- It's always fun exploring a junkyard, especially a new yard. Sometimes its sad to see these project cars get thrown away, especially the ones that could have been saved..
It was time to take the 240sx out again! We drive to a car meet / car show and check out some classic muscle cars!

really wasnt lying, he really did go to the junkyard the next day
I really wasn't lying 😅
@@PrizzaMike Heard that and was like nice, junkyard video tommorow!
Man keeps his word 👍
I was thinking the same thing lmao
We were all waiting for it
An easy way to tell the difference between 3rd gen Firebirds and 3rd gen Camaros is 3rd gen Firebirds have pop ups while the 3rd gen Camaros don't
Interesting! Thanks for the clarification!
Junkyard videos are always fun. Need to set up a little stand at car meets when you're fully done with the restore. 'This is what it was before, and this is what it is now', I would love to see everyone's reactions to that!
True! I actually did that at the clean culture event!
@@PrizzaMike those were jordan 4's in berry pink by the way they are average price and they are a valentines day limited edition they are worth the average of $100-200 which is on the low end, some shoes even go to $90K Like the Freddy Kruger dunks- Love Your Content by the way Keep It Up!!!
@@PrizzaMike Great clip Mike. Allways make some clips with junkyards because you never know what you will find, maybe some cool parts or mods & stuff ..
We love your channel, so keep doing this as long as you can.. Big Luv From Europe
The fun transitions never get old 😂
yeah
The fear of losing your tools is real! Once I nearly walked out of the yard before remembering I left my tools in a car, nearly slipped and fell a few times as I was running back
😅
Hey Mike, have you ever thought of how “the cars no-one would look at” can just suddenly be picked up headed to the crusher?😅
Just an interesting thought i had
When he started talking abt the foam in the roof of the bunks top car I knew what was coming and I verbally yelled at my phone, “they do really bad and it’s fkn annoying” 😭😭😭 12:20
Having a crap week. Been waiting for your upload for some sun in this darkness. Thanks for all the great content. You truly are appreciated so much.
If you where wondering those shoes were jordan4 true berry brand new they go for around 200$ but used they go for around 50$ or 20$ 🤓
glad to say the driver side fender on the blue subie was saved by my dad for ours🙏. love the content as always:)
0:55 that car got the drip 🥶
Hey yo Mike, I once commented to give you credit for what you and the others are doing, I'm the guy from Italy... Idk if you remember but I also said that i'm going through a hard breakup, I was in a loop of bad feelings and randomly opened youtube, after I saw you uploaded a new video my sadness went away... Thank you, really, for being one of the things that are making me happy in this tough period!
Not even gonna lie I would’ve been more geeked over the Jordan’s💀
Just watched the full 240 restoration. Love the videos man
Brother I said it 5 months ago when I didn’t have a project like yours and now I do. You inspire me to work and figure out things on my own. I have to cut and weld on my car and I was feeling down about it but I see your videos and remember anything is possible. Thank you for your content.
Last time you saw one those 4th gen celicas I commented about the one I own, now It’s sold but man those cars are awesome. A slightly more comfortable integra, also the motor was a dual cam, same as the Camry
sick to see 4gen celica owners in the comments, im never selling mine tho😂
Stay safe out there with the crazy drivers out there God bless ya all
You can tell if it’s an HR Vq based off the intakes if it’s single and loops over like the one you found it’s considered DE. HR has 2 intakes
Not that anyone cares but 🤧
Great editing Mike! I got nostalgic over the junkyard scrounge. It always surprises you what you find out there. Keep killing it!
I have gone to that Junkyard many times. Always looking for stuff for my Acura TL
1979 - 1993 was the fox body mustang. The fox body platform was shared with lots of front engine rear wheel drive Fords, Lincolns, and Mercurys.
love your videos, love the vibes, Always a joy to see the junkyard vids!
Fun fact about that Honda Insight, that steering wheel is the same they used for the S2Ks. I wish I could teleport into that junkyard to grab that, those fit on my Accord
Outro music fire fr also your transitions are really clean i love them
Thanks man 🤘
Thisistoodifficult is always a good vibe 🔥
The high up "Torque mount" on that subaru you mentioned is actually a pitch stop.
Its so satisfying to watch these and listen how much you know about cars.
Btw, 10:15 that might be an e90 looking at the tail lights
13:19 it’s a firebird. A good rule to go by is firebirds from that gen came with pop up headlights.
There is literally another junk yard 2 blocks down from this on kostner ave by division!
Wait whaaa Ill have to check there next!
502. Big block in those caddies killer motors when you build em, back in the 90s we had a merlin 502 built in our speed boat. It would do 100mph on the water, if you never been on the water thats hella fast!!!
