finally found a review normal people like me who absolutely know jackcrap (no pun intended) about cars care about! Thank God for this. I'm sold (was going to buy a fiesta anyway) but this makes me feel much better after reading all the reviews like you mentioned at the start of the vid
Thats really cheap for the features that it packs. I have a 2011 SE Fiesta and its awesome. The premium speakers have a ton of bass! I've compared it to my friends 2012 civic and 2009 corolla and those sound like total crap compared to mine. It's so fun to drive too. Go test drive one.
Okay, so as a young woman who knows NOTHING about cars, and is considering buying this car, I really appreciated this. It's a real person viewpoint. Things I actually care about. Who says sparkly? I DO! How was the audio system? Because I"m a music nerd:)
Honestly an excellent review. Nice REAL WORLD review. I like it how its 2 buddies talking about and exploring "the new car". Its not the same old same old review. Most other reviewers sound like they are reading off a script. You guys actually seem surprised as you explore the car and find things
Thanks for this review. I do actually care about things like torque, but it is still really useful to see a review like this that looks at different things than other reviews.
It gets 41 miles to the gallon. Schoolyardxgamerz is right. You would buy this for commuting in your own town back and forth to work. We would take our Ford Flex on long trips for comfort. The back seat has even more room than the front seat. it's a total trip car.
Hi there! Thanks for the nice review. I'm from Denmark and planning to buy this Ford Fiesta Titanium version. I've driven (tested) that car 2 times now, and before I watched your review, I was doubting a bit because few people told me that the car is not spacious in the backseat. I'm glad to hear from you guys that the backseat is good, and I like your review. I will get this care for sure. Too bad I can't get this American model because the European do not have the same features :(
Great review. When you do more reviews could you include night driving to showoff the interior ambient lighting, fog lights, headlights etc? Doors open and closed? I feel like a lot of reviewers don't do enough of this and there's a lot of people that drive at night due to work or just generally going out on the weekends/work nights. I am torn between the Chevrolet Sonic and this car but your review was really good and showed a lot of things I would have not looked for myself. I thought I'd dislike that it doesn't have power seats but you know; like you said, once adjusted... you never mess with it again. Again great review! It helped me out a lot :)
So this is a review by everyday people who know nothing about cars, for other everyday people who know nothing about cars. It's a pretty good idea i guess.
My grandmother bought a 2010 chevrolet impala back in 2010, and made me think of her buying her car was when he said he also checks out the back sits, all she did was get in the back sit and she was sold, so she bought it
I was gonna say, my 2011 Dodge Avenger has the e-brake handle on the center console. Alot of older cars had the e-brake as a pedal on the floor. Hell I remember when the dimmer button for the lights was on the floor and I am only 35.
Excellent review!! I want one!! How comes you dont have a number plate for the front as well as the back? Do your police officers not do speed traps that try and get you when you drive towards them?
How has your experience with the transmission been? I've been reading about DCTs and have heard people complain about Ford's transmission. Have you experienced frequent problems, odd noises, or grinding? If so, is it bad enough to merit avoiding the car?
This guy just happened to pick out the Titanium version. This Ruby Red baby outfitted as seen is close to $8500 more than the base Fiesta. The base Fiesta has manual crank up windows :D
A fellow Torrance resident like me? :D I would like to know how or where the owner of that Fiesta got those exterior graphics for the car... I actually like them, lol.
You might have also mentioned that Ford owned Aston Martin which is why they share some looks (same designers). I also wouldn't say you don't know what torque is, because that's the "force" that moves the car down the road. More torque == being able to cruise in 5th gear without constantly changing gears because of a small hill. :-)
I wish they said the price. From what I can tell this is a top tier version. Don't worry I'll see what it costs, it just would have been nice to know. Also the all the niceties you show are not standard. But overall you guys thought as the average costumer who knows just the basics of cars. Great! And hopefully more car reviews?? Lol
It has a hand brake because it's available with a clutch. There is no room for a foot brake in the pedal box. The reason most American cars don't have handbrakes is because they aren't available with a clutch.
Mine was loose as well. Check out yhe console on the back seats side, there are a couple of screws (one of each side) I tightened them and problem solved. You will only need an hexagonal wrench
i dont understand why people review subcompacts with upgraded packages, and then call it affordable. for $20,000 you could get a much better car with more features.
You can get decently bigger car with ZERO features for that price. $20k on a sub compact is fully loaded, with every bell and whistle you can think of. Nobody is holding a gun to your head to get those options, mind you.
My mom bought this car here in brazil. It is the top version, here we pay much more to have a car, MUCH more. And the top version here in brazil has not the multimedia Central, has not the start button, has not the colorful lights in the interior, and the interior is not so good as the one in the video. and here it is sold as a premium hatch.
Chill. This was supposed to be from the view of someone who knows nothing about cars (Pretty much every car buyer). Things like color or interior design/comfort may not be important to you, but its very important to the average car buyer.
this is an economy car, it's better off as an automatic. If you want a manual get a sports car. The point of this car is to get you to point A to point B
mine also has powerfold mirrors, Auto defrost windscreen, Auto dimming rear view mirror, tinted rear windows, heated seats etc and a sexy woman in the passenger seat..that's because i drive a £15,199 2013 fiesta ST.
You've completely missed the point of the whole video. Nice one. They're getting a normal guy to review it instead of an 'expert' who would beat around the bush and ignore all the points that the average consumer wants to hear about.
that other dude is complaining about too much cheap plastic in the car... you get what you pay for, the cheap plastic keeps the price down, if you're looking for luxury get a bmw or mercedes. I'd much rather have that "cheap plastic" look and save and extra 2-3k on interior cosmetics.
finally found a review normal people like me who absolutely know jackcrap (no pun intended) about cars care about! Thank God for this. I'm sold (was going to buy a fiesta anyway) but this makes me feel much better after reading all the reviews like you mentioned at the start of the vid
it's close but not uncomfortable. Try sitting in one at a ford dealer and let me know. They come out this summer.
Completely in love with this car since it came out in 2010. Hopefully this is the year I'll get one.
hahahaha. yeah. big difference. Things are going great. This is my "on the go" channel. Thanks for watching.
Okay, so as a young woman who knows NOTHING about cars, and is considering buying this car, I really appreciated this. It's a real person viewpoint. Things I actually care about. Who says sparkly? I DO! How was the audio system? Because I"m a music nerd:)

