GCM APPROVALS coming 2025!
We are so excited to announce that we have completed GCM testing for the 200, 300 and 70 Series for POST REGO GCM approvals. Paperwork will be finalised in the next few weeks after we return from break on the 14th of January.
With 4 tonne tow coming for the 200 & 300 Series Wagons POST REGO, this is massive news!
We have also taken over ownership of the Australian Expedition Vehicles: 200 & 300 chop system. This means we will now be offering dual cab conversions for the 200 and 300 Series.
Featuring:
- 4495KG GVMs
- 4.5 tonne tow
- APPROVALS for POST REGO GCM!
- 3" inch lift + 35" tyres (Pre Rego only*)
- ESC testing

So when it’s chopped and the GVM is upgraded do the people who perform the work say anything about factory warranty? I would imagine that as soon as you chop it in half extend it, add extra tow capacity and GVM Toyota will wipe you for warranty on anything drivetrain related like engine trans etc?
Want a 200 4.2t gvm and keep the tow at 3.5t. Will you have the balls yet? Lovells will... so add a rear diff and do what you claim. Believe it when its done

Will Jmacx cover customers warranties when he engines fail from the extra load and Toyota reject warranty?
I don’t see that happening and rightfully so, all JMACX has to do is the engineering of the chassis and suspension to a level that makes said components strong enough and safe enough to do the job legally and well. That’s it, any other issue belongs to the owner and is between them and Toyota. Toyota have clamped down on this sort of thing because so many companies, even big companies aren’t doing enough to strengthen all of the necessary components, JMACX does but at the end of the day, the vehicle is still being taken out of its original parameters. Who knows, maybe one day JMACX will be the preferred modifier of Toyota vehicles and will get full warranty cover. But for now there is a market that doesn’t want an American truck, so they spend more than an American truck to modify their Toyota and JMACX is the best at doing these mods. You literally get half the motor and no exhaust brake for the same money but at least you’re still driving a Toyota 🤷♂️

@@ausguy4385 I said “extra load” I didn’t say overloaded. But that’s the point champ, we stayed within the specs of the SSM, but every keyboard warrior likes to say it was “overloaded”. it’s a genuine question for anyone considering these modifications.

@ yeah, I know, right. Take out bills, rent, trying to feed your self and put fuel in the Hilux that you still have repayments on. Say, about $20 a week left over. How long to save up to buy one ?

With your sex by 6 is the second axle driven by tailshaft or a lazy axle to make it a true 6 x 6. And do you carry air lockers in all three axles

Suspension for the Hilux will be out hopefully in the next month or two, just waiting on approvals. No GVM at this stage though

35s on 300 series is the most ideal size in my opinion.
Does the vehicle actually get lifted as the springs sit higher? What about the curve of the springs?
My 2020 79 dual cab has had the 4495KG GVM with the chassis extension and coil conversion since new. Travelled over 100,000km now. Done a heap of varied driving from towing caravans over 30,000KM, beach driving and towing on the beach. Completed advanced 4wding and recovery certification in it, hence driven some really extreme tracks which I must say it handled extremely well. The trainers and other participants were amazed where I could drive it with the extended wheel base. It’s in touring mode 24/7 hence it’s consistently over 4T, and it’s my daily drive. To say I’ve been impressed is an understatement, it’s been absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended Jason and the team, they have always gone above and beyond. 👍😎

Sells a pre reg kit for 76 series and the exhaust (torqit) doesn’t fit. Pretty average!
