Usually, Michael was so soft spoken in his music, but in this instance he was PISSED over how he was treated by the press. So much so that he actually said "stop FUCKING with me" in the second chorus. You've ways gotta be wary of the quiet people.
Yeah, even this collab took forever to be made. MJ wanted to collaborate with her in the early 90s, but Janet wanted to separate herself from the Jackson brand/name. She didn’t want to be “Micheal Jackson’s sister”, she wanted to build her own name and career, which she did.
Exactly! People said she didn’t want to work with him which isn’t true at all. She just wanted to build her own name first! She became the top paid musician of all time (at the time) and one of the biggest artists in the world first. Then she came back to collab 😂. Love my QUEEN and ICON Ms Janet!
A Michael Jackson video, and Kev wearing a Nightwish tshirt! Love it, my favourite artist and my favourite band! Love it! 😎🤘 Scream is such an amazing song, and the video with Michael and Janet doing Jackson things is just legendary!! The entire HIStory album (which Scream is on) was indeed in the aftermath of the Chandler (false) allegations in 93 - Michael was pissed off and he poured all his anger and fury into that album! Michael and Janets hug at the end is just so wholesome ❤
Thank you so much KeV and DaVe, this song and music video is so great! Love it so much ❤️ this is the only major collaboration Michael had with his sister Janet, this video won a Grammy for the best music video/ short film, Janet is a great music artist too, you can also react to her music videos like 'Rhythm Nation' that's Michael's favorite song from his sister, Michael used to practice his dance to his sister's songs, they both look stunning in this music video and so sweet that they hugged each other at the end .
The only other thing Janet and Mike worked on together was P.Y.T. Janet sang background on that song. You can hear her on the call and response section of the song when mike says “Pretty young thangs repeat after me. Say Na Na Na”.
Love this song, video 😍😍😍😍😍. Was in high school when this came out! The scene with Janet with the toilet lolz i believe is in reference to how people used to say Michael and Janet were the same person.
Awesome reaction! Yes it is the most expensive music video costing 7m at the time. Would love to see more Janet reactions "If" or "Rhythm Nation" are great
Thats hysterical…I literally just posted about this being the most expensive video ever, and two seconds later you pause the video and say exactly what I posted! 😂
Hi Kev and Dave! Really missed your MJ reactions and I don’t mean that you haven’t been uploading them, I just haven’t watched them in a little while. But please do keep them coming as I really enjoy watching your reactions to MJ content as I’m a big fan myself! ❤
Janet did some backing vocals on P.Y.T. That’s about it recording-wise. She did used to appear on the Jacksons Variety Show back in the mid-70s when she was about 10, doing skits (mostly with Randy). But then went into acting rather than singing when Michael’s big solo albums kicked off.
The number 7 was important to MJ…not only the theological aspect… but Michael was the seventh child and his birthday 29th August is the 241st day of the year… 2+4+1 = 7… and many more other bizarre coincidence in his life added up to 7… hence the cute 7 on his pvc squash suit. TLC copied the crap out of this a few years later. It was good, but Scream it wasn’t 😂
To my knowlesge, this is the only song Michael ever did with his sister, or any of his sisters for that matter. In fact, If i remember right, I don't think this was a planned thing. The idea of brother and sister in song was kind of last minute I think. Michael Jackson would have sang this song alone otherwise. But I'm glad Janet is in it! I loved this song and music video.
Although I absolutely love this video, and am a huge fan of Michael and Janet’s, this original mix was not that good to me. It sounds a bit over produced and noisy . I prefer the club remixes and the R&B remixes, especially the Naughty By Nature remix. This production sounds a lot different from Michael’s usual sound because he used her long time production team Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis because they had produced so many big hits for her.
Love. It. Love it. Love it. Thanks guys. Love you guys. Love Micheal jackson❤
Michael and Janet should've done more together, they complimented each other so well
Usually, Michael was so soft spoken in his music, but in this instance he was PISSED over how he was treated by the press. So much so that he actually said "stop FUCKING with me" in the second chorus. You've ways gotta be wary of the quiet people.
Yeah someone saying fuck makes them so dangerous.
you sound slow @@PH-vv1ky
Okay lol
Yassssss, I love thisssss😃😀😃 Thanks Kev and Dave, she did back up vocals with him on Thriller

Missed your MJ reactions :(
ICONIC!❤🔥
It’s not featuring Janet … it’s her producers her concept and co written by Janet …not to mention samples one of her songs ‘ the knowledge’
The only other thing Janet and Mike worked on together was P.Y.T. Janet sang background on that song. You can hear her on the call and response section of the song when mike says “Pretty young thangs repeat after me. Say Na Na Na”.
This video still holds the world record of the most expensive music video ever made.
Mj is the best!!!💜💜
M.j คือสุดยอด ของความล้ำสมัย เสมอ..
ผู้ชายคนนี้ คือคนที่สร้างความตื่นตา ตื่นใจ
ให้โลกเสมอ👍👏🤴🙏 K& D.🥰

classic 🤣
MJ paid the 7m out of his own pocket. This video made it in the book of genius world records.

U forgot to mention 2300 Jackson Street. It was the whole family but had Michael and Janet on the track
@@billyjohn7846 Ah of course!
Great reaction 👍
THE best video ever made over 7 million dollars
Awesome song
I didnʼt knew Michael Jackson loved anime, itʼs surreal to see Saint Seiya in the video.
u should add Janet to the roster honestly
👏👏👏👏👏👏 Da bomb!
Love the reactions! Can you guys react to Thriller, Billie Jean, and Smooth Criminal from This Is It!
Now you two should recreate this video.
I’ve requested things but don’t get picked. How about 1997 Beat it Gothenburg?
Please react to Michael Jackson Bad short film.
Could you please react to Michael Jackson (The Jacksons) - "Be Not Always"? Thank you.
I think this video costs upwards of 7 million actually.
This Short Film cost M.J. 7 million dollars, which he out of his own pocket..
The words “short film” gave me inner peace here 😂 MJ would be proud of you 👍🏻 😂❤
Thank you could you please react to MJ song this time around

This video cost $3 million per minute.
