It's such a fantastic stroke of luck that we got a simmer who truly understands The Sims 2 lore to design this lot! You did an incredible job navigating the limited lot size and flawlessly adapting the house to Romanian architectural styles. I especially loved how you used the basement to add layers to the storytelling-such a brilliant touch! Even though The Sims 4 takes place in an alternate universe (hence Nervous Subject still being called Nyon and living with his mother), I really appreciate how you preserved that eerie undertone in Olive’s complex relationship with Grim. Plus, it makes perfect sense that, since Olive is younger in this version, her graveyard is relatively small... for now! I can’t wait to start filling it up, just like you hinted! Haha
Thank you so much for your comment, it means a lot! 🥺❤️ The Sims 2 lore was sooo interesting! I hope they keep adding more of the old iconic characters and lore to TS4. And yes, I was imagining this being at the beginning of her k*lling spree hehe... Let me know how many gravestones you can fit 😏
I was waiting for this upload. The return of Nervous Subject was a HUGE reason I even bought this pack. My poor tormented gay boy! And yes, he is. Canonically. Back in The Sims 2, Nervous was the only premade sim in the game with a hard coded preference for males. It's also heavily implied that he has a crush on Pascal Curious. But I'm off topic. I love the build! And the fact you made it 3 bedrooms, so we can manually add Ophelia back in (since Maxis released a version of her for this pack on their Gallery) without having to redesign the house to add another bedroom. Great job! I absolutely adore this build. I just wish it was a bigger lot so we could have has a pool added in back or something.
I didn't know he was the only one in TS2, that's so interesting! Thanks for sharing 😄 Is his romance/se*ual preferences set to male sims in TS4 too? I haven't checked it out for myself. And thank you for your kind words! I also wish the lot was bigger (would have loooved to make a bigger graveyard etc), but adding Ophelia to the guest bedroom is such a good idea 😍
@@sofythesim His gender preference in TS4 seems to be set to neutral in both instances (as both Nyon Specter, and as Nervous Subject in the Beaker household on Maxis' gallery). I'm a bit of a simp for Nyon/Nervous because I love the punk look, but also I just think he's iconic as the first canonically gay sim.
Thank you for watching and your comment! ❤️ Ahh, that's good to know! I'll most likely share the third video as well, but I really want to share some "normal" builds here now too, so it will probably be a bit longer before I do! But I hope you're gonna like my other builds as well 🥰
EA need to do this more in the future I’ve noticed this pack is so much more detailed you can see the love that went into it then you go into older packs and some of the builds are just pathetic
I've been waiting to see this build. I love it! It's nice to have a builder who played with TS2 Specters too. They're one of my favourite families and this house fits them perfectly. I've already changed the spare room to move in teen Ophelia 🖤
I had a feeling this house was made by a creator!! I haven't played much of the pack bc of work but i was invited over by Layne Coffin and i was SOOO surprised at how beautiful the home was! Definitely not like the average EA build 😅

That basement is such a surprise! I’m glad EA OK’d it!

I would enjoy watching your other Life and Death build. You talking about the build brings so much more to it than simply looking at it in game.
Thanks for letting me know! I’m happy to hear that my rambling brings some kind of value, haha! 🙈
Hahaha such a fun TS2 adoption story💛
I love the basement addition, very clever! I can't get the pack for a while so I'd love to see the third build.
Another amazing build !! Thanks for sharing :3
Notifications on for ur next uploads !

It's so beautiful 💕✨
The basement was a great extra space, haha, well done. :D
Thank you, haha! I'm glad you like it 😄
Oh I had only visited this house to chat with Nyon! I didn't fully explore so i didn't see the basement. But I thought it was a beautiful house ❤
You'll have to pay Nyon another visit 😄 Thank you so much! ❤️

The house looks extremely awesome! I absolutely love the story behind it, it gives me true crime vibes
Thank you! True crime vibes, I love that!! 🥹
