Hi hafu! I actually don't really agree with some of your points. I'm an architecture student and have an iPad Pro 12.9 with the pencil but not the keyboard and unlike as you mention it doesn't make me unproductive to not use the keyboard. I use my iPad for 2 things. 1 notebook replacement. 2 sketchpad replacement. I'm, not a very organized person so having all my notes and sketches available at all times is incredibly useful. I used to lose some of my notes older notebooks that were already full so having it in one device is incredible. you don't need to type with the iPad if you have a laptop in my opinion. The iPad and pencil for me are just a way to eliminate the huge pencil case and a dozen notebook I had to carry with me every day. Now i only have my laptop iPad one pen one ruler my calculator and a small notebook just in case. Its been a really good investment for me both for productivity and organization as well as for comfort. An iPad isn't necessary but it is a great luxury and if you want a similar use to me it is better to save the money from the keyboard to upgrade the screen size.

@@gracezhang2949 Well if you only need it for notes and Netflix and don't need the computing power of the pro then it's probably better to do ur wallet a favour and get the normal iPad or the iPad air. I’m so glad to have found this video! I currently have the 11 inch iPad Pro and it’s such a game changer. It’s so good, and I spent the government COVID check on it (oops) and i really wanted to try the paper like screen protector, but it’s a bit pricey, so I opted for a paper like one from amazon, which is still amazing! Had to get procreate for the iPad too because that’s just the life of a digital arts college student 😂

I have the 12.9 IPad Pro with the magic keyboard for work but rarely use it I’d rather use my desktop for work. She got me the 11” Pro for everyday use and so far I love it.
I think your points can be applied to any iPad that has been launched from a year ago. I think the iPad Air 3 would be my go to device, as it can offer the same features for a lower price and a faster charging in comparison to the iPad Pro as the big bezels don’t bother me.
I am a student and I really need a tablet for note taking and multitasking... I also want to watch Netflix and scroll on Instagram... Despite the price, which one you think is better? There's no issues with basic screen protectors but in my experience the Paperlike has a special matte surface finish which emulates the surface of paper without destroying your apple pencil tip

Um I have an iPad and I like writing on glass, maybe try adjusting the way u hold ur Apple Pencil and it’ll work just fine lol. I tried a paper like screen and hated it
Sometimes what you get with the 2-in-1 aesthetics sometimes you lose in storage, I’ve used the surface pro and I would recommend it if you get all the accessories,as well as the hp elitebook and they’re just as good as the iPad. However, one thing you’ll deal with on laptop is lagging, iPad Pro’s don’t glitch ever. If you don’t know which to go I’d recommend a budget iPad 7th generation w max GB w the gen 1 Pencil and a used apple keyboard or one with a trackpad and mouse. It’ll cost you less than any of them and you’ll be able to see exactly what you need from your pc
Theresa Akinjo that’s why I don’t like Microsoft laptops and tablets, and also why iPad dominates the tablet world. Nobody wants to wait 5 years for their app to load. Apple does a very good job on maintaining the speed, especially with how powerful the iPad pro’s chip is
Very true. I have an IPad Pro 12.9 inch. It’s my baby. I use it everyday for EVERYTHING. I bought for personal use and school. I’m finally transitioning into using good notes and being paper free and I just bought an apple pen. Buy the iPad 7 if you don’t care about the pro features
depends on you. most people would recommend macbook, but personally i would recommend an ipad because you can use it as a laptop and for notetaking. unless you don't use any programs that require macOS, go for an ipad. it's like hitting two birds with one stone. it may not be the perfect laptop replacement for many but if you're a student who can't afford both mbp and ipad, go for the ipad pro.
These things are cool but I'll never buy one with how expensive they are. Mostly because all I would use it for I can do on a much cheaper Amazon Fire 10. I also kinda prefer phone sized so I'd use an iPhone over this still.
I’m deciding if I’m buying a Ipad OR a macbook. The only thing that stresses me out about the iPad is the zoom meetings. Can I still zoom while taking notes on the iPad? I can do that on my mac but im not sure about iPads?
Hellow late comment here :D I think i would say that the iPad wont replace laptops , BUT it would somehow replace or give u an optional “2in1” laptops (Hybrid touchscreen laptops) 😳
The Magic Keyboard reason I don’t buy it because I don’t type enough to justify that price tag. if I want to use my iPad Pro 2020 I use it with external monitor and peripherals for some content creation work.
Hafu Go If you buy one I will gladly take it or unless I win one in a giveaway. Like I said on my previous comment I don’t type enough to justify the purchase.
If people just want the iPad and not the pencil you don’t have to get the screen protector, also if you get a paper like you loose the rich colors and good quality due to the texture and material of the screen protector
Would buy it right away if only i have enough money. it's too expensive that can pay my two year tuition fee. just wish to get one soon. or maybe gimmie one hahah. thanks
I've just bought the ipad pro 128gb and im still hesitating if I should return it and buy the ipad air 4 256gb... I'm in med school so i will use it just for note taking, lectures, lots of books and pdfs... Should i stay with the pro 128gb (is enough?) or should I buy the Ipad air 4 256 gb?? The only thing that concerns me is the storage. Is 128gb enough for just medical school stuff or do I need more than that???
Nah I say go for the ipad air 256gb because it's lighter than the ipad pro and plus it's smaller so it will be more comfortable.Thats my advise but if you game or you want 120 hz just keep the ipad pro and if run out of storage you could buy ssd or ixpand.Thats just my advise.😊

