Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery! Авто/Мото
Converting the Banana from Winder to MORR was like seeing it getting a promotion after all its upgrades. We'll deserved! Congratulations Banana! 🍌 🥳
How come you don't name your company Matt's off-road recovery and son? And could you get back to me with some sort of an answer? That would be pleasant that would be nice.
@@garyvolk2467 why would he need to answer why he didn’t name his company what you think he should me it? Lol where do you people come from? Good lord
@@garyvolk2467 I think its because they do more than just off road recovery
Yes, been waiting for that, for some time now :o)
@@garyvolk2467 the channel is focused more on the off road stuff because that gets the views, but it started off as a towing company
I thought Rudy was going end over at one point - a pucker moment for sure!
I feel like Rudy has one of those in every video like this, a pucker moment that works out fine. Guys a fearless driver.
I thought so too!😄 I was wondering if his mom was there, she would've been freaking out😂😂
Yeah my heart beat went up then too.
Got both rear tires hanging up in the air. Defiantly a pucker moment for those watching.
@@timothygeiger437 She was there, and probably was “freaking out”! Time stamp 18:41, that’s her in the lower portion of the screen.
As a Turkish, I never had any desire to visit the US since big cities like New York, LA or Las Vegas doesn't appeal to me. I only knew the great canyon as something worth visiting but this channel and Ghost Town Living had me decide to visit one day. There are very pretty parts over there. Thanks for showing us Matt!
Lots more to even New York State outside "the city." I live six hours from NYC, never been there. Grew up with the nearest neighbor over half a mile away. Wonderful countryside.
@@bearmotel But what's wonderful? I need to know to want to visit it. :)
I've lived my entire life in the USA. I've been to New York city for just one afternoon. I've never been to Vegas, Los Angeles or California, or Florida. And have spent just a few days in a few of our big, big cities. The USA is a big place. It's a mistake to think of the USA being just the big cities of New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. That's the TV America. It's just one slice of it. The bigger portion is out here.
Everyone: man these trails are kind of tough
Matt: it's so nice to do this without my trailer and in the day
What an absolute legend. Love the videos
Thanks for letting me tag along on the Banana's shake down run. Was a great day with great people.
It always amazes me how capable these wreckers are.
Yeah both dually wreckers are pretty bad ass rigs 👌
Nor Cal 4X4 Rescue Facebook group member reported seeing the Banana on a trailer westbound on I80 10/11 in the evening. The local 4X4 people are wondering what Matt is doing in the area.
The Nor Cal 4X4 Rescue group is amazing. They do the work the Matt does in Utah with volunteers and they always get them out.
hats off to the first guy who decided he would drive that trail
Held my breath when Rudy's Jeep took that last nose dive and the whole rear end came off the ground. The Banana looks awesome, sounds great, and runs out even better. I think you could charge admission to do that trail ride with you. I'd pay for a ticket!
Annual Matt’s off-road expedition. Narliest treks of the year!

@@perryleduc1954 Lol...
At least he knew better to let off the brake
Haha, as awesome as it would be to go wheeling with Matt I wouldn't blame him for not telling anyone when he's going on the trails. All his time would be spent giving autographs and he wouldn't be able to enjoy time with his buddies!

EVERYONE continue spreading the word on this channel! Let's get Matt and company to a million subs by Christmas! This channel well deserves a golden play button!
It's just so heartwarming to see the Banana back under its own power. It's like the heart and soul of MORR has returned!
Awww man! I love the Winder Towing logo! It’s reminiscent of the old 50’s era Route 66 style logo’s you’d see everywhere back in the day. Sad to see it go… 😞
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery That’s great to hear Matt. Love your content. Your family and crew all seem really happy and it all starts at the top so good on you! I’m planning on a trip out there next year, hopefully I won’t need your services but a part me almost hopes I will… 😁👍🏻
i like the chrome headlight bezels, offsets all of that yellow!
Nahhhhh. They need to be black.
I’d prefer yellow. But definitely not chrome.
Lizzy reminds me so much of my daughter. Don't ever change Lizzy. You'll only get better with age.
Man, good to see the BSF wrecker out wheeling so far from home.
I'd keep the chrome around the headlights. I like it.
I would too! Gives the Banana a little bling without hurting its off-roadness.
Agreed!
