Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery!
That's my 3 year old boy in the Morrvair at the end of the video, Matt made his day! He plays with his toy trucks in the sand box and gets them stuck and "Matt" gets the call to pull them out. We traveled about 100 miles to come and see everybody and excited Matt and crew came as far north as they did. My son and I watch every video. It was great to meet the crew. Thanks so much!
Razors = thousands of hours of professional engineering and lasts 15 minutes on the trail.
Banana = 15 minutes of eyeball estimating and lasts for thousands of reliable trail recoveries.
Banana = NO parts to sell if it breaks.
Razor = make more profit from broken parts and aftermarket.

Almost expected Fab Rats to show up.
Jaymie making lunch for the whole crew is exactly what I love about this channel. I wish the world as made up entirely of small, family owned businesses. Thanks for doing your part!
For real, its so much more personal. I hate when i have to deal with somebody who doesn't care about anything but going home at the end of the day. Box stores are the worst having to deal with employees and there bad attitudes.
@@JeepTrailsandBarbells You are comparing two things that are different . Matt , and his wife Jaymie , are business owners . Their son , Rudy , is part of that family . They are
making money off their various business interests such as the towing company , the off road recoveries , the sale of kinetic ropes and paraphernalia , and
the operation of the You Tube channel . Their skill , hard work , and positive attitude , are paying dividends to them .
They are not minimum wage workers at Walmart or Tyson Foods , or , other low paid employees at Home Depot or Lowe`s. Employee behavior is often a
reflection of how employees are treated .
@@williameddy1662 Very "interesting, yet TRUE" comment !!!!!!
@@williameddy1662 I've worked for Home Depot for over 13 years and I have never had an employer work so hard to take care of us. Not all Big Box stores treat their employees the same. I have major health issues and they have taken care of me and even allowed me opportunities to grow and improve. Some does have to do with the actual store leaders but I love working where I do. I've worked in several different store locations and they were all very positive places to work. It certainly doesn't compare to Matt and his team, as the business models are vastly different. They certainly look like an amazing group of people to work for as well.
And...they were cooked to perfection and looked YUMMY!!
I know it was probably difficult to do without us😉, but we hope you guys had a good time at the Cache Valley Cruise In! We could possibly be joining you next year with some sweet rides!😎
FABRATS FAN HERE - LETS GET IT!!!!! GET THEM TRIPS GOING WE LOVE SEEING THE CHANNELS COLAB
Would love to see you guys at the cruise in! Was fun to meet Matt and the crew.
Honestly, the only thing that would have made meeting Matt's crew any better would have been meeting yours as well! It's so fun watching you two, I love watching the builds and the friendship.
I love watching you both work on anything me and my wife just bought a 99 dodge ram 2500 with only 83,809
It would be along drive but you and Matt I mean everyone should come up for a derby car event would be sick to watch.
Matt.... why didn't i have a boss like you when i was younger, you treat all your staff as equals ......great team.....
The boss builds the team. So either you trust your team, or you’re not doing *your job*. So few bosses realize these basic facts.
Recoveries, repairs, upgrades, attending events... wife bringing you fuel in the middle of the night - You're like the Avengers of Off Road Recovery. I realize that although you're earning a very decent living - you are also undoubtedly an essential part of this tourism community. Thank you all for your dedication in extreme weather and road conditions, while keeping us entertained and educated at the same time!
Excellent Comment !!!!!
Nice to see hard work and good attitudes rewarded.
Matt's knowledge of undercarriage design is EPIC! Engineers would scratch their heads. Matt would weld!
Love the CAD design (cardboard assist Design)
Well done on the refresh, that old beast has put a lot of groceries on the table and it most certainly deserved the love. Being a small town guy myself, and having raised my family here I really appreciate how you, your family and your business are connected to the heart of your community. That car show and fund raiser are clear indications that Small Town America is still alive and well despite what we are sometimes led to believe.
We ain't perfect, but we are still making the wheels turn.
I like that Matt has given Lizzy a lot of the welding to do and doesn’t look over her shoulder while she is welding. That builds confidence.
He can't watch her without wearing a helmet!
It’s common sense you don’t look into the arc without a helmet on
I've said this before. Mat seems to never get mad and he gives his crew things to do with little supervision.
@@jcgillin51 you sound like you would stare into the arc
Young lady you are too good in your work, will surely boost others young girls out there watching to join & learn basic practical knowledge which may help in future, 👷♀
I love Trevor’s down to earth answers. “fat chance”.
He's hilarious. He pulled the Olivia Newton John reference too.
I came down here to say the same thing, nearly spit out my coffee.
