- In today’s video we are doing a flip cup pour with silicone oil. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite techniques of fluid art! If you enjoy flip cup acrylic pours, I suggest giving this style with silicone and a 3oz cup a try! The way the cells flow out of the open cup is amazing! I am going to show you how to use my method of doing this acrylic pour.

You’re so not a nerd, I totally understand getting excited when you are able to finally paint. I am the same way because of a busy schedule 😊
That is so true! I get giddy like a child again when I know I have the time to create something!
Can't wait !!!
Oh yeah Samuel, we are glad to have you here!
This one has the colors of a large one i did a few years ago that I have in my hallway. Its like a colorful beach waves vibe.
Pour painting is my favorite relaxation. Your paintings are beautiful. It's always good to get painting tips. Glad I found your channel. Happy pouring🙂
Hi Johnny! I'm so glad to see your smiling face. Your creations always make me smile. Haven't been able to paint because it's hot as hades here, but hopefully soon. Thank you for the inspiration!
❤ I love it all and especially the bits of white negative space that amplify the party!
I've been pouring for quite a while and consistently use too much paint to do that.
We’re glad you’re here too!
Really cool. Now that you're in Michigan I kind of feel like we're neighbors. I'm in Ontario WI. Beautiful canoeing and camping town half a mile from Wildcat Mountain and Kickapoo Nature Reserve. Absolutely serene. My neighbor who recently moved in does paint pouring. I started when my Dad passed away. It gives me hope and a way to channel my raw emotions and create something beautiful.
I love your hats, I have a hat collection myself!
Thank you, its quite an addiction for me at this point!
I like that you always try to relate to what's going on and your followers. Great work. I enjoy your painting immensely. I could handle the 20 obstacles. But I can't run worth a shit.
Sooo beautiful with the dark blu and turcoise together...and the big cells...im from Sweden by the way....love your pantings and your advices...😀👍
Super beautiful color palette! And OMG those cells! Love love love it!
I’m excited when you get to paint too. 🔥 beautiful!
Very pretty! I keep expecting a dolphin to burst out of it like it's water.
Beautyful!

@@JMoPainting thanks 😊
That focal point is amazing💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋❣❤❣❤
Love ❤️
Awesome painting!! Saying hi from south of you in the Monroe area. I get it about the excitement from painting especially when life is busy and doesn't allow the time to do it as often as wanted! It's normally only in the colder months when my yard doesn't take up my extra time that I have the pleasure of pouring. I live vicariously thru videos such as this while working on getting to sleep lol
Love seeing your face!! 😄👍
Thank you so much, I am trying to be more interactive with you guys instead of just my voice and hands moving around lol
I’ve missed you!
I have missed you all too!
Great day, warm an sunny in up state ny
It is a beautiful day here in Detroit as well!! Loving this sunshine!

Hello Johnny! So good to see you! Love this piece! It’s full of happy! Glad you’re OK. How is your boy? Hope he’s still getting to spend time with you. Hugs & stuff from Wiltshire in the UK xx
Hello Fran! It is great to see you too, everything is going great over here and I am super excited for the future!
Wunderschön😍
It was good to see your face, I like the new set up. This painting reminded me of soap bubbles or something like that. What you'd see on your windows going through a car wash. Lolol. Have you tried doing them and only adding silicone to one or maybe two colors at most and leaving the rest silicone free?
Nice
Very nice
Killer!
Do you think that a hairdryer works better than a butane torch for getting the bubbles out? Also, have you ever used TLP pigments for paint? I ❤️ it and they offer AWESOME colors! I'm NEW NEW NEW to fluid art.
🤩
Heck yeah!
I’m new at this, I’ve been using straight silicone. Can you tell me the difference between what you use and mine? Why do you like the hair silicone product?
Thank you for a great video once again 👍🏼
Thanks for this share! I have been meaning to ask, are you not using the Wood primer for cells anymore?
Another Awsome painting!!! I hope to be in my studio tomorrow!! Lovin life !!
Thank you Jodie! I hope you have an amazing time in your studio and create your own happiness!
Very cool reaction and great pour! And it's great to see you back and painting again. Awesome work and I look forward to the next one!
New to paint pouring, may I ask what did you use for your base? Is it pillow paint?
Do you use a pouring agent to increase the flow?
Have you ever used baby oil for silicone
My neighbors from Detroit (Yall swapped!) & she KNOWS their scene! She'd never seen our medium til me so you're in a GREAT spot!👍😉 but don't wait!
Got my 1st booth for 🏳️🌈Charlotte PRIDE🏳️🌈 & IM TERRIFIED! Really; could there BE a TOUGHER crowd of critics???🤣 BR Turner gave me SO much inspiration w/VIBRANT colors! That FLOP CUP ACTION is my JAM! 😍
I made a new start from scratch not long ago & I see SO much difference in you! You EXUDE a person who's finally found his place & his peace! Trust me; don't look back! 🥰
Also check out The Painted Dreamer if you haven't. Jodies AH-MAY-ZING esp her BLOOMS! Good Luck Johnny!✌️ ☮️ 🖤🤘~yvette.
Do you know of any of the professionals that use latex house paint for their base coat, people are saying they've seen that on RUclips videos but I haven't I've seen it basically acrylic 🏠 paint base
I have used it in a couple pieces Gloria. The only thing you have to worry about is the consistencies of the house paint and the acrylic paint above it need to be close to the same. If they are too far off the painting will probably crack or craze during the drying process.
I dont like the white corner, hope you fixt it...😀👍😃
Do you put the silicone in every paint cup? Can you use WD 40?
For this one I put silicone in everything except the base coat. I have never used WD40 before, so I am not sure about that. When I first started I used a "Blaster" aerosol silicone spray from lowes/Home depot. I hope this helps you!
What are your paints mixed with? Flotrol?
I really dig your artwork. Can you lend me a hand and divulge your pouring mediums identity?
It looks like a peacock 🦚
The music is distracting
