If you like driving, get the Fiesta! I cross-shopped the Fiesta against the Accent/Rio before deciding on the Fiesta.. here's what I found. The Accent/Rio was better in term of spec for the price, had better NVH suppression, and arguably a more elegant design whereas the Fiesta is more edgy/sporty. Where the Fiesta eclipsed the competitors was in driving dynamics. It's handling, high speed stability, braking and ride quality were a step above. If you love to drive, its the only subcompact choice
Crashed my '13 Civic and got the '14 Titanium Fiesta 4 door 5-speed manual. About 4 or 5 months into ownership and I'm really happy with it. The interior is really nice with a good amount of technology for how cheap these are. Only gripe is that the shifts are pretty damn long but it's not that big of a deal.
Modern engines are already broken-in at the factory. It does no harm to it to simply test the engine's acceleration during the test drive. We strongly encourage it. Now, that's not to say you should be drag racing the engine while on a test drive, but there is nothing wrong with some heavier throttle applications to test the vehicle passing ability. Otherwise, how else would you know if the car has enough power for you?
Thank you for all the information! I'm looking into buying the 2015 Ford Fiesta Titanium Hatch, yet this helped answer a lot of questions I had regarding the Fiesta line, that the Ford website didn't answer. Thank you!
Best car on its class, more like a subcompact aston martin, won international engine of the year award 3 years in a row 2O12-14. got five stars on Euro Ncap Safety Rating, 2O14 Automotive Excellence Award for Handling, Won Car of the Year by Topgear and more than 22 other awards and ford used to own Jaguar & Aston martin. Check all VS youtube videos with fiesta included on it and fiesta always wins
It is. The engine is phenomenal, run on the right octane fuel it is a technological marvel. I've had the 125bhp Titanium European spec ecoboost for two weeks now and it's a total blast to drive. If you floor it it's a pocket rocket, I had a bit of fun with a BMW 3 series driver on a twisty North Yorkshire road the other day who thought he had the right to run me off the road. He was nearly in my boot so I floored it to get rid of him and the turbo kicked into overboost and I left him for dead. On the other hand, if you feather the accelerator around town and keep the revs down its very economical. The handling is just superb and it has all the comfort and equipment of a car from a larger segment. No brainer in this class of car, best car Ford makes.
yeah that's cheap. I paid more a little more than that for my '05 Focus recently. All records as well from original owner. But it's an automatic. But only 34700 original miles. Drives great.
We should have been more specific, we wouldn't recommend doing a 3k clutch dump on a brand new car to test the acceleration ;) but planting your foot once you've got the car going is perfectly fine.
Excellent job Sofyan. I'm surprised to see that a titanium Fiesta would have a 5-speed manual as a choice of a transmission besides the 6-speed automatic. In addition, how have things been going lately? - Michael Land
Could it be possible to get a demo of the front camera system on the new F150? I know there has recently been a review of a new F150 but the front camera wasn't demoed. Loving the reviews!
Love the design, we look forward to testing one soon. We already have our connections with Mazda but we are getting the 2014 Mazda6 later this month first, then the new Mazda3 after that.
A titanium with a 5 speed hhmm, this is probably the only sub-compact I would be buy. My grandparents neighbors have a 2010? base S sedan in red with a 5 speed and manual crank windows. Do they still have the manual windows and such on the S?
I like the people pointing and looking at you in the end...pretty funny. I am looking at a used 2014 fiesta titanium in this same color. Leather, nav, sunroof,etc....sucks it's a sedan. But it has 19k miles and is certified pre owned. 5spd manual as well $11900. But they have had it for over 6 mos. I may offer 10500 and see what happens...a ton of conte t for the money
How does the smaller My Touch screen on the Fiesta feel as compared to the Ford Focus My Touch? Did you find yourself as comfortable hitting selections on the screen?
Considering buying a Fiesta auto, but the mid-range SE variant doesn't have the option of back-up camera or parking sensors, both of which are available on the Titanium. It is a tad expensive, but one does get a lot of kit for the money.
Watched this video and bought a car that's the clone of the car in the review, with the same option (nav), 5 speed manual and without the sunroof. It's just what I was looking for in a second "fun" car.
I've driven a Blaze Yellow manual SES before, and loved every minute of it. however, I felt like the car was so skinny I was knocking the passengers knees when in 5th gear. I miss the yellow color :-(
I wish I had more goodies in my 2012 Fiesta. But I purchased what they had in their inventory and was not approved for financing on the brand new 2014 models.
i think if i had to get anything in this class i'd opt for a fit or fiesta. in my opinion i'll trade those tech features and some padding for better handling and way more interior volume. i had to live with a sonic for a week and then one of these at the auto show and the interior made me feel like i was going to suffocate.
5:46 - Isn't a rear view camera required on all 2014 and newer models? It isn't that "Ford finally got a rearview camera", its that that ALL cars have it now right?
Please give me a reason why I should get a fiesta over Accent.. I would really want Fiesta but my friends are getting Accent just because of the Diesel Engine.
Being a smaller car it should be cheaper, less metals to make it. Pairing a mobile device for music is a default feature every car should have and it's perfect for a small driver. Plenty of space for a Tesla charger. As a bigger estate it has also four wheel screws, which seem to be enough compared to car weight. Must have new navigation features, which are offered by google.
I do happen to drive the 2014 Ford Fiesta. But in SE trim and a Sedan version. i can say that this car does have room in the front but when it comes to rear seat comfort it can get cramped. The cars interior i would say has a nice look for the pricing and the options you do get with it. its somewhat disappointing though that you only can get the My Ford Touch with the Hatchback version of the car. Otherwise i do like the car.

