  • Voron 2.4 R2 frame build, step by step. A few tips and tricks - most of you may have seen in other places, but here I jamb them into one decently short video! The LDO Voron frame extrusions are set to impress with a great powder coat and no notable issues, except a "shallow nut" (not a self-description).

Finally starting my 2.4 350mm build. I belive I watched you first build while I was waiting on mine to arrive. Just built my frame watching your video with my print out. It went prefect beside me not noticing my mm ruler started about 1/4 inch in lol.

Glad you're having a good time. Mine starts at about 1/4" also. It's so the ruler is more accurate.

The aluminium isn't powder coated by the way, with aluminium it's anodised which embeds a dye in to the surface of the aluminium which is much more durable. This is why all surfaces are coloured evenly which would have been a pain with paint/powder coat.

You are correct - on both counts. I recently anodized titanium during a live stream, much easier than aluminum.

the corner brackets aren't symmetrical, one hole is deeper.