Nay
I like it too. I was thinking he probly didn’t want any chrome on it but then I saw the wheels again and I think it could kinda match them a little bit
BSF is the grandfather of youtube towing, been watching him for years.
Who is the one with the other dually? Not BSF.
I’m so happy someone shouted them out. Seriously good people over there and don’t get tons of mainstream recognition
That's what I was going to say. The OG!
@@Yourmomsahandle Rory from Moab motor sports.
Yup, same. And I am really impressed at how the BSF wrecker coped with the rock crawling, don't see them doing rocks much.
Holy Crap, it's crazy to see the BSF wrecker in Utah, in the same shot as the Banana. Epic!
So awesome to see BSF recovery on here! BSF was my gateway channel into the world of offroad recovery.
Really cool to see the BSF crew! That wrecker is the OG badass RUclips offroad recovery wagon!
It was awesome seeing the Banana all over during Trail Hero! The night run was a lot of fun too!
Good morning Jillian , I need to come check out your channel again and see your new videos !
@@richardthomas1743 i haven't loaded anything real recent. I was at Trail Hero all week. 😁
Jillian, your IG pics. ❤❤❤❤
@@stout_tossme7541 thanks!
I'm excited you and BSF finally got together on a video!
Trail mater is such a badass rig. 5 winches, air bags, welder, and so much more. I've been watchin that channel for a couple of years now.
BSF! I love those guys! Bravo Matt!
2:07 I'm really surprised Matt didn't use the claw hammer for that.
I was thinking the same thing!
i had the same thought. hahaha
That Jeep sits absolutely perfect on it's new suspension. Good engineers worked on that, for sure.
As a Minnesotan having done Iron range off road park, and now living in UT, was so stoked to see my guy BSF out there!!
I like the rebranding, it fits better with the channel. Now, looking forward to finding out what this top-secret golden nugget recovery trip is all about!
Something to do with Ed's gold claim would be my guess.
They saw some cool old vehicle (can’t for the life of me remember what it was) coming out of the Rubicon trail last summer… my theory is they’re going back for it.
@Marvin de Bot: They’ve said the mission is in the Sierra, Ed’s claim isn’t in the Sierra.
I had to back it up and watch Rudy's sand bath a second time. 😄😄😄
The guys going through the trails with duallys is insane.
Dang I thought Rudy was going over head first! He didn't even seem to flinch!
Rudy ain't no ❄
cause his ass was puckered too tight to flinch!!
If he didn't crap his pants on the drop he probably did watching the video of it. Lol
Saaame! I’m like “oh, no!” 😂
@@kevinkolomichuk3208 Just balls of steel.
The banana is BACK ! WOO HOO ! The " interesting " looking tow rig looks like it belongs on a mad max movie set ( that's how awesome it looks )
As a square body long time owner and lover, this episode made my heart soar!
That GMC surprised me for sure. Awesome and like he said, great spotters.
@@mikemiller3007 check out BSF recovery on RUclips. They're OGs in off road recovery. I found Matt through them and I'm glad I did!
old guy with the heavy full out wrecker is a OG
Really like seeing the BSF wrecker out there. Been watching him for years.
Wait... What???? BSF is there??? Fantastic! I have watched them for years.
Great to see Eric and Mara out in the sun for once. I bet he had a great time crawling the wrecker.👍GO BSF
When it was announced on the BSF channel that they were going to Sand Hollow I have been waiting to see some vids.
The muddy woods meets the sand! Awesome!
Banana pin was actually the highlight of the video for me 🍌
Matt and Matt's crew have done a great job rebuilding the Banana. It performed flawlessly!!!!!!!
If you are gonna be out hardcore offroading, there isn't a better group to have together! Plenty of recovery expertise and gear! Looks like the "nanner is ready to rock.
BSF!!!! That is so cool to see the wrecker still crawling!
Kinda dig seeing those dualies out there ripping it up and crawling around on the rocks.
Pretty awesome to see all the RUclipsrs in one video, just missin Casey Ladelle and his Grand Cherokee!
To me, this is one of your best videos. Having never been off-roading, the shots of your vehicles on that “obstacle course” were amazing👍👍👍👍👍.
The BANANA ROCKS.
Great job to everyone on the build crew. 👏
I’ve learned from many years in the woods that XJs, even in stock form, are basically unstoppable. Even if they can’t drive straight through, there’s always a XJ line that works.