We used it for pair a sailing. And tubing
Fun times
I could be wrong but I think the wooden box on the bed of the red truck houses his air suspension setup. Another great video tho! Never fails
Good stuff, subscribed. Enjoyed this just threw on for background noise and checked out cars liked
waited until i got off to watch, so glad i did. love the junkyard vids man , makes me wanna go more to just look around.
you should put an airtag in your toolbag, in case you lose it or someone steals it. Awesome video regardless, junkyards are a place where you never know what you stumble upon
i missed these junkyard videos! makes me wanna go to my local one but its all volvos lol
Always love the junkyard content! Bro that conquest absolutely fucks! I had a white one when I was 17.
I gotta try stashing my tools in a car at the yards. I always throw them in a wheel barrow and struggle to get around the yard 😂 plus I’m super tall and the wheels barrow hurt my back from hunching over
Ahhh good ole car meets/shows. Love the car scene in chicago!
My brother built the ‘48 Chevy truck at 25:11 with ‘2 brake pedals’ 😂. The new owner added the toolbox to cover the air ride compressor and tank.
If you buy a folding wagon. You can carry your tools this way you don’t need to hide them. I bought the folding wagon it was a game changer for me. Holds tools and small parts. But wheel on gravel tend to bump it and some rows just does not fit you to walk through but I still think it was a ga,e changer for me for part runs
I probably have boring taste in cars, but I like the 90s Caprice Classic/Impala in 0:50. It's very similar to the Buick Roadmaster in 2:04. These were used by a lot of Law Enforcement agency in the 90s before the Ford Crown Victoria showed up in '98.
14:34 I always liked the side mirrors on these AE92 Corollas.
Yes, you are correct, that is a Foxbody Mustang. That is definitely a clean car!
That pantina drag car looks really cool! I agree; older American cars were quite cool and were built solid. What probably happen that changed everything was
- gas crisis in the late 70s
- the other big three from across the Pacific gained market share (Toyota, Datsun/Nissan, Honda) with reliable, fuel efficient cars
- those same companies also made cool, reliable sports cars (like your 240SX and 300ZX)
Love the content! I greatly appreciate you bringing us along for the various adventures! Thanks and have a great day!!
Been watching a lot of your videos man and the progress and situations you’ve gone through is insane! Clean cars I have a teg myself and love them! Keep up the good work!
11:14 I've literally owned both of those Escorts. My first car was a 97 Escort wagon, mine with sliver with a green interior and had a 5 speed. Great car. Not fast but pretty fun to drive, got great gas mileage and you could fit a bunch of stuff in the back too. The other is a 98 Escort ZX2 coupe that I still own. It originally belonged to my dad who bought it in 02 with 42K miles on it. It's black with a grey interior, sport package, 5 speed. It's got a bunch of aftermarket stuff on it, wheels, suspension, bolt-ons, etc. I'd like to turbo or motor swap it some day.
Hey mike huge trans am guy here andd the way you can tell the difference between a firebird and a ta with that white one is see how its a flat fender? The trans am had side vents that cooled the brakes where the firebirds only had flat fenders also if it was more put together a trans am would have a bulge in the hood or later on in 89 it would have vents in the hood if it was a trans am or gta but I’m assuming since that car was a firebird it would have a flat hood. Sorry to rant about it and i dont know if you’ll even see this but just love these cars so much that i wanted to help, OH one more thing the trans am had a wing on the back in these years where the firebird didnt (granted most people installed wings on em reguardless)
That white toyota next to the 240sx is a toyota corolla ae92. I used to own one super cool to see one in the wild like that. 😁😁
😂😂😂 callin the cruze normal lol. I love it. There are regular traffic but u can definitely make them stand out as i did mine.
I bought parts off a Saturn Vue at the yard for my mom. Someone may go up to that Buick to get another tail light for Grandma who keeps bumping things and you'll be out the tools. I leave mine in my car and then just go out to get them.
For VQs, the HR and VHR are similar, dual intakes/300ish HP/CD009, but the DEs are a bit more different compared to those two. They're the bad ones that burn oil overtime but all are still fun to drive
Sad to see another chasis bite the dust, I need to cut out the right frame rail on my s14, it's tubed but it's annoying.
Annnd Lemont Cruise Night. Definitely worthwhile.
