Hey michael. Are you using the samples that come on the SPD-Sx or did you add them in? If you added them id like to get the same ones if there is a place to download them. Im getting the SPD-Sx and The 25KV this weekend. This video inspires me to Start using backing tracks during live performances.

I have quite some PlayAlong samples/tracks available for download on my Bandcamp page - michaelschack.bandcamp.com - not particular these ones, as they're my own mashup remixes of tracks I like or collaborated on as a session musician. I respect the original composers/producers of the originals and don't distribute these. Cheers!

This is just Amazing, excuse me, but I am not ashamed to say, I started learning to be a drummer in 1965 and a percussionist, and I just have purchased my first electronic drum kit by Roland the td-25kv tour kit, I love all music genra, I would have loved to be able to do what this man is doing, just want to say to all you young people out there, this is better than sliced bread, LOL, and probably 95% of U, don't know or have a Clue at least to what I'm talking about!

Roland sounds are too gimmicky. 90% of players want are large variety of real drum sounds which is why I would buy a Yamaha instead.

+Nick Genovese :Yes, also if it were me I'd have a click routed only to the headphones that synched with the samples he triggers. Although, he says there are no drums on those samples and at 1:51 he triggers a sample w/ buildup claps he's obviously not playing, just saying I think there is some time-keeping assistance probably. I'd have to for sure.

+Super Beans Indeed no click there, and in that build break those claps are fixed in one of the backing samples, so couldn't remove those as they are right in the frequency range of the synth part. So I'm doing the tom thing to give it some low end. Claps aren't drums:) Thanks for commenting! Grtz

+Nick Genovese combination of good sampling, Ableton and transfer to SPD-SX spread over 9 pads + layers. And then, live triggering, no click, no sequencing