That wrecker has Mad Max vibes.
It's great to see the banana off road again! Watching Rudy's rear wheels in the air during that drop had a high pucker factor!
Right?!?
Rudy, I caught my breath when you started down that slope and the rear wheels came off the ground. Great recovery. Congrats to the whole team and especially the Banana!
There is something about those off road tow trucks that is so cool to me. Maybe it's because they just look so rugged but get the job done!
I think you guys did good, the Banana seemed to preform the way you wanted. I like the way the rock crawlers community looks out for each other. New logo looks great!
End of an era for the banana but an exciting new chapter! Congrats guys, so much work goes in to what you guys do!
Awesome to see BSF and others wheeling with you!
This is extra impressive because Matt made a recovery vehicle, not a rock crawler. We can only
try to imagine what he would build if he wanted a dedicated rocker. --- Thanks for upload. ---
I LOVE THE CHROME HEADLIGHT BEZELS!!!! Y’all should keep them! Everyone blacks everything out nowadays
I second that! It's a great look!
Those tow rigs in the vid are so RAD!!!!. Also have mad respect for Rudy's XJ. It's a real world vehicle, kinda like what the majority of us XJ owners have
That exhaust sounds great. I never heard a six cyl sound so healthy.
The new Super Banana! Now Matt needs to build an off-road wrecker like his friends to add to his arsenal!!!
"If you see me go above the line, stop me" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 okay Matt, I'll yell at you from my couch in Seattle. Love seeing the Banana finally getting fully pieced together.

Really too cool to see y'all taking bsf out on the local rocks a desert trails. I remember watching them so long ago
Same here man.
They still have a channel and post all the time
They bring the mud to the recoveries, for sure!
The BEASTLY BANANA looks and works great! After Rudy got roosted on he should have enough sand in his Jeep to build a sandcastle.
That was great to see BSF out there with you guys.
Makes me get a little blurry eyed watching Rudy follow his dad up those ledges. Good job guys.
Always a treat being reminded what great drivers Matt and Rudi are. Having seen the things the other channels get into - respect and appreciation of sharing your humble awesomeness. 👍 (man that sounded fawning, not intended)
Yes, outstanding drivers! Absolutely love Rudy!
Sincerity is the antidote fer ass kissing.....You're ok bro.....
Its a whole different scenario when your livelihood depends on your vehicles. Since these guys are out on trails recovering every day they've developed really good skills. Since they rely on these vehicles to put food on the table, they're probably careful and conservative.
You really couldn't pick a better crew to 4x4 with than the banana, and not one, but TWO tow trucks! Nice riding, folks
ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND ADORE THIS CHANNEL!!! My number one favorite You Tubers period! I love Jeeps, love that you're in the #1 state for technical off roading and I love the technical trails, recoveries and the humor of this amazing crew... I NEVER miss a video from this channel. I can't wait to spend the winter this year in SW Utah! I can't wait to meet you all!
When Matt said “I wonder if this will come out of there,” when cutting the rear bumper, I totally expected the claw hammer. The channel locks were a wild twist! 😂
I thought he'd heat it up so he could grab hold of it with ungloved fingers.
@@TrevorDennis100 also a legit possibility!

“A wild twist” indeed!
Awesome video watching all of my favorite off road recovery RUclips guys. Only thing that would of made this better would of been having Fab Rat Paul out with you guys. The Banana looks and performed like a champion. Great job to Matt's Off Road Recovery on the new Banana.
Thats has some RUclips legends. We need more of this
With all of the offroad recovery guy's all on the same run, no one's getting unstuck anywhere else! Sure is cool seeing those old wreckers on the trail. Also easy to understand why you guys don't use one.
Great seeing the Banana back on the trail!! 16:59 looked like fun Matt!! Hope to do this trail with y’all!!
Banana looks great with its facelift! ❤️🐞
Gotta say, I'd love to see Matt build a dually tow truck like the two seen in this video. Those things are badass and it would save a lot of time and hassle getting vehicles with two perfectly good back wheels onto trailers. Just putting it out there!
Why? When he really needs it Paul from Fab Rats borrows how dad's.