Its not the same old same old review. Most other reviewers sound like they are reading off a script. You guys actually seem surprised as you explore the car and find things
because it looks lame without some details. I was given a few choices and that's the best choice from what I could put on the car.
I love your brother's reviewing style. He's so practical.
Thanks for this review. I do actually care about things like torque, but it is still really useful to see a review like this that looks at different things than other reviews.

Good review, even with the door-slamming and manhandling of car parts. Is the color race red or ruby red?
So this is a review by everyday people who know nothing about cars, for other everyday people who know nothing about cars. It's a pretty good idea i guess.
no. It was filmed in Cypress, CA
Hi! Could you please confirm that the color is the "ruby red" ? Thanks!!!
Good review. Like the two normal Joes going over it
My grandmother bought a 2010 chevrolet impala back in 2010, and made me think of her buying her car was when he said he also checks out the back sits, all she did was get in the back sit and she was sold, so she bought it

I have a 2011 light blue fiesta. Its my baby :)
Excellent review!! I want one!!
How comes you dont have a number plate for the front as well as the back? Do your police officers not do speed traps that try and get you when you drive towards them?
That was fun, love seeing you two together!
I read it wrong I thought this was your cooking show channel. Love your cooking shows sorry jack
Titanium
you forgot to show us the cargo space with the sits folded down, which i was looking forward to.
How has your experience with the transmission been? I've been reading about DCTs and have heard people complain about Ford's transmission. Have you experienced frequent problems, odd noises, or grinding? If so, is it bad enough to merit avoiding the car?

