I’ve always been scared of giving birth in the future because I’m also TERRIFIED of needles and doctors but watching Madeline do it so well made me feel so much better about being able to do it myself someday
Honestly the pain it causes you wouldn't even care about them sticking you because the pain will almost make you do whatever to get relief. Speaking as a person who did give birth.
You can do it! Especially to have a little one to care for ❤ with needles, do not tense the arm or muscles you get the needle it, have someone talk to you to distract or get a small face vibrator and use that on another area of your body like your leg to focus on that opposed to the needles! I’m super w/ you on needles being scary but I’ve learned a few techniques to distract myself ❤
I HATE needles. But you just kind of block it out. I had an IV in my wrist for 2 days no problem. Didn’t even feel or remember the epidural if you get one. Everything is such a rush. And it all turns out in the end
Once you become pregnant you’ll eventually get over the fear of needles. You get poked ALL the time lol. I used to pass out getting shots but I’m 35 almost 36 weeks pregnant and I’ve definitely gotten over the needle fear
I was so nervous for the needles as well and it rly wasn’t as bad in the moment the epidural scared me the most and i didn’t feel anything my nurses were amazing tho and literally massaged my shoulders as i was getting it didn’t feel a thing
“I don’t think you’re a baby I think you’re going through giving birth and it’s hard” if that isn’t the perfect response I don’t know what is! This was so sweet! ❤
Yes giving birth is hard, with my daughter her waters broke naturally and they had no time to give me epidural but it was worth pain definitely 💯 congrats

Literally cried when little Luna was born and started crying herself. I’m so happy for you guys! And Madeline, I’m so happy you had such an amazing Medical Team. That’s always an important part of any medical journey. If you have a less-than-perfect medical team, your whole experience will be thrown off. Anyway, like I said, glad everything went smoothly and glad Luna is doing better. She’s so beautiful! Love you guys ❤
I always find it fascinating to watch women go in for scheduled inductions because of how excited and relaxed you all are. With both my kids I spontaneously went into labor at 39 weeks and by the time I got to the hospital I was in such intense pain it was a blur that I couldn’t even think about anything other than the contractions. What’s it like to casually walk into hospital knowing you’re going to deliver? 🤣 I’ve never experienced that 😅
I actually wasn’t scared of giving birth at all😂😂 I just went in with the mindset what happens happens and there’s nothing I can do about it😂😂 honestly that mindset really helped keep me relaxed. All of my friends were nervous but I was ready😂 I was only in labor for 8 hours and pushed for half an hour or less.

I found out I was pregnant around the same time that y’all announced (Due March 10 (induction) and it’s been so fun because we got engaged around the same time as y’all, married the same time, and now a sweet baby at the same time! 😭😭

I totally understand Madeline when she said she’s not into medical stuff. Honestly same! I’d be freaking out too. You did amazing and I’m so happy your delivery went smooth! Stephen did a great job with helping you as well. Luna is so precious and now you get to enjoy your bundle of happiness 💜 Soak in all the baby cuddles!

Now she's a mother please take care of her more now make her feel she's the most beautiful person on earth and love her so so much. Because i went through postpartum depression when I gave birth to my cute baby boy so my husband took care of me like I'm the only one for him he always used compliment me he always been there for me whenever I needed him please take care of her she needs you the most at this time.
I'm saying it as an experience parent.

I’m currently 34 weeks and 5 days and I’m soooo anxious to meet my sweet little girl! Super nervous but I know my doctor, Dr. Pico, is going to be super helpful, heck she already is. When I heard her little cries once mads was done pushing and she was out, I bawled like a little baby, makes me so excited to hear mine🥹 you did AMAZING mama and Stephen you were so supportive the entire time, I told my fiancé to take notes on what to do😂 congratulations to you both!❤️
It's usually the doctors counting down. Steven, you did a fantastic job. Not to say Madeline didn't but that was the best support from an excited father I've ever seen.

You honestly did so amazing! I'm glad your birth experience was so positive and your both doing well. I was so relaxed when I was taken in to be induced with my daughter. It didn't go very smooth for me unfortunately but we both came out of it and are doing well now. I'm expecting my second baby (boy) this July. Super nervous this time after trauma from previous birth. Watching this gives me so much hope I can get through it 💕

I’ve been a paramedic 22 years and have had 3 live births myself and I don’t understand the women who want to prove something and do labor with no help. My first baby I made it to 5 cm before I was done and had my epidural, then I slept until it was time to push but legit your worst period cramp times a thousand, and my first kiddo was 7 pounds 13 oz, my daughter I got to 4 cm then got an epidural she was 8 pounds 4 oz my last baby I went in to the hosp 5cm and my epidural didn’t take because of my scoliosis so that was 22 hours of hard labor, and an hour pushing and he was 9 pounds 2 oz. I thought at times I was going to pass out from the pain, so I urge new moms to get the epidural it helps the baby to cuz mom isn’t super stressed so it helps baby move through the birth canal a little faster ❤ Congratulations guys! She’s beautiful!! ❤
