The trick is to deliberately under adjust and then you can slowly click the last one or two.

@@Pedro-op6zj false. Wealthy people want to discreetly show off their wealth. Let's be serious here, our Rolex's, Grand Seikos, Omega's, Longine's, etc are not worth what we think they are. There are watches under $300 that are just as reliable and look just as good.
The only reason anyone buys any of these brands is for the recognition. They don't want to show it off, but they want everyone to notice.
If you're finding that difficult to set your dive timer bezel, I strongly recommend you don't use it to go diving.
Literally no one has used "dive watches" for actual diving in the last 30-40 years except a few retro/vintage gear enthusiasts lol.
Yeah, this. My grandfather passed down his old Seamaster to me from 1960, and he used it for diving back in the day. It's a badass watch. He always tells me "these days all these guys have little computers on their wrists" to guide them along@@bananowyjestemsobie

If you're wondering, dive watches only spin one way, not two like a gmt.
Honestly, this feature is helpful in everyday life, especially family life with kids. It's kind of a freeing feeling to not have to take out your phone for simple timekeeping.

I'm a bidirectional GMT bezel guy - if I go too far, I can go back.
But there is a reason it only works in one way. 😢
@@TheOitzuyou're taking about a dive watch. A GMT bezel can be bidirectional because it's not used for keeping track of your dive time. It's used with the additional hour hand for showing time in another time zone.
But then you might bump it against something and you time measuring is off for good.

I find it easier to use the triangle as the target time.
I had a friend who would always move the dial by 1 so i had to turn it the full 360 degrees to get it back.

Infinite click bezel as I like to call it. No alignment issues either.
Unpopular opinion: actually using this feature makes it more of a hassle than not using it at all and going by memory. Or just using your phone.
Who cares if your late as long as u enjoy the clicking sound of that bezel

Loose bezel on Dive watch is a public menace, in this case...
I have a diver but dont use the bezel for that, I just rotate it when I want to hear the sound
Funny! My Tudor dive watch is from 1978 and rotates both ways. Works great for restaurants, kids medications, and diving!

As someone who loves using both- I laughed so hard at this! My first dive watch was actually the Black bay and the tiny coin edge bezel on it had me doing that often for the first couple of weeks

The solution is to buy a Vostok Amfibia as those don't have unidirectional bezels (don't actually use them to time dives though).

That never happened… You guys just push the watch usability narrative so much it’s crazy. Never have I seen anyone spinning the watch bezel to time something. Never. Not once. That tells you everything you need to know about how much watch is playing part in peoples lives. It’s worn as jewellery that’s it…
People don’t even know how to use the bezel to time things. Many don’t know what’s a bezel is. They just bought an AP, cause that’s what iG told them to buy, they couldn’t give less **ck about timing something
So I have both a dive watch and a little timer clock....the dive watch is much better as its more simple to see how long your time has overshot...where my little timer clock will stop after a set timeframe.
I use it when shopping and have a parking limit. Or doing tasks at work sometimes to track how long that take

I've never overshot my bezel timer by more than 1 click...in fact a seiko bezel is so tight it'll take longer just to move it 40 clicks just to get it there
