First time I seen Jason really go in on a burnout lol. One of the most humble dudes you’ll ever meet. He even went out his way to bring me an oil pan when I fucked mine up at the track. Welded a baffle for me and everything. Amazing person.

It’s funny, I’m 62 years old, within the last year or so I’m getting into the S2000 and MR2 thing. Better late then never, great car and the workmanship is amazing keep up the great work.

I remember like 3 months ago I made a comment complaining that there weren’t enough hit markers in a video and the next had a necessarily excessive amount of them and it was awesome

This is probably one of the cleanest engine swap turbo setup I've seen in an s2000...the symmetrical twin turbo setup in this looks better than the Nissan GT-R factory symmetrical setup to me.
My OCD thanks you for building this S2000.
Mirror image turbos are they way everyone should do there twin turbo setups it looks so good

Seen this thing in person at HDAY fall 2017. The video doesn't do the paint color justice, and the engine setup is hands down the cleanest, best looking setup I have ever seen. Ever. Not just cars I've seen in person. This car is a work of art.
This S2K is first a piece of art, second a racecar
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the S2000 (not a big import guy in general) but I have to give this guy a lot of respect for doing this thing up right. The attention to detail on this build is amazing. It's clear he put a ton of work and thought into it, and it came out really sharp.
Favorite part is the motor because I own a 2003 TL type-S. J32A2. Where is Nads for this honda?

The j32 is like 25lbs lighter than the j35 used in odyssey/pilot(?)/mdx
But, I do love me some j-series...got the j35a5 myself; beast for torque (especially with AWD) [&like 4.5 tons of chassis, lol]

I see a cool air intake. Its got a Nos fogger system and a T4 turbo, Dominic. I see an AIC controller. It has direct-port nitrous injection. Dom- Yeah, and a stand alone fuel management system. Not a bad was to spend 10,000 dollars.

Love the symmetrical turbos. Even Hoonicorn v2 doesn't have mirrored turbos, but this s2k just nails everything.

No, find a J35A3 out of a 2001-2002 MDX, and put some Type S cams to put in, and you'll still be able to make a lot of power from the headers. Oddy has the casted headers, and headers make a lot of power on these J's!
VR30 is a better choice, can make 600whp on stock block
450+ hp on stock internals... Damn that’s crazy a J32 can hold all that power I thought J35 were the only ones capable of holding that much on stock internals
Pretty sure there's a dude featured on 1320 pushing 1000+ hp on a stock internal J series

Ligma Survivor incorrect. Aaron O’Neil at English racing has opened the market for j series dramatically. The variety is slim, but whole rotating assemblies and head components are all available and have been for some time through tbmotorworx. That being said j series hold power well, and so do their stock transmissions. My personal favorite of all Honda power plants

WezleyB well I’m personally fwd 98-02 style accord coupe built j35 swap so I had a j series factory. In this case for high power I’m guessing. An f20 at 6-800whp (idk what his goals are but Obviously no less if he’s already at 500) won’t hold together as long stock as a j and he was saying he would be “turning it up” after sema

That pearl on the carbon trunk was such a good touch I’m honestly surprised I don’t see more people doing it, it keeps the nice carbon look but doesn’t stand out too much

Not only do I love all you guys and have been watching since your inception... I absolutely fucking love the direction your taking the channels and the brand.... but no where near as much as I love that bloody s2000... and that exhaust note, dang man.... that's the bollocks.

ooh! Finally a car that I've seen in person! It's not often you see something east coast on this channel. I had the pleasure of seeing this car at a Clean Culture event at Pocono this past summer. Really awesome car, the symmetry is soooooo satisfying. I missed the radiators when i saw it though lol.

They have been floating the idea since the nsx is out of most people's price range. And they're bringing back the type s line to Acura with turbo 3.0 v6 engine for tlx rlx and the mdx.. so I wouldn't be surprised if the repurpose the engine and rwd setup to make a Honda sport car to be a mini halo car cheaper than nsx.. prob go head to head with the new supra or corvette for price..

It's so refreshing to see a build with an engine from the same manufacturer as the chassis - Seriously! Dude took what HONDA had to offer to create a serious ass build for his Honda! Props!!!!

He's talking about reliability, when he calls it junk dummy. Nobody said anything about power. Also, there is 2500hp honda motors nowadays with turbo strapped to them, and they are more reliable than most American engines.

Fav s2k I’ve ever seen. The plumbing is absolutely flawless. No wasted energy whatsoever. The cage though, holy fuck that cage is unbelievable.

Luc Leclair rotarys are a love hate thing. They sound rad but definitely can get a little annoying if you drive one daily. They’re loud as hell, get shit mileage and burn your eyes😂 I prefer rb’s jz’s and 3sgte’s
love when people add that little extra with mirrored turbo! Otherwise, it's something I normally disturb when it's not symmetrical when everything else in an engine compartment is so well made 😅
“I built that, I welded this” damn dude, I cannot even imagine the hours he must have spent on welding and planning the parts. I know that I would give it up halfway through. And I gotta be honest, this guy looks like he would let a company built his car, but when it turns out that he did all the major parts all by himself? Big respect for him and his car, he really has made me motivated into finally getting a welding permit. (dunno how it translates, but in here you have to have specific welding-class permits or training for each material or welding technology.)
I wish I could afford something like that. I'm 20 and have a 1986 Honda Accord lx-i with 102k miles with the front end smashed in.

That's also where you can see my 1990 bronco 2 build where we are taking the 2.9L out and putting in a 5.0L from a 98 explorer and we are going to lower it on 20x10 wheels in the back and 18x8 in the front.

This is...thee...best...S2000...ever! The paint job, the symmetry of the turbos exposed through the hood, and piping work. Everything just flows together. Its tricky to make an S2k look good. 9/10 I've seen where a mod just ruined the car. However, this one is an exception.

I cant wait to finally get financially THERE. I’ve been working my ass off and looking at vehicles to work on since freshman year of high school and trying to get a good ass paying job so I can finally get my project car. I just graduated from UTI and am starting my new job here on Monday but I have to start at a shitty pay rate until I work my way up to a decent salary. It sucks, I’ve been waiting patiently for six years to get a cool car going and I still gotta wait hella longer. Feels like I’m never gonna get there sometimes but I haven’t given up hope yet. Someday, I will own a badass car that I built and will be proud of. Can’t wait any longer 😆
