He went to a drag racing shop, drag cars only need to do some corrections on the straights, then turn around at the end of the track. It was a damn bad choice to go to a drag racing shop for something drag people don't really care about.

I used to have a v6 accord coupe 08 it was fun I cut off the resonators and muffler “I left cars on” bought some eBay mufflers and it sounded really good! Wasn’t the fastest car but it moved for a v6 Honda
Yea cd009's are chattery but its more in feel than it is loudness. That was deff smacking around. The chatter from the cd009 for me is really felt in either the shifter or clutch pedal. I believe its the flywheel. Not 100% sure though
I think Jimmy Oakes has some sort of angle and steering set up for ones of his honda swaps and he drifted it. So maybe check it out if the original plan of drifting it is still on.
Won't really help in this situation since Jimmy was running S chassis cross member etc and KA24 engine in the civic, so everything fits factory. Only thing he did was extend LCA and moved rack forward 1 inch.
100% you should have offset where it bolts onto the hub (the tie rod ends), you are putting massive sideways strain on the rack and you'll end up damaging it. I understand you guys are just doing the best you can, only a suggestion :)

Yes this is true but generally leads to “knock retard” almost all computers have a fail safe so if it sees knock, ping, or pre detonation of fuel it will retard timing and you can tell pretty quick by feel. :)
You guys should look into a electric power steering unit from a Chevy equinox. They mount inline with the steering column so conversion should be pretty easy.
melt down some damaged pistons and pour the molten aluminum into the ant nest! its a win-win. you kill the ant colony and make some awesome art at the same time
Those knuckles are shortened n dude told him even if he put stock ones back on he probably wouldn't have much turning radius cuz of having to move it so far forward but that would have fixed the dead zone
i wish I didnt have to agree but yeah I agree. Big boost for a drift car is going to make it very very hard to pitch through a corner at low speed. You are going to have to hit every turn at 80+mph and its gonna be a butthole pucker-fest. I got my popcorn tho I wanna see this.

It will never really ever make it to drift anyway.....maybe make a test day or 2 drag racing and break some axles, then just sit and rot some place....have an update on it every 6 months with no progress.....

4:45 throw in a DC/DC 12VDC->13.8VDC buck converter inline and it'll smooth out the required voltage whenever the line's pulled high.

they investigated that area for a noise and didnt note the U joint so its most likely old wear and tear that theyve sorted out
I definitely recommend to use nordlock washers under off those tierod relocating partbolts. Those are quite cheap lifeinsurance :)

There is such thing as rich knock you know ....it's where the fuel puddles on the piston and can blow an engine 🔥

You can use an LED flasher relay to fix the weird flasher behavior under a certain voltage. They require very low voltage to flash

Man those offset rack spacers are terrifying. They’re gonna put a ton of leverage on the rack and rip out under stress.
That steering mod (bodge) has no structural integrity whatsoever. Good job steering isn’t safety critical.