I don't do car reviews. I do food, but when FORD gives you a car to drive for 8 months and pays for your gas, they deserve some attention.
Thank you for the nice review. I'm in Canada and patiently awaiting for this car to hit the lot in early July. :-) I will do a test drive then.
i can definitely relate to what you said in the beginning about torque. i don't even know what that shit means.
A fellow Torrance resident like me? :D I would like to know how or where the owner of that Fiesta got those exterior graphics for the car... I actually like them, lol.
You might have also mentioned that Ford owned Aston Martin which is why they share some looks (same designers). This guy w/you is such a DAD! That's awesome! Dad's always look for the stuff to keep their kids safe. :) Great review.
By any chance was the test drive portion of this film taken in San Jose somewhere near the airport?
Did you purposely ordered it automatic or did they send it like that, because personally I prefer manual.
You may know the brazilian version of this car. Make this version on video looks like a dream
Shane, this is not only a good first car, but a fat guy like me has room in it. Very surprising and $40 to fill it up.
Awesome review.
honestly they email me and I deleted their email twice thinking it was fake. Finally they proved they were the real deal and the rest is history. LOL
Hey i was just wondering what model was this Ford Fiesta?
Is it ecoboost?
I wish they said the price. From what I can tell this is a top tier version. Don't worry I'll see what it costs, it just would have been nice to know. Also the all the niceties you show are not standard. But overall you guys thought as the average costumer who knows just the basics of cars. Great! And hopefully more car reviews?? Lol
so what your saying is he looks like Steve Jobs.
they lay completely flat but will split up so that someone can still sit in the back
what are you talking about. I was not at a RUclips convention.
I know what an aston marton is and that is why I mentioned the front end looks like one.
Does the basic version has the camera monitor?
Question--does the backup camera give you gridlines that move depending on how you turn your wheel?
it's the Titanium 2014 Ford Fiesta
does it have enough head room in the back seats? at 4:43 it looks like his head is about to hit the roof of the car
How much does it cost to put a full tank of gas in it?
I have 60k on my cooking show and almost 10k on my jack on the go. It's the biggest it's every been. What are you talking about?
I really like this car and I'm gonna buy one
Is this the titanium or the st?
Great, I can't decide between this or the Mazda 3.
Thanks Jack :(
I would hope to see the back cargo space with seat down and how can it config....
that is so okay. That's why I write you back so you know what's up. It's all good.
Its a decent car, but why do you have go faster stripes?
no it doesn't.
I might be lucky enough to have this or the SE model as a first car! (I'm 14)
?What did the previous ford fiesta model look like
yay, Charles is awesome
call it what you want. I got it for free to drive for 8 months and they pay for all my gas.
So you literally know nothing about cars but youre doing a car review, atleast mention the statistics like the 0-60
love cam infront of the wheel you can see what happening back great
the dreaded curse of being tall in the legs i feel your pain
It has a hand brake because it's available with a clutch. There is no room for a foot brake in the pedal box. The reason most American cars don't have handbrakes is because they aren't available with a clutch.
ruby red
Jack, how much did it cost?
chris96donado its free
Love the led
Did he say he doesn't know who Aston Martin are?
i own a fiesta like this,it has many issues with the electric steering wheel...
fiesta owners. does the armrest on your console rock left to right or has mine come loose? i know it's normal for it to move up/down a little.
Mine was loose as well. Check out yhe console on the back seats side, there are a couple of screws (one of each side) I tightened them and problem solved. You will only need an hexagonal wrench
I have no problem with mine but can't figure out voice comments
I can't figure out voice command or the phone
i dont understand why people review subcompacts with upgraded packages, and then call it affordable. for $20,000 you could get a much better car with more features.

bigger car for your ego or small car for your wallet?

I just found out that it costs 20.000, you put 3.000 and you can get a Ford Mustang. I think it worth the 3.000 more for the mustang.
Chill. This was supposed to be from the view of someone who knows nothing about cars (Pretty much every car buyer). Things like color or interior design/comfort may not be important to you, but its very important to the average car buyer.
After your rewiew I want to buy this car :)
Has that guy ever been in a new car?
that was not a full spare tire , it's a space saver .
the cabin sounds a little noisy when he started driving, i prefer the quieter GM cars nowadays.
What happened to all your subscribers?
this is an economy car, it's better off as an automatic. If you want a manual get a sports car. The point of this car is to get you to point A to point B
What's with the awful stickers, is it a demo car or something?
just because its not a sports car dosent mean it cant be a standart
got 2 words in and stopped reading
mine also has powerfold mirrors, Auto defrost windscreen, Auto dimming rear view mirror, tinted rear windows, heated seats etc and a sexy woman in the passenger seat..that's because i drive a £15,199 2013 fiesta ST.
How do you like your FiST? I'm actually thinking of buying either a FiST or a Cooper S.
Love it live in argyle and bute in scotland and my commute to work in Glasgow became fun so now love monday mornings,
where are you from? the 2013 fiesta st doesn't exist in america. wasn't brought here till 2014.
The auto has been known to grown and behave strange at low speeds.
Your friend was really aggressive on the different parts, it's a car, not a nokia. This review is ok.
I don't understand why all Americans drive Automatic transmission... Is it laziness?
Auto aren't as economical
***** Maybe :/ :)
He doesnt know what an Astor Marin is?????
You've completely missed the point of the whole video. Nice one. They're getting a normal guy to review it instead of an 'expert' who would beat around the bush and ignore all the points that the average consumer wants to hear about.
that other dude is complaining about too much cheap plastic in the car... you get what you pay for, the cheap plastic keeps the price down, if you're looking for luxury get a bmw or mercedes. I'd much rather have that "cheap plastic" look and save and extra 2-3k on interior cosmetics.
I want a car now :(
its actually aston martin
Don't get this car in automatic. The dual-clutch transmission is garbage. Get it in a manual and you'll be set with one of the best hatchbacks.
an m3 or an amg is like 4 to 5 times more expensive...
Better take the family everywhere you can go. *wink* *wink*
That voice is Siri.