Lizzy is one bad ass little woman!!! Pulls that wheel/tire off, holds it, and drops it and catches it on the rebound! WOW!! Glad to see a daughter take such an interest in the business! We all love her!
Everyone needs to have a Lizzy around. No matter how bad a day you are having, one smile from Lizzy and the problems just melt away.
I love how you’ve such a special bond with both Rudy and Lizzy.❤️
He's got more kids than just Rudy. Expect to see them someday as well.
I couldn't quite see whose fire department that was on the cheque. Very, very generous, you are good people and the world should have MORR of you.
Logan Fire Department.
That definitely surprised me when we saw the amount go in. $11,000 is a serious donation for a relatively small business. Mind you, I just checked Social Blade, and I hadn't noticed how quickly the channel's subscriber base was growing. They could have more income from RUclips than they do from towing, and good luck to them - it's well deserved.
@@TrevorDennis100 That amount may have been from their merchandise sales at the Cache Valley Cruise In, which took place in the city of Logan. They said they would be donating proceeds to charity.
Love how you are helping Lizzy develop her fabrication skills, that girl can wrangle a tire! The highlight of the video was Jaimie's grilled cheese and ham, those looked awesome.
What I love about you and your team is how much respect you all have for each other and zero sexism , excellent environment . God bless.
Awesome for the Logan community, and fire department, way to go Matt and crew!
I love watching these videos. Great enjoyment for a 78 year old guy, who loves to fabricate things. I have to mention Lizzy! She can weld, get under cars, where Matt can not, and is funnier than most of the guys, and not to forget, Cute! Can't leave out Ed. One heck of a guy at his age. All around, the best crew, and great videos to boot. Keep up the these good videos, and I thank you very much. From Central Indiana, USA!
You all are a bunch of rare folks that this world needs more of. Best Wishes and Regards
That was a healthy donation to the Fire Dept!
Way to go Matthew!
👍
I am actually developing a better attitude just by watching these videos 😎
I feel I've become a better person. Can't tell for sure yet, but it sure feels so....
....fearless Lizzy...prettiest welder ever...no tire too big, no fab too small...
No way dude. Matt’s THE prettiest welder, EVER. Haha
I love that Lizzy is willing to jump in and learn anything you do it just shows women can do anything they want
First off, I still say Rudy is working to change careers. Hollywood isn't to far away. We watch Lizzy working so hard taking tires off, welding, driving stuck vehicles and who does Matt look at when Jamie's bringing lunch and needs the bench cleaned off? Kid needs a raise. Will have to go back to Utah to see you all in one place? Looked like some big celebrations on the fourth. You signing that check, made feel proud I'm a big fan. Thank you, your family, friends and employees for doing what you do so good. Hope to be able to shake all your hands someday. Take care and again, Thank you all.
What's wrong with the slag hammer? "People hate this one more"😎 Now that's a respectable comment
Keyboard warriors like “Damn straight” called out
100% legitimate reason.
Old welder buddy of mine carried what looked like a tomahawk as a slag hammer. Sharp point on the back with what looked like a 3" flat axe head on the front. Great for knocking slag and spatter off of plate welds.
Whole group of great people. Matt seems like a man that would help anyone at anytime and you don’t see that much anymore. Very stoked for his and his family’s success.
I was in St George with my family a month ago, Matt and Jamie and crew were very kind and welcoming. Great people!!
I had the pleasure of meeting Matt and crew at the cache valley cruise in. Thanks for coming to Logan. It was fun to see you all.
that's a good thing you did for the Logan Fire Department..that's one of the biggest struggles in the volunteer departments is the funds to keep on going..in my area anyways.
the second struggle is getting people to volunteer for that type of work.
good on you matt!
“My style of fabrication requires a lot of hacking and cutting…” haha 😂
We've gone to the same school!
MATT you are a wonderful friend, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR COMMING OVER TO SEE HOW WE WERE DOING ,IT MEANT SO MUCH THANK YOU
Lizzy is a modern day "Rosie the Riveter". Looks great doing it too! You go Lizzy!
It was so awesome to get to meet everyone yesterday!!! Thank you Matt and Rudy for talking to me. And THANK YOU Matt for letting me actually sit IN the MORRVAIR. Was really epic and awesome day
2:28 lizzy's expression is priceless...!!!!!
Really wanted to make the Cruise in, but had prior commitments taking a group of young men camping. As a former Loganite, I can really appreciate your generosity.
Can't wait to see the banana with the ORIs. Keep it up!!
the end was awesome! thank you all for just being yourselves....ill be out to meet you next year....and earn my shirt....get some gray ones
Grilled cheese and tomato soup is the best! My favorite.
