I have been watching many of your interactions with pediatric dental patients and you are very interesting to watch. My son blends vegetables and protein things in his shakes and he eats exactly like you, chicken and vegetables with no oil or unhealthy addictive. He was almost 300 pounds and had a completely different mindset to workout, lose weight, eat right and stick with the plan. It took him almost a year of self discipline to get to 180 pounds, at 6’2”. Best wishes to you and your future and I will subscribe to check on funny, entertaining and useful videos.
That was one interesting vlog.... The awkward moments had me cracking up, and for being a person who doesn't cook, you still did a good job... Loved the editing and the content... 👏👏♥️.. can't wait for the next vlog ...
People are different in many ways. Some people really are more alert in the early afternoon than in the early morning. My advice, for what it's worth, is to manipulate your schedule so you are doing the things that require the most mental effort during the times when you are most awake. Perhaps you would benefit from opening the dental practice one hour later in the morning and working an extra hour in the afternoon. It's easier to do that kind of thing when you are the practice owner. Perhaps you should write answers to the most important emails at 4:00 pm instead of 7:30 am. Save the stuff that you personally think is simple, easy and boring but totally necessary for your less awake, energetic times.
Gwin - def solid, helpful points and agreed on exerting energy where it is needed. scheduling and prioritizing are major considerations for productivity and efficiency. for me in the past, i think it was more so trying to "power through" a checklist with sleep debt piling up. it's a habit that sometimes enables more volume of tasks to be completed, but at the expense of health. im sure manyyy can relate to the grinds of the hustle culture. trying to be transparent about something i used to take pride in, but learning to undo now. i appreciate your insights and personal suggestions, as always
Good quality sleep is necessary to mental alertness. Your brain needs to defrag just like a hard drive in a computer. One of the many things your body does during sleep is throw away trivial two second thoughts such as "my shirt is rubbing against my arm". and move some selected memories from short term storage to long term storage. Getting the proper amounts of light sleep and deep sleep is necessary for alertness the next day. Your brain goes through different sleep stages and sleep cycles every night. A good night's sleep is when your brain is able to go through all the stages without any obstacles.
Grab a protein shake and read on...this could be a minute or 2 to read: My meal preps are super easy and I have all the confidence you can accomplish them too for yourself and for your guests! The important tools are an oven, good baking sheet pans that will fit in your oven (assuming you have a smaller oven with your size apartment?), Reynolds Wrap, parchment paper and good tongs. This recipe is for several days food or for multiple guests: Cut your veggies to preferred size, wash and dry then and toss into a bowl with EVOO....I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil but if you prefer your Avocado spray that should work too. Line the baking sheet with the RW even wrapping around the sides of the sheet pan. You can use as is or put a layer of parchment paper on the bottom if freak out about food touching RW (yes some people do!). I usually spread the smaller veggies like broccoli, asparagus, peppers, etc., on 1 sheet pan that bake faster and the more dense veggies like potatoes, onions, butternut squash, etc., on another pan. You can combine both on the same pan but keep separated so that you can easily remove the veggies that get done faster. This is when I add the salt, pepper or any seasoning to the veggies. Lastly, you'll take your chicken, fish or whatever protein and put on another sheet pan after season prepping with some type of EVOO or Avocado oi/spray. This prevents it from sticking to the pan and after you are done baking you will roll up the RW and toss away and easy peasy clean up! Depending on your oven you can bake it all at 375 degrees but keep an eye on it and rotate and toss the veggies every 10 minutes. Every oven can be different so you might have to adjust the temps or the timing. The veggies can get little black caramelization tips (YUM!!) but you don't want them to be all burnt so it's important to use the tongs to toss veggies and also flip the protein. When I do asparagus, broccoli and peppers it usually takes about 20-30 minutes. If you cut your chicken breasts up they should be about the same time or shorter. I actually underbake some of chicken, pulling it off the pan, so when I reheat it later it's perfectly tender and juicy. Google "Healthy Sheet Pan recipes" and you will get all kinds of ideas with photos and videos! YOU GOT THIS CHEF YOO!! Carry onward ;-)
First video ive ever watched of yours. Loved it! Also the way you and the girl flirt is sooooooo cute you guys seem like you would make a great couple!
Roast the bell papers on a pan till they char a little, saute onion and garlic. Blend it all in with some cashews, cook the chicken breast in the sauce with a little water and oregano seasoning. * chefs kiss *
Cooking tip: don’t use the same cutting board you used for the chicken to cut up anything else. Wash it then cut up your veggies :) Also I preferably stick with wooden cutting boards for produce only. I use the plastic cutting boards for meats! People don’t know you def wanna preserve the wooden cutting board. Ps. Never seen your vids before Your video came on my feed, I decided to watch because it had cooking. Good luck!