One of the realest automotive channels ever prizzaW
Green on tan goes the hardest, you're tripping. Light interiors in dark colored cars are 🤤
Love your editing style brother man. Keep it wheel famz. 😊
You can buy those fuel socks at any auto parts store for a couple dollars. I'm not sure why you'd even try to clean it.
those shoes that you came across earlier those are jordan 4s, more specifically colorway is true berry. jordan numbers go up to 23 from my memory
btw bugeye impreza (02-03) sedan fenders are worth money. If you see mint ones, I’d grab them
very risky leaving your tools in that Enclave. That red TSX had its roof pulled open as the yard then shoves misc metals in there before it heads to crusher to "stuff the turkey" they call it.
Love these junkyard videos!!
Those insight steering wheels are kinda valuable. Super cool for old Honda builds to keep it oem and not spend a ton on an s2000 wheel which is basically the same
To answer your question if I would go through that Buick? Yes. And I’ve done it before when I was looking for interior parts for my traverse 😂
I was at that junkyard about week a go getting parts from that 3rd gen firebird for my camaro
What you said about pt cruisers is the truest statement ever made in history….throw in hhr’s as well
love the junkyard vids!!
The difference with VG engines. If it has a single intake tube it's a DE and the Uprev or HR have dual intake tubes.
Love seeing you upload man , makes my day
Out of any of the subies. I always like the impreza 2.5 rs. It's small ,
5 speed dohc, 2.5 nice little cars and fast!!
Was just about to say don't be afraid to show stuff for the Subbie guys, then you showed two of em in quick succession. Nice.
Mike those e46 headlights are worth some serious money, they sale for around 200-400 each, and the taillights are factory LEDs lol
Woooo junkyard vid!!! I took some stuff of that 240
Sure was interesting on the newer Vehicles in there and how badly a lot were rusted out so quickly compared to the older ones.
roadmaster backseat could make a excelent shop seat!
Nothin like watching a Mike video in the postpartum room with my baby 🤣
Prizza your num 1 to watch great vids
HORNET! 🤘 that's cleaner then mine 😅 and mines a 4 door. you would like my 59 fiat 1100 and the 85 celica gts I 302 swapped. You keep eyeing the classics, need to find more space and buy one as a project? 😎
That ranger transmission bolt is actually factory. Been the design since 1984
That caprice in the beginning was pretty cool imo
Up here in Canada we pronounce it Sell-leak-ah. They were considered chicks cars back in my high school days. The boys mostly drove mustangs and camaros or pickups.
Actually, insights could easily get upwards of 80mpg with little trouble, and they had an optional manual as well as a pretty sweet digital dash.
amazing vids mike every time you upload my day gets a bit better keep up the amazing work also congrats on 100k
Easy way to tell the difference between a hr and de is the hr has 2 intakes and the hood is different from the de hood
Love Those celica with popups
For 100k subs your editing skills are way beyond bro thanks for the video
Dooood wagon appreciation, one day I'll own a roadmaster! Also Mike what's the music you use in your videos?. Mad good!
That Honda insight has an S2000 steering wheel, i would've copped that.
No way for real?! Was that factory?
@@PrizzaMike yep, factory s2k wheel:)
@@PrizzaMike go get it for the teggy
Howdy PizzaMike i love the Salvage yards video to me a Salvage yard is like a shopping mall. They have everything you need btw if you find a pair of black door panels for a 96 Ford Probe with power windows and locks in good condition please let me know
Hey Mike!!! That newer Celica had a 3S-GE (Beams) engine I think, could be a good pick if it's cheap and in good condition!!!
Dude, AWESOME vid, love 240 content! fun fact: my grandpa had a rust free ford escort and it had a KA in it. he bought it off of some guy! i have no clue how the guy did it, i thought that was impossible. now that cars in the junkyard :(
The car next to the 240 is a ae92 corolla and they are rare as hell. I daily one and would give my left leg to get parts off of that
"This is where they all belong."
Correct. 👊
Great vid prizza, never disappoints
Those shoes you found are Jordan 4’s, not sure exactly what the name of that color way is but either way 4’s go for 150ish+ even in that condition, such a random but good find
The white car next to the 240 is actually a ae92 Corolla if I'm not mistaken
of all the junkyards I think that particular pick n pull would be the worst one to leave tools in a car like that, somebody would come up quick af lol
Bro when you showed the PT cruiser I was actually happy to see that car in junk yard I hate those things with a burning passion
That 240 would be good for quarter panels, and plenty of good parts too put on some rusty 240s
The white Toyota 2 door by the 240 is a Corolla Sport coupe, not a Celica. Last year for 2 door Corolla was 1992,
OML those 4th gen celica front fenders are clean bro i need them
Good to see my old s15 again I miss it
those transitions tho with the fuel pump and battery👌
so i know the 5 lug knuckle from the crv fits civics for the front, what about the REARS? can i take those knuckles and trailing arms too? 5 lug all the way around
Hell yes dude back in the yards
