What are the diffrences between thermostatic & non thermostatic. Also the wrx does have a built in oil temp gauge. Will this oil cooler fit with a front brace?
The difference is a thermostat to help regulate the oil temp and prevent overcooling. You shouldn't have any fitment issues.
Can your Mishimoto FMIC fit in together with this oil cooler?
Yes, the FMIC fits with the Mishimoto radiator and oil cooler.
How will the oil cooler affect oil pressure?
If anything, a very slight decrease, but nothing that will negatively affect the vehicle.
Does this have a way to connect an oil pressure gauge?
Yes, the thermostatic sandwich plate includes NPT ports for pressure or temp sensors
Any problem if the car already have an air oil separator? With oil presure or the hoses?
We have not tested this with competitor's products. Sorry!
Can we keep the OEM oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich adapter?
The non-thermostatic version will retain the OEM cooler; the thermostatic version we offer replaces it.
Should I upgrade the factory one or will it not make a difference?
This is not something we have tested. Sorry!
Can this be installed on the opposite side?
Assuming you are looking to move the cooler to an alternate location here. We'd suggest measuring the length of lines needed to ensure they'll reach.
Would this fit with the ETS 3inch FMIC?
We have not tested with products from our competitors.
My thoughts exactly. Our intercooler piping uses the same route and I know clearance with the pipe is now extremely tight.
Does this kit work on the wrx gt.
Should work on all 22+ WRXs
If already use a front intercooler, can use an oil cooler?
We have not tested this with our competitors parts
Will this fit w the 3.5inch ETS FMIC and CSF radiator?
Unfortunately, we do not test our products with those of our competitor's. Sorry!
