- This was my first car meet back in America after moving to Thailand. I am on a one month vacation back in the US and I decided to go to one of my favorite car meets in Texas, "Pistons At The Park". It was great to be back to check out this monthly car show after moving to Thailand. I love cas, and this show has such a huge variety. Everything from an original DeLorean DMC12, to classic Muscle cars, JDM cars, lowriders, motorcycles, even an amazing GTP style car. This show has it all, and it was great to catch up with the people I know back in the US while enjoying this local car meet in Austin, Texas. There were at least 200 cars at this monthly car meet, even though it was looking like it might rain on us. Join me as I give you a guided tour of an American car meet in Texas. As always the cars at this meet were superb!

I loved this man, it's so nice to see the contrast in the car shows and your knowledge is incredible. Thanks for sharing man!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your knowledge on cars is amazing Serg . What a great day out that was . The Deloran 👏👏 ahh the 80s what a movie that was . Still enjoy it today .
Thanks, Jimmy! Yeah, the DeLorean is a design that still holds up extremely well today
6:27 Mon Jun 17th 2024. Good Morning 🌞 Serg, From Gilbert AZ USA 🇺🇸. OMG great car show. I'm totally drowling. Those cars are just amazing. I'm glad you're enjoying your visit to this car 🚗 show. You look so happy. Stay safe and Healthy Blessings and Happy Adventures. Great video 🎥. Keep up the great work. Can't wait for your next 🎥 video.
It was great to go back to the show. I have one more video from the US, and I’ve already recorded a couple of videos here in Thailand. See you soon!
Nice, man! Looks like you have a lot of knowledge about cars ❤
I’ve loved cars since I was probably four or five years old. Glad you enjoyed this video.
Hey Serg, I really enjoyed that! You know your cars! 👍 A fellow American expat living in Thailand too. Nice episode.
Glad you enjoyed this episode. I really loved that local car meet.
That was awesome mate, some real cool cars there, a little bit like the scene here in Australia... Sweet!
Yah I need to get over there!
Long time no see the "carburetor" nice.......... 😁👍👍
Lolll. I noticed I mispronounced several words I don’t use often anymore. Lol. I blame it on living in Thailand. 555
Nice video Serg! Definitely a different grouping of cars then what you see in Thailand. The Delorean is such a cool looking car!
Yeah it was a great meet. The DeLorean really is a timeless classic.
This looks like the typical car show here in Wisconsin. If your ever over this way definitely check out the "Iola Car show", it's one of the largest in the Midwest with a giant swap meet too!!
Good to know, thanks!
I still like that PT Cruiser. Almost bought one when I was living in Texas, but my mom wouldn't let me lol 😂
Great clip; thank you Serg 😊🙏👍
I have no idea why I said PT Cruiser, that’s a Prowler with a Lamborghini scissor door kit on it. Glad you enjoyed this video.
@@LifewithSerg right it's Plymouth Prowler 😁
Hey, Serg I was a young man working at my Grandpa's auto dealership, and I remember when the DeLorean came out at the nearby Ford Dealership. I wanted it so bad but 25K, was too rich for me that was nearly 4 times normal car prices then.
That design still holds up today. Such a cool car.
Think it was a 73 Stingray split bumper is in Top 5 , the DeLorean only has to go 88 MPH to get to the future 😊
Some very cool cars for sure.
Soo Much Fun 🙏🙏
It was great!
This is quiet and reserved car show compared Asia. It's like walking through a museum.
Yeah no screaming Thai models or thumping music. Besides, this wasn’t a true car show, this was a car meet. The car shows in the US will have hundreds and hundreds of cars and just thousands and thousands of people going to watch.
When we were in PA, USA we used to drive to Baltimore... Ocean City.... New Jersey....i used to stop at parking lot shows... during summer. They were amazing because those mustang builds were incredible👍
Yeah, there’s something special about parking lot car meets. You’ll see a lot of stuff that they probably wouldn’t allow at regular car shows. I love seeing peoples projects, even if they’re not complete.
Your a stone throw away from 50K Subs....congradulations ! See any Chevy Corvairs while you were there? Thanks again....Matt & Lucy (from 110F and warming up Arizona)
Hey guys! Yeah, we’re very close to 50 K. I didn’t see any Corvairs at that show. There’s actually one or two running around here in Bangkok that I’ve seen at car meets
Yep, reserved. No hot Thai car modells.
BTW, I came across a big rattlesnake In a lumber pile in our suburban Austin backyard. Which got me doing some research regarding venomous snakes in Thailand, of which there are a plethora. Even cobras found in downtown urban Bangkok around klongs,, parks, etc.Careful in your travels around Thailand. How about a vlog on the Bangkok snake center where they milk venom to make various snake antidotes?
Yah I can do without the “hot Thai models”. Lmao. I want to see cars, not girls with endless amounts of plastic surgery. lol
Good video handsome!
Aww thanks. 🐻
Any chance for a meet up with your Central Texas subscribers? I'm just up the road a few minutes and am actually off work this week.
This video was shot two weeks ago. I am now back in Thailand.
@@LifewithSerg Sorry I missed you here. Now go to bed and get some sleep. 😁
Nissan S 14
Thanks, I figured it was one of the two. 240sx in the US.
lots of car shows in thailand but not as many USA muscle cars.... enjoy ... How long are you in the USA ??
It was great to go back to this car meet. I was in America for almost a month, but I have been back in Thailand now for almost a week.
Hi Serg, did you use airline miles for the business class tickets?
No, I paid full price. It was $3400 round-trip.
My first car was a 66 nova, 66-67 nova's were trying to get some of the business away from Ford competing against the Mustang. Then came the Camaro. Just curious, How long did it take you to relearn to use turn signals after you stopped driving BMW's? 🤣
Yeah, my first car was a 1969 Mustang. Unfortunately, it was the grande and not the fastback, and had a straight six and a three speed. But as a 16 year old, it’s probably a good thing. I didn’t end up with some thing like a big block. Lol
PT Cruiser.... BRO??
Yeah, I don’t know what I was thinking. That’s a Prowler, but might as well be a PT cruiser as both are quite hideous.
Nice 👍🏻
Enjoy!
Strange how you're attracted to the strange and weird cars 😎 and you used to be an ex cop and let OJ get away my my my my my😎😁😎
Ha ha. Glad you got the OJ reference. Lol
Hm. So, you're a hot rod guy. Do you go to the shows in the West Coast, such as Reno and Alameda?
I’m actually not a hot rod guy at all. I appreciate all cars, but I would say that my favorites are European and British cars from the 50s through the 90s. I’ve definitely been to the one in Alameda, because I used to live in that area. The good guys show. It’s really good.
@@LifewithSerg I used to live east of SF near Lemoor Air Base. RU coming back to Thailand?
