Great video. Good commonsense information. I am a carpenter, not a mechanic but the same applies in my work. I hate walking under DIY structures and/or DIY modified structures. We tend to fence them off, then either demolish or fix them in the early stages of renovations.

That BAW Picket sign in the background is really annoying but great advice

Hi Jason. Wheel Bearing capacities ... mint explanation. If I buy an upgrade axle from you to up my LC200 what do I get from you in the way of a bearing upgrade over the OE shitty semi floating ends and so what is the max safe rear axle load increase you will put your name to please ?

The 200 series wheel bearing is sufficient to support upto 3000kg no issues however the diff housing has weaknesses at those weights noting that bracing only is not enough

If it's a newish vehicle with warranty . The GVM upgrading is one thing but warranty is the other. With the upgrade you will want to tow a bigger heavier van. You expect that drive train to cope with the excess. If you blow a clutch or auto transmission say a Ford Ranger thats about $15000.. The GVM mods will give The car manufacturer an out. Sorry mate . It's been overloaded. Towing a load above the factory approved kgs. I bet the suspension mob won't take up the vehicle warranty and look after you.

So it's okay to re rate the load rating of the front axle without doing any modifications on it, but not okay for others to do the same for front & rear ?
    Sounds extremely hypercritical and psychotic.
Oh and apparently the wheel bearings are ok 😅
