People who do that live a miserable existence. Must suck! I often wonder where all the people who stole Type Rs are. Would be neat to see each of them. I bry yhry would all share a lot of similarities!

Man, I hate to see that. I had something similar happen to me back in 2010, was at a local junkyard getting 240 parts. I basically paid the yard for the entire car ($700) and the only thing I couldn't take was the frame and engine. The only serious damage to the car was the rear quarter had slapped a telephone pole. I basically got the entire interior the first day and planned to come back the next day for the doors and basically the entire front. Came back the next day and the yard foreman stopped me and told me that earlier in the day a young guy came in trying to buy parts off the 240 and they told him they were already sold. He ended up buying the factory wheels off the car but in the process totally beat the car senseless breaking all the windows and bashing the fenders. Sad to see things like this happen, cars already gone one leg in the grave no need to finish it off. Any ways keep up the vids man loving the junkyard series as much as the s13 rebuild!
My uncle got another twin of 626. It is a Ford Telstar. His car also immaculate, I love the blue interior. Unfortunately, it got in fire from short wiring
Same, my mother had a very nice newer 626, in a red color & 5 speed manual with tan interior. Probably the best red paint I’ve ever seen & was probably garaged kept its entire life before she got it because it had so much sparkle it was insane. She got it with 90k miles & ran mint when she sold it at 210k miles.
In the 90’s my whole family drove those 626’s. Nobody had any problems with them. We drove so many european roadtrips with all the family. . I love those 626’s
I think the best time to go to a junkyard is during the Winter. You gotta have a little bit of tough skin to be stomping around in the snow and mud and the freezing cold. So I think a lot more parts would be available!
Imagine the type of person one has to be to watch a RUclips video and get so angry at it (for some reason), drive down to that specific junkyard to trash specific cars. I hope it was just some guy doing it to random cars and lucked out with your picks... thinking about your theory of picking out your specific cars is more upsetting. It wasn't your fault at all. 24:53 I know what car has 13 inch wheels on it, my BMW E21 😄165/70r13 in the front and 175/70r13 in the rear 😂Some very skinny tires all around. Another car in the family has 345/35r15 Yokohamas lol
I remember my racing cheat code back in the days was the prelude Si obd0 ecu because it came with a B20 2.0 and i would use that ecu on my OBD0 LS CRX lol i though it was so fast lol
I can't believe that eclipse body kit is still there. People just walking by $$$. Even with the front bumper damaged it's still worth grabbing. They don't make that kit anymore
Wow a '79 Chevy Monza... That's the first car I drove after I first got my license. My parents needed a cheap 2nd car when we moved back to Illinois from Texas and I think they paid like 3-4k for that car brand new. Ours was gold. The car made it to just 80,000 miles and then started to have all sorts of problems... my parents ended up trading it in for a '85 Chevy Cavalier instead which I then drove for a few years until IT hit around 80k miles and then it started to develop a bunch of problems... my parents let me trade the cavalier in when I bought my '91 S13... I think we only got like $1k for it because it wasn't running right, but a thousand bucks is a thousand bucks! Winter... that's the one really sucky thing about living in Illinois (or probably anywhere in the Midwest). It seems to last so freaking long and summer seems to go by so fast... I invested in a heater for my garage so I can still work out there when it's cold, but I hate having to work with the garage door closed and no natural light... It's just a lot harder to see shit when you're using various work lights and whatnot. Still at least some progress can be made. Last, what kind of a-holes would go and destroy cars they know you might go back for parts from? Honestly anyone that goes to a junkyard and destroys ANY cars in good shape sucks... These places can be a gold mine for older cars with discontinued parts! The junkyards themselves treat the cars fairly roughly... don't need people coming in and actively destroying them...
2:09-3:01 (excluding on the other car beside) that VW was actually a Type 3 fastback. Edit (add-on): 5:55-6:29 a Chevrolet Monza 2+2 hatchback. 17-52-18:02 for me, it looks like a C3 Corvette.
An experiment we are going to try this summer, a pal of mine has a 300ZX like that as a show car, he put JDM headlights (no nipples on the lenses, a little cleaner looking) and he gave them to me, we are thinking of using them on my dad's 66 Stingray that needs a nose job. The angles seem so close it just might work.
Actually those Maserati Chrysler hardtops sell for a little bit of money. Not the car but the hardtop itself. Something to think about. Love the channel.
There's a bunch of parts on those cars that sell really well actually, including the hardtop like you said. Also look for the accessories on them that people aren't generally aware of. I believe these came with an umbrella and other things. That umbrella is worth a decent amount by itself if it is still with the car. The cars themselves aren't worth a bunch, but the pieces are, weird huh
@@fomocopowersgarage7103 I totally forgot about the umbrella they came with. They sell for $350+ in nice condition. That car could be a diamond in the rough.
@@PrizzaMike they're interesting cars for sure, everybody confuses them with the Chrysler LeBaron convertible, however they are completely different cars.
@PrizzaMike i like watching your videos, I used to make a bunch of money hitting up the LKQ yards every week when they had the weekly half off days. This was in like 2005-2010 though, man I feel old now. You would've loved/hated cash for clunkers. That program was an unreal asset to the yards.
I wish I could get the hood off that red integra, I'm doing an integra front end swap on my EK civic hatch and I think that hood would look pretty tuff on it.

24:53 I know what car has 13 inch wheels on it, my BMW E21 😄165/70r13 in the front and 175/70r13 in the rear 😂Some very skinny tires all around. Another car in the family has 345/35r15 Yokohamas lol
That little thing to pull the door closed is an ashtray
Interesting! Thanks for clarifying!
8:33 got that Mercedes logo steering wheel
That was cool to see the stuff in the yard. Going to have to check marketplace for a rambler now.
Man I love seeing these junkyard videos!
hey mike! that volkswagen you saw was a squareback!
MG's are sick when they're finished. For some reason I see them around a lot where I live, people love em up here.
My boy dad had a vega with 350 in it. Light weight
Ramblers we're made by the American motor company AMC,and the blue Chevy was a Monza.
I bought that same bodystyle 626 with less than 40k miles on it for like, $600! Was in excellent condition other than the original tires from 1990 lol
The little Volkswagen was a Karman ghia I used to have one they're fun little cars
Dang wish I was there for the Miata armrest screw covers cant find those anywhere 😂
Dam for real!?
If someone wants it I'm more than willing to scoop it for them. I just have no use for it
@@PrizzaMike how much are they gonna want for it roughly? I'm tempted to buy it just to save it from getting smashed
@6:01 it’s a 1979 Chevrolet monza
Interesting! I've never seen one before! Looks like a pretty cool car 🔥
Loved the video as always bro!
Can´t wait for more :D
More to come! 🔥
2:09-3:01 (excluding on the other car beside) that VW was actually a Type 3 fastback.
Edit (add-on): 5:55-6:29 a Chevrolet Monza 2+2 hatchback. 17-52-18:02 for me, it looks like a C3 Corvette.
Get a hold of Dennis Collins he loves those MGs, he has his channel coffee walk
Interesting! I never knew! I might have to go back and look for the umbrella 😅
