The Diamond DA40 is simply a great super modern single engine aircraft to fly, having an extremely reliable, quiet engine and very low consumption. A great video - Congratulations!
Nice Job, Micke. Some feedback: Was hoping to see a briefing and interior and exterior 'walk around' the aircraft prior to departure, just like you and Martin did with the DA62. That helped provide a lot of your viewers with a better understanding of the aircraft's systems and what it looked like closeup. Also, thanks for allowing us Diamond Aircraft fans fly along with you on this trip from LOAN to Dubai. Look forward to all the other episodes!
@@MickeLang Seconded. It would be very nice to have some context about the plane and its mission. Also please include some footage pre / post flight (air ports, hotel, pre flight check, flight planing, ...) to tell a story. This is a nice cockpit only flight video. But it lacks the story telling that your videos from the ferry flight made so good.
Nice video... Could you maybe make a video, about all the organisational things, you should know about a flight like this. Or also about the "Crossing the pond" episodes. So, what things you have to know about, what are important things you should know and so on. Because it looks very professional.
Superb Video 👌🏻 As a UK modular student training on the DA-40 it’s great to see the aircraft used to these limits. Good luck and enjoy the rest of your flight training
Must say that Martin always seems to be very serious (goes with being a professional pilot/instructor), but even more unhappy sitting in the right seat :)

If only they werent so goddamn expensive
Great! I really enjoyed the six episodes of "Crossing the Pond", now you're back! Super!
Christian Steer 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼😁
@@MickeLang When I watched your Pond stuff last spring, I was weighing the pros and cons of a young 2nd hand Meridian vs. a DA62. #62.114 made it ;-)
Christian Steer No way! Congratulations!!!😍
Mega! Top Produktion Jungs, was für eine spitzen Referenz für Diamond, und die Maps im overlay, fantastisch!

benakay Thank you! Did not film the walkarounds because we wanted to focus on the in flight stuff. Next time I‘ll do ;)

This is so amazing 😍❤️ we need more of this amazing videos 👌🏻
The cockpit seems small but actually is comfortable. Have flown long distances in it without any issues.
Neville Bharucha well i’m 190cm tall and that’s pretty much the limit for the da40 and da20
Nice video! Which oxygen system do you use?
Best team ever
Thank you!!!

Pretty cool, I love It! :-)
Which Navigation App do you use on your tablet?
TomDom313 Foreflight ✈️
Has anyone flown a DA 40 across the North Atlantic?
он для них тесноват!
Jealous of European flying...but I'll get there...working on PPL. Get to enjoy the DA 40, then 42... And work on selling a kidney for a DA 62 🤤🤤
it appears that the cockpit is small and uncomfortably
Brian Guthrie Not true! Martin is 2m and I am 1,93m and we had enough space. The adjustable backrest is even a bonus!
👋👍🏻🇦🇹💎
best planes in class,,, now get the software in them that the rest of the market has
