I followed DTM, because of the Kiwi guy racing in the Red Bull car,, hated the ending,when the South African guy ran into him,, going to say,that will be my one and only season I will watch DTM racing,
Those in charge,and the way,the German manufacturers worked together in the last round was pretty appalling,,
Pleased,supercars are back,best car racing ever,better than F1 World Rally, I do love the Bike races as well,,
GT3 is what is keeping that Championship alive
*I'm SO HAPPY that the Supercars are BACK for a New Season!* I watched it LIVE & loved every second! Amazing coverage of some fabulous driving/performances! The new (untested) SS Tyres really added to the intrigue & excitement (regarding strategy)! I really hoped for Tim Slade to finish higher (after qualifying so well); I was pleased to see that Will Brown is living up to his potential (strategy issue in this particular race). I'm gutted for Cam Waters (so rare for him to be non-competitive) & Scott Pye (such bad luck with that Power Steering issue)! However, Shane has been my favourite driver for many years now, so I'm VERY happy he won! *Thank You & Well Done Supercars!* Warmest regards from Scotland, Peter x😁❣👍👍👍

It was great being able to watch the support races live. Being able to watch them means that when a driver is promoted to the main series, they're not starting from 0 again.

Next season is gonna be lit American muscles on Australian racing series 💪
Gizzy is a class act and stands a cut above the rest. To win by 19 seconds in those conditions says alot and the other drivers should be worried. Good to see young Broc get in the top 10 in his first official top class race. I can't see anyone giving Gizzy a good challenge for the title this year, I think it will be a fight for 2nd and 3rd with Gizzy sitting well clear in the top spot.
It is early days though, and Anton has a pretty damn good look in
@@nhraandnascarfanatic5907 Anton is another great driver but to be 19 seconds down isn't a good confidence builder. I think Anton will be fighting it out with Chaz for the end of year standings with Gizzy on top. Early days but hey we can all have our opinions and see what happens on track, it will be a great year of racing ahead that's for sure

Go to the Supercars website and you can purchase superview 2022 and that gives you access to the whole broadcasts. I’m in the UK and pay £6 a month for it.

Only on 2023 will debut the next Gen cars
The teams still need time to build and test their own.
delayed because of Covid. some teams are based in NSW and Vic which were in lockdown and the racing was in QLD and Darwin so they couldn't work on the new car between races.
@@nickycrea6075 thanks for the info. That makes sense. I'm South African and have been watching some of the Aussie V8 supercars on RUclips. Personally I think this series is one of the best racing series we have today. It's certainly in my top 3.

COVID supply issues delayed the new cars until next year, it's likely V8 Supercars won't survive much longer either sadly, with TCR maybe taking the 1000.

I just hope this ain’t another runaway championship like it’s been for the last 5 years with Scotty and Shane.
Shane's out there to win & he's rather good at it. Scot keeps Shane honest. If the rest of the field can't keep up with those two, they need to look at why & fix it. In the longer races, the front runners have to carve a path through the stragglers... That's where the action really hits high heat. It would be boring if the whole field all travelled at the same pace. You might as well watch traffic on the highway. Those front runners are averaging higher velocities than all those behind them. They're taking the greatest risks & sticking their necks out further. Because they do that so well, they deserve to win.

I'm sure they could fit more advertising on those cars somewhere but where. The only place I've seen more ads on cars is in South America, Brazilian Stock cars. Make Racing Great Again, limit decals to 5 pounds per car.

What does the flashing orange light mean on the cars?
I could be wrong here but I think it means your not on the lead lap or something. There is info on the Supercars website that I read ages ago. There is also a red light too
