Chatzi is a 6month old Bengal boy. This is part one of a series of feline cat behaviour films looking in detail into his introduction to a house with another Bengal cat called Freya and a Mixed Breed Moggy called Teego

I don't think it fits very well. It's a cross of documentary and just talking into a camera.
I think the narration may have been what kept me watching, it was kind of relaxing.

It is very easy when you own cats. I've never had a dog but I've always had cats so I can easily read a cats body language but not so much a dogs.

Probably for breeding. Freya was also used for breeding, so he probably doesn't want this kitten to be abused as well. The males are usually in worse health since the females need to be in good enough health to give birth.

Celeste Cosimini that shit needs to be cleaned up don’t normalize that... litter can home many parasites, bacteria and disease that can be harmful for the owner and the cat... gotta keep up good maintenance of the litter box as a responsible cat owner. We don’t just let our toilet bowls overflow and say ah fuck it, I don’t mind, this is a human room...

@@SonicFan147 It might work but probably only somewhat, unfortunately. Some kitties tend to get the litter between their paws and track it elsewhere far from the litter box. This room is probably made to be a room specifically for storage and for the cats to have personal space, it seems that way at least.
I love how the rescue contacted an experienced bengal owner instead of adopting her out to anyone who offered. Very responsible.

I recently adopted a 7 month old female Bengal from the shelter. They need constant attention, they are very intelligent, they are quite vocal about everything and are pretty much just assholes. I love this cat.

This isn't just cat entertainment. The narrator does a great job of defining key feline behaviors when with one another. Bravo! Saved.
I don't agree that the lowering of the cats head is a sign a submissiveness. My older cat kicks my younger cats ass by doing this. The younger goes for the neck, while my older ones goes for underneath and grabs hold and kicks the crap out of the younger one with hind legs. My younger cat is a bully and attacks the older one who is passive but will win. He proved it one day when he had finally enough of the attacks, I heard the fight start and then it went quiet. I looked and the younger one is laying on his back and the older one has him across the throat. Neither one was moving a muscle, no tail wags, just enlarged pupils and a blank stare. It didn't teach the younger one anything. He continues to bully the older one.
Plus the tail swishing and having their tails low to the ground means they're unconfident tail swishing is also means that they're agitated and feeling anxious or upset this guy really doesn't know what he's talking about

Yes, along with wrapping the cats head to tail in duct tape. With their legs and tails pinned to their bodies, they are very calm indeed except at the mouth. Plus they can then just be rolled around the room as desired.

Introducing cats to each other seems much more difficult than introducing dogs to each other
kingbucky6 That's because house cats aren't really that domesticated. They only evolved to live with us during the agricultural revolution, so they still have wild instincts left over. Meanwhile, the grey wolf evolved to be more capable of living amongst humans during the hunter-gatherer era of humanity. When we became agrarian about 5-10k years ago, dogs had already been an essential part of human life, so we usually feel sympathy for them, even if we don't need them for practical reasons.
They aren't pack animals, so yeah.
