I concur that this is the best cover of this song that ive ever heard😊❤..due to the fact that this has been of my favorite songs since 1970 when I first heard it as a ten year old ive listened to perhaps one hundred different performances of it in my lifetime. Yours was the best by far. It was better than the original IMHO. John Lennon is probably pissed off in heaven right now because he admitted that he was just a jealous guy. additionally the coda that you added was beyond gorgeous. Thank you for the gazillionth time for a perfect performance

Happy Birthday George! What a find here on youtube. Since I first saw your video of "Never Going Back" a couple months ago Ive been hooked! I have watched every video I could find of yours here on YT at least twice! Lonely Heartstrings Band and a couple of your duo shows, just great music! Long as I can See the Light was one of my favorites you guys did, just excellent! Amazing voice and outstanding playing. Music played and sang with pure heart and soul! I've played music for over a 1/2 century now :) only several times I've come across such a talented person that I love everything they do, you are at the top of that small list sir. Btw, this one is one of my all time favorite Beatles tunes as well and you did it great justice! Thank you so much!

@@Truefredking2 I can only imagine how he’d feel about the recent decades since his passing. I was born in 1986 to a diehard Beatles fan and a John Lennon enthusiast. I had the last great childhood before everything went to shit. As much as social media has brought us together it’s divided us much more. I’d like to think he avoided that and would be much better off mentally and physically for it. He had a great run, let’s cherish that!
