Nice. Honestly, it sounds to me more like the early 1960s than anything from the '50s, but it's nicely done. It's kinda Four Seasonsy in style, and recall, that group did not have a hit record until 1962 at the earliest. While I don't know of any 1950s songs that sounded like this, it certainly does have that early '60s sound which predominantly fell within that very brief window of 1961 thru '63 or '4 at the latest. (In other words, it's post-Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bo Diddley, LaVern Baker, Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps, Elvis Presley, and Everly Brothers at the height of their success, ...but it also sounds very pre-Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hollies, Kinks, Manfred Mann, and Dave Clark 5, British Invasion in style. This puts it right smack in that early 60s period: Four Seasons, The Dovells, Joey Dee & The Starlighters, Freddy Cannon, early-Tommy James & The Shondells,, etc.) Very cool!
