I just learned about this series from a random youtube recommendation. This is such a fun series to watch! Thanks to the Robby Gordon for creating it, for the sponsors for keeping it going, and the SST and CBS teams for uploading it for our viewing fun!
I feel like Super Trucks could wind up being the kind of race type motor sports needed to really bring people back. Willing to do dirt and now also asphalt, with collectives together and running jumps despite asphalt? It's fantastic. The lean of the trucks with tire up, the impacts an expectation yet injury count so low for so much power and speed. It's just more balanced for entertainment than probably could've been done intentionally. Like a glorious mistake that lead to needed innovation.
@@Lollburger88 They're actually pretty tiny. That's what it is lol. Plus they're very, VERY simple - LS engines, straight rear axle, massive IFS, and a steel cage - which makes them hella cheap for a team to run. $250K a season is chump change in the racing world. Not only that, the emphasis on driver control and ease of mechanical grip setup over machining advantages for power makes for really fun racing.
@@waxpants I may look into that. As it is I'm pondering getting an xbox this generation since it can play so much of the generations of back logs. A shame Bloody Roar Extreme isn't on that back log though. Meanwhile I wish SONY would get their head out of their collective @$$#0|3$ and make a new MOTORSTORM game. But with the way they're already losing the east this generation and their trash handling of scalpers, I'm not sure if SONY is going to wise up any time soon.
Any series which has a truck go on two wheels during a race lap is a good series. I wonder how hard it would be to make a faux- sst. Streetable. Turns out that these trucks are the size of first gen s10s, first gen rangers, and early Toyota picks.

Thank you guys so much for uploading these races
Robby gordon absolutely outdid himself on this series; wish I could get these races on cable
i love Australia specialy for your racing culture !!!
Pretty sure it's an American series, Robby Gordon started it. I do love v8sc's though.
Unintentional two wheels mid-race. Man this series is gnarly 16:18
I like a lot of different kinds of racing. And this is definitely one of my favorites. Probably in my top 3
Great racing! I want to see more of this.
Seeing these on 3 wheels is not unusual, but that track preview and the driver not being able to see the track on 3 wheels. DAMN!
I'm still very amazed at those jumps, truly a huge show element here. Do they receive points for that? Because they can drive around them and all.
I'd assume they aren't allowed to skip jumps unless absolutely required for safety. Point deduction or penalty.
Damn that jump at 5:40
Paul Potts.... Didn't he win Britains got Talent in 2007??? Talented man!
Thank you!
Hard Racing
this is what WE want!
Those 3 flying trucks in the thumbnail 😯
What video games cover the super trucks series? We have any yet?
I think DiRT Rally does, but I think it's dirt tracks.
forza 4 actually does it best plus theres tons of other off road stuff

Robby Gordon is a one-man show in the world of motorsports.
sorry im new to spectating super trucks, but I wanna know whats the point in doing well in qualifiers then? if it just puts you back?
I never knew. This is fuckin awesome. I'm hyped over those ramp jumps lol.

I think its and Evo mate.
@@GS300Aaron yeah its an evo
How does the transmission work on these cars?
3 speed automatic with a manual valve body. Beefy stuff.
Who need a lowerider to do a 3 wheel when you got a super truck
Boost Mobile Stadium Super Trucks Powered By Speed Energy.... what a short name! ;)
Gotta keep the people writing the checks happy!
I see they are jumping about 6-8 truck lengths. Definitely not the length of a football field
I’m surprised there’s enough of them left alive to continue racing after 14 rounds
this would make nascar a lot more entertaining
