The season six New Directions are truly underrated. Absolutely amazing dynamic, some of the best vocalists we got (honestly Roderick, our lead singer here is probably the best male voice alongside Artie and Jake). If we had gotten to combine the season 4/5 group and season 6 group, it really would've been the best New Directions era.
THANK YOU for appreciating Artie's vocals! So often I find he's overshadowed by the other guys and people only see the wheelchair and aren't listening because he can SANG!

Absolutely. Glee needed to either stick 100% with the original cast as they continued on past high school, or 100% introduce new characters and stay at McKinley High. The later seasons are a mess because the show didn't know where it wanted to land and was trying to do way too much at once. The Season 6 newbies never got a chance to shine.
@@margaretpalola-harriman7002 The way 4, 5, and 6 could've been immaculate if the show just committed to being about the glee club. I'm hesitant to want or suggest it, but they really could've gone full Degrassi style if they committed to the club and just kept going. And we could've still seen the old ones through the mentoring thing Finn started in season 4, we wouldn't have to lose them forever but the show had to pick a path

This is 6th season. Tightrope by Jane (the girl doing the backgrounds) and Mustang Sally by Roderick (the lead in the song) [ft the unholy trinity] are the two you could listen to to get their solos. They’re both fabulous.

The lip syncing isn't exact, since this is the full song they needed footage to match what he was singing in the parts that weren't shown in the final cut. That amen part was from the bridge

Exactly, she's watching a video with footage from the show but the album extended version. There is no footage for those extended parts so they need to cut in some from other parts of the song
Came to the comments to make sure someone pointed this out. She often doesn’t watch the right video clips.
In the actual episode, he doesn't lip sync. He totally nails the top notes. You can definitely tell the creator who created the video, edited it a lot.
Finally!!!! Roderick is one of THE BEST characters of Glee.. hands down!! His voice is everything

@@Kara-nt3ki While I agree he is not one of the best in my opinion he is defently one of the least problematic characters. I dont think few eps are a good reason to dismiss since Sebastian Smythe did not appear in many eps and I would defently argue Smythe is one of Glees best characters. Just my opinion tough just like Julitos opinion is Rodrick is one of the best.
And he auditioned on America's Got Talent like last year or so. Because after Glee he had trouble finding work again.
1:29 Okay, now you REALLY need to hear me out about the video you just watched.
First of all, I need to explain that my videos are REEDITED to fit the full song, I usually repeat some scenes to match the lipsync. Almost every performance are good to edit and merge with the studio version, and this wasn't one of them, you need to remember that while watching.
This happens rarely, currently I learned NOT TO USE lipsync at the wrong time unless it fits perfectly.
Sorry about that, I hope the comments asking you to see the original performance don't stop you from watching my videos, a lot of them are really good. :(
I'm improving my edits and skills every day to bring you good and different content from other channels, and I'm also remaking a lot of my older videos. This one now is at the top of my list.

Don't worry please, your edits are EVERYTHING. You oftentimes don't have a lot to work with because of how much the show cuts from the studio songs, but you always manage to make them really amazing. :)
I *think* the ad-libbing was done by Samantha Marie Ware who played Jane. If you want to listen to a solo from her, you can check out Tightrope.

Yes! That Head Over Heels mash is so sweet! And Billy's (Mason) voice is incredible, but he did not get to showcase really outside of "I Want to Break Free." His non-Glee solo work is good too.

I saw Noah Guthrie in a cafe in Pittsburgh YEARS ago right after his stint on Glee. He was phenomenal. His first original album is outstanding!

Skylar/Mico was not mentioned a lot when people talk about Glee version of Take Me To Church. He was the one that she referred had some "twang". The chorus was so great because it's sung by both Roderick and Skylar in lead melody. Their voice blended so well.

The blonde one is the only of these who is also in season 4 and 5, it’s Kitty (Becca Tobin) and she did a duet with Artie, Marley (Melissa Benoist) and they’re pretty good. She also did signed sealed delivered. The one ad libbing is Jane (Samantha? Not sure of the actresses name) and she did tightrope as a solo
It's from season 6. Most of the New Directions have graduated or left. Rachel an Kurt return and rebuild the Glee Club with new singers. They are later joined by the Warblers, whose school burnt down. Hence the jackets.

Fun fact: One of the performers in the New New New Directions has 8 Grammys & an Oscar and another performer starred in the OG cast of DEH on Broadway…winning a Grammy (soundtrack) & Emmy (Daytime for the cast performance of “You Will Be Found” on a morning talk show. Neither was the guy singing lead.
Noah Guthrie! Hes an amazing singer and songwriter, released an album called "Blue Wall" not too long. I follow the guitarist in his band on YT (Rhett Shull). He vlogs a lot of the touring process with Noah.
This is Glee club during the final season of the show! Some of the OGs come back after failed endeavors and have put together this new team after Sue Sylvester disbanded it in Season 5. This performance is from Sectionals!

In season 6, episode 10 the Dalton Acadamy, the boys' school that had The Warblers burned down. They combined the Warblers and New Directions choirs and produced this super group choir.