*his, not how.
dang....those dually's could almost run with the Mad Max crowd! Fun to watch you all play in the sand
I was impressed with how well BSF's wrecker did since it is not built for that type of terrain.
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery just impressed with that big rig and what he can make it do. I live in Michigan, and can relate to what he normally drives. I would be a fish out of water in your neck of the wood. Love all the videos. And I have a red, and 'yellow' yankum rope! Be safe
That 8000lbs wreaker is damn impressive
How has this whole build gone down without someone giving matt the ol' wrench on the frame trick during a start up?! 🤣
😆
I been a victim of that a few times 😂
Rory's wrecker is so damn perfect
Ol trail mater ain't scared to hit that skinny pedal. That big one ton wrecker moves pretty good for being so damn big 💪
I love when I get to see my 3 favorite youtubers on the same video.. banana looks like its running perfect! I see rudy still hasn't installed that locker 🤣 Rory is always good for entertainment lol
Good seeing bsf rig out having fun.
I spent the last week watching all the banana build videos, great series of videos.
The best part about the banana is the straight six engine, the straight six is a great workhorse.
BSF Wrecker and the Banana in one video... this is AWESOME!
That was a lot of fun watching you all take on that challenging terrain. I think I would loose the trailer hitches, they look like they took a real beating, the winches...I don't know what I would do about the clearance on them, more armor? Lot's of capable machines. Now officially "Matt's Off Road Recovery." The Banana is looking great.
Pretty cool seeing the bsf wrecker crew out there. The banana seemed to hold up well.
Man who knew that a new sticker would change the look of banana 🍌 so much love the new look 👍
Enjoy the show and especially your family and employees. Originally from Price but have most of my adult life in FL. Get home sick every time I see the red rock country. Keep up the good work. Rich Staley
I have seen almost all your videos. You have converted through the years a normal XJ to a lovely, powerful and very capable machine for recoveries and off-road fun. You are a very good team, that a man not everyday can find. I also enjoy your videos with Paul and the FabRats. Keep up the good work Matt! Greetings from Greece!
So happy to see the BSF crew getting some love. Been watching their stuff for a long time. From muddy style to MOAB style.
I love Matt - no pretension - wears his hi-vis work shirt on a leisure drive.
Having a lift to do suspension work is a non negotiable item. It lets you compress the suspension to see what tires fit. You can completely remove the whole drive line and do exhaust work. Love it . Cheers to all the hard work ! 🇺🇸🍌
The rebranding is looking good. When the bananas done I suspect Rudy's Jeep is going to get built up.
They have MRAP axles sitting there for some mystery build, I suspect the next build is some heavy duty recovery vehicle.
Matt has been getting parts in & has eluded to a new build, when they started on the banana. Matt said the MRAP axles are for the next build. As someone said before me, guessing he's going to build a heavy duty recovery vehicle. He does get calls for big motorhomes getting stuck in the sand, one ton pickups pulling triple axle fifth wheel campers, a heavy duty recovery vehicle could help with them. Besides his former friend & competition has a heavy duty former military truck.
@@timothygeiger437 I look forward to seeing what's next!
Rudy's Jeep is getting the MRAP axles??
That would be so great.
They have that Corvair pickup that was talked about being widened, I could see the MRAP axles under that truck.
Looks SO much better with the new ''Matt's off road recovery'' livery on the Banana.
tip for large decals. spray the truck and the back of the sticker with 5%soap/water mixture. place where you like, squeegee water out. let dry in sun or heatgun dry.
Did Rudy have a Pucker moment dropping off that one ledge...his backend came off the ground pretty good..
I did watching lol
Hope his mama didn't see that.
Oof moment. Needs to get off that brake pedal sooner!
When the headlights were put on and the chrome bezels added, initially agreed that they should not stay. Once out in the field on the shake down and back in the shop, the chrome bezels grew on me. Giving the front end a uniqueness. Just my opinion, I think you should stay with the chrome. I know some may think it looks terrible, but the Banana has a certain unique quality to its appearance.
I agree. Many automotive enthusiasts are anti-chrome but I personally think it looks cool.
U should have brought ED with you on the first run with the banana we love to see ED with you he makes the recovery so much fun God bless
Very awesome upgrade guys!! the BANANA has come a long way it's a new designed vehicle 👌. Can't wait for operation golden nugget. Stay safe and healthy thanks 😊