Don't buy one with a dual clutch transmission.
Crashed my '13 Civic and got the '14 Titanium Fiesta 4 door 5-speed manual. About 4 or 5 months into ownership and I'm really happy with it. A 1.0L Ecoboost 3-cyl will be available in the fall.
Yep.
Thank you for all the information! I'm looking into buying the 2015 Ford Fiesta Titanium Hatch, yet this helped answer a lot of questions I had regarding the Fiesta line, that the Ford website didn't answer. Thank you!
I love this car. I think it is one of those hidden values.

I really enjoy your reviews...very knowledgeable & informative!
That seems like a sweet little car to whip around town in.
The turbo model should be a blast.
The stick is good and fun to drive. The auto I would skip. Sticker prices are irrelevant. You can get them for 3-4$K off these.
truth! Im considering a 1 owner 2012.. 80k 1 owner manual guy had all the service records and is asking $4400.. Not bad
yeah that's cheap. I paid more a little more than that for my '05 Focus recently. All records as well from original owner. But it's an automatic. But only 34700 original miles. Drives great.
Thank you so much for doing a manual review
I'm living in Brazil, and this car here hasn't any of these add ons. Even in the Titanium version, doesn't have a multimidea display !
I really enjoy just how thorough you are on the interior. I always enjoy your videos! Thanks

Do you know when your meant to get the 1.0 Ecoboost? I've heard its a great new engine. 1.6 petrol is quite a big engine for a smaller car.
This Car Won’t Blow You Away.
The ST trim is one hot pocket rocket
The titanium badge on the Fiesta looks just fine to me because it's the same one that's also used for the Focus version of it too.

Fiesta ST's are all in transit to dealerships right now. We expect one to show up by next month hopefully :)
How does someone dislike this video he's such a nice guy
As soon as it lands at the dealership of course ;) we are awaiting one... anxiously lol
I love how you drive with the fog lights
Love the design, we look forward to testing one soon. We already have our connections with Mazda but we are getting the 2014 Mazda6 later this month first, then the new Mazda3 after that.
props on the radio station choice!
I agree. More expensive cars have 2 horn speakers -- one for a high tone and one for a low tone. Less expensive have 1 horn speaker.
Excellent review. I came to own a 2012 Fiesta S, which is the base model and maybe will trade up for the 2014 Titanium in the next 12 months.
I feel the same as you do, I never floor my car, no need for it and it has lasted me a very long time w/0 any major engine or transmission issues
I considered this car too, but I choose the Civic. Nice car though. At the last 2 auto shows, the Ford's interiors look amazing and not cheap at all!
Good Review Of 2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium. 😀
Yep.
Didn't you guys do a video on that subject? I was never able to find it. Is there a link?
This is definitely the trim level I want. Does this have ecoboost technology?
Another great review! That Titanium badge on the back just looks a little awkward.
Your videos are great. Keep up the fantastic work!
When will you be able to post a video of the Ford Fiesta ST?? Im looking into getting one and can't find much video info on one