I really like the new suspension Matt. Going to be an even better ride with the Ori's though. Great job team. God bless
Thanks for coming to the cache Valley cruise in
for me personally that was the highlight of the show and thanks for including me and my son at the end of the video what a cool and unexpected treat
I don’t know where you get the time! Nice to see the Banana getting some love
Very generous donation to the FD. I think the main reason I watch this channel is because you are such good people.
It's all coming together and I see that you are a big part in this area.. I bet the channel has brought more light and ideas for the area and plenty of new people coming and helping the community grow. Great work.. Happy Sunday love you all👍☺️💯🙃👋🤜🤛👏
Hopefully that light doesn't shine to directly on those rental car customers. They are irreplaceable. ❤🇺🇲😉

“It’s not a rock crawler.” First time out, finds a pile of rocks to crawl over.
Haha
It was awesome seeing you guys at the cruise-in highlight of our weekend!!
I love watching Lizzy welding she has learned very fast and she looks beautiful
learning fast yes, but needs a lot of practice to get good.
Lizzie is a beast. And I mean that as a complement. The way she handled that tire was very impressive
Excellent Donation to the Fire Department. Hope we get a video update for this event.
"Still no Death Wobble..." Every Jeep owner has to test for Death Wobble.
🤣🤣 its so true
And they’re still making the new ones with the crappy stabilizers.
STILL. 🤷♀️🤦🏽♀️🤣
88 XJ I gave my son. We're driving from California to Nebraska towing a small utility trailer. About Elko develops a wobble above 50 mph. No parts in Elko. Drove the next 900 miles at 45 mph. We averaged 25 mpg for the rest of the trip.
Technically every pickup with a solid front axle has the potential to wobble, my ram 3500 did it until i installed a stabilizer, ford F250,350s have it too... Oem only means
good enough to pass minimum requirements, far from ideal
Oh what a feeling the first time it happens. Mine was in a new 1976 CJ5,,,
I am just gonna say it... Matt for President! Calm, logical, problem solver.
I really want a plasma cutter. I don't really "need" one but after watching this channel and Fab Rats I really want one.
They are pretty cool. They beat an oxy/acetylene cutting torch all hollow.
@@dbmail545 I've used both but have neither. I don't do a ton of metal working anymore, but I'm sure I could find stuff to do. My welder is just a 110 flux core. Not the greatest but it gets the job done.

9:26 ... She's so good at welding because nobody ever told her that she couldn't be good at it !!!
Both my girls took to welding incredibly quickly. Their hands are rock steady and they don't rush anything or try to force it. It's pretty interesting.
@@jcims it's sorta the same when teaching the young ladies to shoot. They don't have bad habits to unlearn.
@@dbmail545 totally agree buddy.
It's definitely not a "Binky" build. "Is the Axle centred?" "Aah! that's a good idea." LOL
I love project binky. This definitely isn't 😜. But also fun to watch 🙂
Binky certainly has the best quality, but only having an episode every 4 months is a bit slower than Matt's channel.
@@MrPizzaman09 slower definitely. 7 years ago i started watching when they posted the first video. And it's still not done. But it's going to be beautiful and fast.
i love the "binky" build way bom have , and I do love the winging it wat matt have as well , I probably just like looking at cars being made
all young women should have lizzy skills and attitude!!
I wouldn’t mind women and men both having that attitude tbh. 😊
You mean people? Lmao
@@-MOYST- Indeed, bad choice of words on my end. 😅
She is impressive. Not afraid to try things, wrangles the tires like a pro, welds, gets 100% into the jobs at hand. A valuable member of the MORR team.
I was going to bring up a gas can to have you autograph at the Cache Valley Cruise-in, but Jamie said you finally got it fixed! lol! I bought a rope, shirts and had the crew autograph them! It was nice to see you guys up North! Let me know if you guys ever do a drawing for a Ride-A-Long!
Our family had so much fun meeting you and your team at the Cruise-In. My boys wanted you to know they really appreciated being able to sit in the Morrvair Friday, when you started it up for us yesterday afternoon, and that we were shouting, "Corvair Don't Care!", when you went by during the parade! Thanks so much!
Yeah no1 cares tbh
With that slogan "We'll get them out", you can always start a bouncer business.
Lizzy's impressive...yanks tire off and holds it a couple of seconds just to show, "I've got this".
If I had of did it, it would have came towards me and smacked me in the face.

I would bet there are more heartbroken dudes than jealous gals 🤣
Who are the parents? Matt?
@@FransBlaas1 I believe Lizzy's folks are friends of Jaymie and Matt, and Matt keeps her around because she works like a man on recoveries.