brother, it's always good to marinate the meat beforehand. Even just salting it the evening before, can make the world of a difference. It will extract the moisture and make the meat more crispy. Salt (and anything else you add) will penetrate the fibers making it much more flavorful. And always(!) taste your food before it goes off the heat. Although we sort of wish to, we can't eat with our eyes - you need to taste food while it's still going! Other than that, I'm mesmerized by your content!
John, this was fun to watch and cute. I used to meal prep, but the past year I’ve been so lazy I make salads most of the time because they’re easy 😆. My mom says I should cook more since my food tastes good to her lol some day….

Easy recepi. Quality steam soup, invest in an electric oven (steam & roast) function. Steam Soup: buy ready packet of chinese herbs and chicken (carcass or whole leg), water (3-4 rice bowl) & steam (auto set 2 hours). Simple soup seasoning: 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar. Simple right. Ovenate Chicken (40 mins) Marinate Seasoning (2 hours): sugar 2 tbsp, fried garlic, oyster sauce, dash of maggi soy sauce, light soy sauce. Place in foiled stainless steel plate & ovenate 40 mins. For better taste, remain marinate sauce, pan fry dry and put on top ovenated chicken. Steam rice: 30 to 40 mins. Stir fried any green and egg. 3 to 4 dishes in a simple meal.

Dear Dr. You and your staff provide the best care. You're at the top of the game. Thank you for being the dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate docter that you are! It is worth praising your work as a pediatrician. You are a skillful person and a great inspiration.🤍
The chicken breast U cooked this time looked so yummy, juicy and look so good 🎉 make me feel hungry 😮lol Veggies 🥕🥦🥬 for me I would wash them all, the little bit tip is put them into the water 15 mins (add 1/2 tea spoon of salt) before cut them, after that wash them again with water then ready to cook 😊 Ohhh and the chicken breast too U should wash it, same as the Veggie, don’t have to take 15 mins but also wash it with water+salt :)) this is the Tip too!!! And another choice my mom always does is steam the veggies with little bit of time (then we dont lose the vitamin) but sometimes she stir fried them same as U did Ur another meal looked soooo good, Is it yummy? (I m kidding) me love Salmon & Asparagus too just cooked it for our dinner at Lake Tahoe, spaghetti & sauces, stir Asparagus (put less less salt in, wish to use less seasoning) and stir mushroom and we also have strawberries & blueberries…it was so yummy :)) I love cooking but when I am home. My dad loves cooking too then we always wish to cook same menu but different way to do😂🤣 So I always let him does lolol it’s his happiness ♥️