Love what they've done with it! Its jumped to be one of my favorite Fords :P

no
LexusboyLS I seriously hope you didn’t buy it, or at least not the auto version.
lol... 13:54 the couple in the blue honda civic seemed to notice something
My barbershop is literally across the street from this dealership :D good ole Annandale
I really enjoy just how thorough
Nice review, helped me make a decision on a vehicle, thank you!
Im about to go pick my up sometime this week !
we in europe get the 1 liter 3 cylinder ecoboost with 125 hp and does 23 km/L
54 mpg
what about the versa ?
or sonic?
or spark?
and whats your opinion on Dual Clutch autos?
Great review
What do you guys think about the new mazda 3?
Watched this video and bought a car that's the clone of the car in the review, with the same option (nav), 5 speed manual and without the sunroof. It's just what I was looking for in a second "fun" car.
I've driven a Blaze Yellow manual SES before, and loved every minute of it. however, I felt like the car was so skinny I was knocking the passengers knees when in 5th gear.
I miss the yellow color :-(
It's ammusing how the a under 20k car has a back up camera but the 34k genesis coupe ultimate doesn't......
I wish I had more goodies in my 2012 Fiesta. But I purchased what they had in their inventory and was not approved for financing on the brand new 2014 models.
when will you start getting STs?
When are you going to review the st model
You should do the 2013 hyundai elantra with a stick! It is better! Or do the coupe
Getting the 1.0 ecoboost anytime soon? Just wondering.
Would you rather have a fusion?
when are you uploading the elantra coupe???
May you please do a review of the 2013 nissan altima 2.5sl!?!?!
i think if i had to get anything in this class i'd opt for a fit or fiesta. in my opinion i'll trade those tech features and some padding for better handling and way more interior volume. i had to live with a sonic for a week and then one of these at the auto show and the interior made me feel like i was going to suffocate.
Do you buy the cars? Or does the dealership let you borrow them?
Btw, there is another subcompact hot hatch the VW polo gti, though I know it's not available in North America.
5:46 - Isn't a rear view camera required on all 2014 and newer models? It isn't that "Ford finally got a rearview camera", its that that ALL cars have it now right?
Nice review
Fantastic review :)
I totaly wanna lease the 6speed st in envy green with the recaro package. :D
Any luck finding a CR-Z?
You should start beeping the horn in each car you test, so we get to see if it sounds cheap or premium
Can you do a launch start with any car please and thank you
any news on the 1.0 ecoboost?
the clutch is pretty nice for a small car. vs the 2013 Dart I am driving it's like I feel I am going to slam my foot through the firewall.
It's my car!!!! Only difference is that mine has black leather interior and it's an automatic. :)
How do you like it? I plan to get it in 2 weeks...
does the inside only look like this in the usa? cause in uk it looks different?
Can you please do a Subaru Legacy please I love your reviews
Hey Sofyan could you tour the updated 13 kia soul:)
Please give me a reason why I should get a fiesta over Accent.. I would really want Fiesta but my friends are getting Accent just because of the Diesel Engine.

Is this Titanium or Titanium X???Can you make a Titanium X review plz :)?
I definitely agree.
the 2013 version didn't have handles in the top of the doors for any of the seats, very annoying for the copilot seat, does this one have them?
Can you review the chrysler 300?
Review the Infinity Q50 RWD or AWD with adaptive steering please.
Can you do an S model as well, @2theRedlineLLC ?
Can you get a new Chevy Silverado?
I know that. I meant like the placement of it, where it is at. It looks wayyy too large for the back of the Fiesta in my opinion.
Great job
Can u do this trim level in the sedan and automatic transmission pleass.
This fiesta reminds me of the old SVT Focus
Anyone notice the high pitched chime from the 13 is gone
Go for the stick shift/manual. The automatic has too many problems and is horrible on hills.
I haven't heard of a push button ignition issue.
i heard abou thte tranny problems, i guess, it only happens for hte auto one?
isnt drag racing and testing the accleration basically the same thing? lol. as long as the engine oil is warmed up.
lol at the end. The people watching you in the Civic
Those wheels look SO SO small!
I do happen to drive the 2014 Ford Fiesta. But in SE trim and a Sedan version. i can say that this car does have room in the front but when it comes to rear seat comfort it can get cramped. I have the same car love it quick runs great no Ford my touch don't no what it is and don't need it back seat is a little small though
Where's the 1.0 review? I testdrove the three-cylinder and thought it was good, but I'd like to hear your opinion too. :-)
Ford should be sending us one soon to test so stay tuned :)
Shame the US doesn't the EcoBoost Titanium...
I know that the 6 speed auto trans is shit in this car but how are the 5 speed manuel transmissions
Much better, makes this a great car to drive!
Watching now 2019, because someone is selling his 2014 ford fiesta for $6,500 is still a good used car to buy? Thanks
BTW I've never seen a car that only has an on/off heated seat control button...
