Looks amazing but i saw in a cooking show that Greeks use a traditionally made pastry-sheet. I would prefer that one just do not know how its composition
Thank you! I've been to Greece many times and it is almost always made with filo pastry. But of course there are options. :)

Many many thanks!
Good definitely yes.
But I just wondered isn't there another bougatsa recipe with a special cheese mixed into the custard also?
Hello! Yes, there is and is so, so delicious! I ate this kind of bougatsa in Crete and was amazing!
That's it yes, I tried it there in Heraklion 👍👍👍
I was in Chania last September. 😊
Is it not complete without butter?
In this recipe I use 200 g butter. 🙂
I am Greek and that’s not Bougatsa and if you decide to make this be sure to add a bunch of cinnamon on top with the powdered sugar
Hello! Sorry to hear that you think so. I was in Greece many time and I really love your country! I took the recipe from one of those trips. I'm agree with you about the cinnamon. Greetings. 🙂