Seriously, how is John not married!? There’d be a line of women out the door waiting to date him if he lived near me. Great job cooking btw! Looked delicious 🤤
That's almost like stir fry. Not bad. If you add in tomatoes or tomatoe puree that'll turn into a good curry recipe but you'd need to add in a few spices too to make it tasty like a bit of powdered turmeric, coriander maybe chilli too if you like it hot. Pair that with some rice and that'd be real good.
An easy but tasty meal is skinless chicken roasted in salsa. Any kind of salsa you like. Cover chicken with a few tablespoons of salsa and then cover with grated cheese. Mozzarella or cheddar. Bake 350 degrees for about 30-40 min. Serve with rice.
@Dr. John You can also cook the chicken breast as you always do and just before it’s ready to remove from the pan, add a couple of thin slices of tomato and a slice of provolone cheese on top of the tomato slices. Any seasonings you use for the chicken, sprinkle on top of the provolone cheese. Serve with white rice, mashed potato, baked potato or a side salad. Enjoy!! 🙌🏻🥰🐔🍅🧀
Nice, lol this is why I've been sluggish lately, I forgot to take my ginseng 바보 😂 definitely will reorder. It's no lie, I got some from S.korea and gave it to my mom and sis they love it. You feel so energetic and vitalised💪🏽. My favorite recipe is creamy mushrooms, spinash, chicken breast and cheese pasta 😅let's not talk about the calories. How I make it like how my mom taught me to cook, with your heart, nose and tastebuds obviously we using hands, utensils, pots and all gizmos during the process. One thing that I haven't cracked is smoothies,I'm a working progress. Cool video 👍🏽🫰🏽
I love how you made this cooking focused vlog! Your friend seems sweet & adorable and your food looks great & tasty👏also give turkey a try, my last dish was sliced turkey breasts with seasoning, mixed vegetables and a small portion of rice. I'm working on expanding my recipes too!
@@dr.johnyoo You can try it with the seasoning you use. For the turkey dish, I made my sauce, so I blended the red pepper, onion & garlic with water and added a bit of Peruvian chili pepper paste to give it a kick. If I'm not adding the paste then just regular complete seasoning.
The ad lib edits are funny They really add humour to the video Chicken breast can be bland but as long as you have a good seasoning to juzz it up - its all good
Hello Dr John Yoo, could you give a list of the products you use for your skincare routine ? I turned 28 and I feel like I need to have a good one asap! Probably should have started before tbh, but did not 😬
Thanks to this video Ive searched all your recommeded supplements, im on a health journey this year and ive been looking at Ginseng Supplements and which is the most authentically traditional and most highly effective ones on the markets and ive searched it up and yes, I can get it here in Aussie. If you add in tomatoes or tomatoe puree that'll turn into a good curry recipe but you'd need to add in a few spices too to make it tasty like a bit of powdered turmeric, coriander maybe chilli too if you like it hot. Pair that with some rice and that'd be real good.
When you were making fire jokes there, I was reminded me of 'Howl' s Moving Castle' Calcifier 🔥 for a moment.
An easy but tasty meal is skinless chicken roasted in salsa. Any kind of salsa you like. Cover chicken with a few tablespoons of salsa and then cover with grated cheese. Mozzarella or cheddar. Bake 350 degrees for about 30-40 min. Serve with rice.
drooling already...
So you're just gonna randomly feature a girl and NOT tell us more about her?!
stay tuned for Singles Inferno episode 11
😂
I was looking for this comment
I’m wondering too if this girl his girlfriend ?
It said Columbia friend lol
Highlight of your video: "If chicken breast were a person, I'd be married by now." 🤣
We love seeing improvement! No more dry chicken breast 👏
new chicken breast, new man
I love how you made this cooking focused vlog! Your friend seems sweet & adorable and your food looks great & tasty👏also give turkey a try, my last dish was sliced turkey breasts with seasoning, mixed vegetables and a small portion of rice. I'm working on expanding my recipes too!
that sounds very doable. what do you put on ur turkey ?
@@dr.johnyoo You can try it with the seasoning you use. For the turkey dish, I made my sauce, so I blended the red pepper, onion & garlic with water and added a bit of Peruvian chili pepper paste to give it a kick. If I'm not adding the paste then just regular complete seasoning.
Iam Morocco lady but I love Korean people . They are so organise polite . Dr John you are a good man .
For better knife safety, please curl the finger tips [ completely under ] and slide the knife against the second finger segment.

The ad lib edits are funny
They really add humour to the video
Chicken breast can be bland but as long as you have a good seasoning to juzz it up - its all good
Wow... The food looks delicious🤤 and love your vids Dr. Yoo👍🏻
Hello Dr John Yoo, could you give a list of the products you use for your skincare routine ? I turned 28 and I feel like I need to have a good one asap! Probably should have started before tbh, but did not 😬
Have you cooked japchae before? Easy way to add lots of veggies into lower carb noodles.

Thanks to this video Ive searched all your recommeded supplements, im on a health journey this year and ive been looking at Ginseng Supplements and which is the most authentically traditional and most highly effective ones on the markets and ive searched it up and yes, I can get it here in Aussie. Food looks bland at first, but when you are on a health kick, food cooked is just tasty, ive just come back from holiday's and although we did alot of physical activities but, food wise, not so good, which is a kick in the face, because Ive been doing well for 3mnths, lost heaps and well ill see when I get back to the gym again and see where I am at. Love your content.
Cooking can also be an interesting hobby after watching you..