MahTheVein honestly the 120hz is just too important for the writing experience.
I got the iPad Air 4
You right you right
I don't have any laptops yet,So should i buy i pad pro for collage or macbook pro 2019?Please tell me
Did you not watch the video
depends on you. most people would recommend macbook, but personally i would recommend an ipad because you can use it as a laptop and for notetaking. unless you don't use any programs that require macOS, go for an ipad. it's like hitting two birds with one stone. it may not be the perfect laptop replacement for many but if you're a student who can't afford both mbp and ipad, go for the ipad pro.
I got a deal. IPad Pro 2018 64gb, Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil for 730€
Have you heard of a mouse 🖱 and a keyboard Insted of the 300 magic keyboard
iPad Air 3 gang!
Watching videos telling how great the iPad is for students, from my iPad Pro xD
These things are cool but I'll never buy one with how expensive they are. Mostly because all I would use it for I can do on a much cheaper Amazon Fire 10. I also kinda prefer phone sized so I'd use an iPhone over this still.
I’m deciding if I’m buying a Ipad OR a macbook. The only thing that stresses me out about the iPad is the zoom meetings. Can I still zoom while taking notes on the iPad? I can do that on my mac but im not sure about iPads?
You could do it but obviously it isn’t as good at multitasking. Maybe a 7/10
Hafu Go Thanks for the reply! I know you can split screen on an iPad, I just know it’s not as efficient! Thanks:)
Yeah, you right!
Hellow late comment here :D I think i would say that the iPad wont replace laptops , BUT it would somehow replace or give u an optional “2in1” laptops (Hybrid touchscreen laptops) 😳
Just ordered mine
5:28 NINEE NINEEE!!
Can you use word, Excel, PowerPoint etc on the I pad using a Bluetooth keyboard and a mouse??
you can but i's inconvenient to move around
i alr have the ipad and mac, but i'll have to choose 1 between those two and idk what to choose lol
The Magic Keyboard reason I don’t buy it because I don’t type enough to justify that price tag. if I want to use my iPad Pro 2020 I use it with external monitor and peripherals for some content creation work.
yeah ipad is pretty useless without the keyboard
Hafu Go If you buy one I will gladly take it or unless I win one in a giveaway. Like I said on my previous comment I don’t type enough to justify the purchase.
That artwork the statues with the X eyes... last time I saw them pretty sure they were expensive you rich?
you're gonna hit 1mil subs rlly soon (remember this comment when u do:))
You’re gonna be here for when we do!
If people just want the iPad and not the pencil you don’t have to get the screen protector, also if you get a paper like you loose the rich colors and good quality due to the texture and material of the screen protector
Eh? Notes should sync between Apple devices on iCloud anyway, right?
I agree probably the best part about writing is the sound of paper 😂
do you have the Paperlike?
@@hafu I don't even have an iPad lol, just meant writing in general lol.
Haha true
Your right
Would buy it right away if only i have enough money. it's too expensive that can pay my two year tuition fee. just wish to get one soon. or maybe gimmie one hahah. thanks
True for the 80 percent using netflix
Can it connect to a large monitor?
Yeah you can!
Hafu Go 😊 thanks
Everytime a reviewer complains about the glossy unnatural writing surface of iPad, I already know they're setting up to talk about Paperlike next xD
It’s true tho so many finger prints
i already have it ,the apple pencil and magic keyboard floating
How are you liking it?
Buy Paperlike with caution because it can damage your Apple Pencil’s tip and it makes it run out quickly
Yeah ur so right 😄😄😁😁
When will the schools open one on one classes then ? 😚
Never
My school is doing both online and in person
@@camrynjj6814 are u in US ?
Eric Henry yes, New York
is your iPad the 12.9 inch or 11 inch model???
Please also make video on how to apply in colleges...
I have so many!
Paper like is literally making so much money rn like it’s noting 👁👄👁
I've just bought the ipad pro 128gb and im still hesitating if I should return it and buy the ipad air 4 256gb... I'm in med school so i will use it just for note taking, lectures, lots of books and pdfs... Should i stay with the pro 128gb (is enough?) or should I buy the Ipad air 4 256 gb??
The only thing that concerns me is the storage. Is 128gb enough for just medical school stuff or do I need more than that???
Nah I say go for the ipad air 256gb because it's lighter than the ipad pro and plus it's smaller so it will be more comfortable.Thats my advise but if you game or you want 120 hz just keep the ipad pro and if run out of storage you could buy ssd or ixpand.Thats just my advise.😊
if you are a student and can buy this, why are you a student.
What do you mean?
this is like 1/50th of tuition
@@BickelJoseph and 20000000000000/50th of what remains with us
iCan't
What is better for a secondary student, mc book or ipad pro , HELP!
If I buy an iPad Pro for school, there will be no one to go to school, because my organs will not go to school with me.
Would the 12.9 be a good option if I only plan on drawing and doing art for it?
Deutsch the Dan Definitely. Screen is bigger and makes it much easier to draw compared to the 11
WHATS thz app you’re using
Well now I only need the money haha💔
haha fingers crossed for Christmas
