2022 Touring Car Masters, Round 1 SMP, John Bowe

The 2nd round of TCM is fast approaching so here is a teaser from Round 1 at a very sodden Sydney Motorsport Park. I just love reverse grid races and JB never disappoints...! Starting 2nd last, he casually picks them off, leaving the last pass to the last lap to take the win. Turn up the sound and enjoy.

What an excellent drive! Calculated, precise and smooth! Even using the rev limiter to keep momentum up for that extra second or just short shifting when closely following. What a pleasure to watch. Great Driver.

John seemed to be hitting the rev limiter a lot approaching corners, and I thought it was costing him time. Then when he passed the Mustang on the last lap he changed up for a few seconds and by avoiding the limiter he got past him.
