Yo bro it's the part 2 of the first video of ut first full good 240sx also keep up the work excited about ur 240sx being painted and ur 300zx being drivable keep up the work!
Hey man I noticed the headlights on that Audi at the beginning of the video I need them headlights so badly would’ve been amazing if you grabbed them I would pay top dollar for those
@@PrizzaMike I was never into 240s in the mid 2000s but I’ve come around to them. Back then, there was someone on my street selling a 240sx bone stock for $1500. Ran and drove, it’s crazy to see how much people want for beat on shells nowadays.
youre not wrong for feeling that way. some people just dont get it and have no real love for cars despite using them to make a living... keep doing what youre doing!
Yeah. What i truly despise is the people that just get a car and the only thing in their mind is to beat it into the ground without any care and as soon it stops running, junk it and complain that it's trash. Like dude, take care of the car i mean it isn't that difficult to keep it in tip top shape and well maintained. If you as a person do this kind of thing then the car isn't the trash, if anything the trash is you as a incompetent car owner.
Where I'm from it's common courtesy not to be a douche and ask if you see someone working on a car you need and not just walk up on them if they got their first
it pisses me off sometimes the way people treat these cars. destroying rare parts other people might actually need to grab something and sell for profit great video as always, such a good haul for
If people think more like you with the spirit of keeping cars alive without asking for a premium for parts, that would be real nice. Good score! Would be kinda interesting to see convertible doors and cards on a coupe, maybe something for a later date?
15:03..... cant agree more on that.. there getting fewer and fewer cars out to actually share the passion and have fun... but my gawd thr parts getting sold left and right....
Absolutely the best content creator, and always keeping it real. Love the channel. Still bingeing the videos. Always put me in a good mood to go do some car work. We need to connect man. Keep up the great content.
Mike is the man hands down this guy did all this work out of his garage a full body rebuild on a 240 isn't easy for all the people watching and not subscribing ur hurtin this channel he deserves to be up on top so let's get his subscriptions up so he can be greater than he is. congratulations bro your killin it me and the boys been subscribed and watching keep up the dope work and content
1:54 bro i got the full surround sound echo through my headphones of that connection even made what you saying get whiplash 😂😂 love bro hope it wasn’t that bad ❤️❤️
Fun fact! 240 verts were actually made by a company named American Sunroof Company not Nissan themselves! Same for most odd late 90s - early 2000’s convertible option cars. (300zx, celica, the hardtop and soft top versions of the Z3, etc)
That center a/c vent looked real nice, I would have taken it too. Getting harder and harder to find not broken because everyone tries to pry them from the front. I would have definitely bought it if I was there.
I really don't like RUclipsrs but man I can watch your videos all day. You have so many fun facts that are actually interesting and your reactions and are so genuine and not that generic RUclipsr "HEY GUYS!!" BS
To be honest I am not really familiar with import vehicles but I have been watching your videos for about a month now and I am learning more and more about them and it is all thanks to you and your videos bro I love your videos keep grinding
I always love when people are like mike when they are so crazy about a specific car they know all the history all the options what comes on what body indicators like if you were gonna do a swap or convert something mike would be the person you want to help you its cool there's parts available there but it also sucks people let cars rust away to nothing good stuff mike
Nice find! Don't feel wrong for being pissed about the guy breaking parts, I deal with it all the time around here. Someone in my area pulls the screens out of Prius but breaks all of the dash vents in the process. The dash vents are worth nearly the same as the screen, but they destroy them anyways. It would honestly make me feel better if they actually just pulled the vents too, instead of breaking them. Or leave them for me at least! LOL
You're definitely not wrong for feeling that way. I'm a Volkswagen guy but our market is much the same as the Japanese market (people trying to scoop up parts just to drive the price up and sell them for more because they're "rare".) I bought a super beat up 300k MK5 Golf for £200 back in 2020 and I put a new engine in it, new brakes, I resprayed the car, stripped underneath and recoated it all, installed coilovers on it etc. I did it as cheaply as I could do it and it came out looking better than most MK5s currently on the road. The previous owner offered to buy it back for £3500 but I couldn't bring myself to sell it in good faith knowing that underneath it's still the same shitbox that I bought 3 years ago. It would be hypocritical of me to complain about the skyrocketing prices of cars/parts and then sell something I know isn't worth it just so I can make a bag on it.
This really makes me miss my 240. I had this exact car, but white, and it was in fantastic shape. It was my first vehicle, and I bought it from a local dealership. It was owned by an older couple, so it had 80,000 super gentle miles on it. I put over 100,000 miles on it before I got t boned and it was totalled.
The toyota station wagon is a 1998 Toyota Corolla Sprinter Carib. They mostly come in All Wheel Drive though (but I could be wrong). They're often salvaged for parts (usually the AWD system or the 4AGE engine including the front clip) to be placed on the Toyota Corolla sedans in South East Asia (notably in Indonesia and the Philippines). Also, fun fact of the JDM Sprinter Carib's plate number: The plate used on the car is actually a replica plate from the Initial D series (this is on a Toyota Corolla Trueno 3 door hatchback AE86 driven by Takumi Fujiwara, the main character of the story in the said Japanese cartoon). I guess this is to pay homage to the anime and maybe because it's also a Corolla. ;)
@@nxsq3244 ah. I was referring to what others would get from salvaged sprinter caribs though. Not specifically the one shown in the video. I've seen many JDM parts imports that are usually used on Corolla E110 sedans that South East Asians use. Like for example, there are cases that the Philippine Corolla E110 owners just buy the entire front end of the Corolla Liftback from Europe or fron Australia, then they convert the front end to look like the ones from abroad with a nice touch. This is the same people who use Carib front ends on their sedans. Same case for Indonesia, they buy the Carib front end and slap it on their sedans to make it look cool. Engine swaps, both would go for the 4AGE and the only AWD conversion I know is only done in Indonesia and Thailand.
@@nxsq3244 Don't do it, 4AGEs aren't the right engine for AWD, not enough down low torque. If you use a 7A block and put a 4AGE head on it then that might work better, it will be a 7AGE
Seeing these rusty 240’s makes me so so thankful my s13 isn’t rusty😩 the couple spots I have were under the stock foam wing and the battery tray but from what I’ve heard that’s fairly normal.
Glad I am not the only that has used a car as a truck, at the junkyard haha Really cool seeing 240s in junkyards never see them in at yards here in FL. Sucks the ones up there are all rusty...
wish i had junkyards around here i’ve been looking for sunroof rubber trim in black, drivers B pillar trim and passenger seat belt buckle that’s attached to the seat or just a whole passenger seat with no luck
youre totally not wrong for feeling that way, people should still respect the cars, and parts in the yard as theyre intended for other people not just to rot away more and get beat ripped on until they do need to go to the crusher. perfect center console broken for dudes carelessness. probably couldve made more off the console than the switches
Hey @PrizzaMike that yard looks familiar. Is that U pull it in Aurora, IL? Awesome Videos. I use to work at 2 yards in aurora. Valley Auto and City Auto. When i worked at city auto, i was able to buy a 1990 crx si for $300 including plates. Had a lot of fun with that car. Keep up the great content.