The lipsync isn't his fault. It's the video that's used. The guy who edited them tried to do the full song but the episodes didn't played the entire song so he looped parts of the video and in this case, that vocal wasn't supposed to be used with that section of the video.

About the lip singing…i don’t think he is bad at it. This is the excented version, from the studio Recording. The actual Performance is just half as long in the show..that‘s why some parts of the Performance were kinda off. They also used extra scenes, That don’t happen in the actual Performance.
Fun Fact: Noah Guthrie used this song as his audition song for ‘The Voice’ in 2018 (which is MUCH BETTER). He made it to the semi-finals I believe 🤔 But that’s why he looks familiar

"Rather be" would also be a good song to listen to, you get to hear solos from many people from the new cast members in that song, including Jane who is that background vocal, and Kitty who is the blonde.
Yes its season 6, they are the newest batch of New Directions and the solo was Jane and you should watch her and Mason (the male Cheerio) do All Out Of Love because they both have AMAZING voices (also when you feel like you are struggling through parts of seasons 4 and 5, just remember season 6 was actually very good and the newbies were amazing and made the fans wish they'd had a longer season)
Season 6 - it’s 3 years after the first class graduated (S3) 2 years after the second class graduates (middle of S5). Kurt and Rachel restart the glee club after it’s been disbanded after the second class loses nationals. Mr Shue leaves coaching Vocal Adrenaline (after glee ends at McKinley, he goes there), and Blaine has been coaching the Warblers until their school burnt down and they joined forces (hence the blazers/uniform in this performance). They all 4 coach the club together by this point.

These kids are New Directions but from season 6 and yes, they were in a competition. About the video, when you react from that channel you are watching a fan edition because the oficial performaances usually don't use the whole song, that's why you can see the same takes a few times or scenes from the episode in these videos.
Season 6 characters go overlooked so regularly. Love how Roderick sounds.
You should definitely check out some of Sam Evans songs on glee and his duets with Blaine, they are amazing together.
The song is sung by Roderick (Center Boy), a Warbler (At the time, they shared the same Glee Club), Kitty (From Season 4, Becca Tobin) and Jane (Samantha Wire).
And yes, they are season 6's New Directions, where the originals are high school graduates and the season 4 transfer schools with the exception of Kitty. Unique appears in a few episodes, but Melissa Benoist, Jacob Artist and Blake Jenner had already moved on to other productions.
Jane (Voice at the end) has a Tightrope solo and a triet in All Out Love.

The Blonde's name is Kitty. I can't remember off the top of my head what solo's she sang in the 6th season if you wanted to hear her sing but. I do know and remember that she does sing Holding out for a hero- duet with Melissa Benoist who played supergirl on the CW and in glee is Marley Rose.

I think the reason the lip syncing is off is because the video has some extra clips put in! The actual performance of the song in the show is shorter :)

Hi! This is one of my fav songs from the last season of Glee. You were right, he's was originally from the TV show that Glee did but he and some others eventually came to the main show. The video you saw is NOT the actual performance but the full song with the performance video edited, that's why the lipsync seems so odd, you should check the performance video (which is way shorter) to see what I mean.
The blonde girl appeared first time on season 4th, her character name is "Kitty Wilde" and she has some amazing songs too. The character name of the female doing the amazing adlib at 07:00 its "Jane Hayward", and she's a powerhouse in terms of vocals. This is the full song and this song has 3 singers Noah (the one on the screen), Samantha (the girl that did the high note) and another guy I can't remember his name. You will see when you reach season 6 but they are the new New Directions and these are the Sectionals. The other guys sing in Come Sail Away. Oh and I think you should check out Chandelier, it's a top tier performance.

Arguably one of the best performances of season 6 and maybe of all 6 seasons. If your wondering this is still the New Directions but in season 6. The og main cast is not in this, except for Kitty from season 4. This group is a combination I believe of the Warblers and New Directions. That explains their outfit. Some people in this are Roderick-the main guy, Jane, Mason, etc.

I sing in a choir and we were taught to open our mouths to project like we have marshmallows at the back of our jaws, and it's always worked for me.
I never watched past season 5 originally but damn if this one didn't make me want to revisit it. WOW

Also Season 6's GLEE CLUB unlike the other seasons is also formed by a former GLEE CLUB called : the Warblers (Blaine's previous GLEE CLUB), this was because in Season 6 the school they previously attended burned down ! .
Hello, I am a Latin follower 🇺🇾 and I love your videos, you could react to "Try a little tenderness" from Mercedes. In my opinion she is the best singer on Glee and people didn't give her that much credit because they loved the character of Santana and Rachel was the lead.

Bingo, season six! Noah Guthrie (the main singer) was on the Gleek of the Week podcast talking about how he got on the show. I think he was a singer and met someone at a party who was casting for Glee and they suggested he audition, but he hadn’t acted before. His voice is lovely 😊

1:31 the video is re-edited and that's why the singing looks weird. The actual footage is cut shorter for the series. There are lot of parts in this song that he didn't sing in the series and the re-editor had to work with what is available.
