The best motorsport i have ever seen! when these beautiful cars were new the cameras couldn't give us these amazing shots. Australian commentators are also really nice.
@@williamking8684 and besides, even if they were real bodies, it would take a lot more than just running into someone's rear bumper to make one of those fenders come loose... That's how tough those classics were built.
Both are great. V8 Supercars are so much faster and provide more intense action, but now that there's no Aussie Falcon vs Commodore battles it's less interesting from the cars perspective. This here is a little slower paced but the classic cars make up for it. Great fun watching the classics battle it out.
I've been a huge motorsports fan for over 40 years, but I don't think of auto racing when I hear something like "White Line Racing"! Makes me get the sniffles... 😵😵
I love the coverage otherwise, but hate that these Oz broadcasts just list the drivers and their team names when going through the grid. I really would like to know the makes of these cars in at least some of the races.
So much for boring v8 supercars, this is where the action is. John Bowe is a well accomplished driver in a fiercely fought category and not forgetting that he is one of the poineers of TCM.
A well accomplished driver should know better than down the dirty side of the track on the first corner of lap 1. Wrecked it for others. And gets praised by the commentators because he admitted it. Go pay for their damage. He is only a pioneer and has a heap of wins because he took a highly funded car to what was an amateur series.
All the right ingredients for real classic car enthusiasts racing yet Australian corporate manage to turn this into another V8 supercar clone. The cars are the stars not the sponsors or the bloody commentators.
Joseph Stalin in a perfect world yes. I understand the necessity of sponsorship to fund teams but the balance is off. An example that I think is relevant being RUclips it has enabled car enthusiasts to show case their passion without all the fluff that mainstream media thinks makes viewing more pleasurable. @@darkchild130 Ahhh, dynacorn bodies. Makes perfect sense too as those don't come with a VIN making them hard to put on the street but they'd make perfect race cars.
That first corner crash was all "JB's" fault. Don't understand why he gets a free pass for that kind of driving? I get he's a legend, but that was rough. It isn't stockcars is it?
@@maddpeanut6313 well it makes me happy they are keeping the cars alive and using them but it also kinda makes me sad that they are being destroyed so damn quickly. I mean if they are using reproduction body pannels then it's fine but original bodies seems kinda wasteful to just throw on race cars tht are guaranteed to crash eventually
@@joodlebug I'd imagine the opposite could also be argued. To some it'd be a waste to not race them and have them only to use to take to sunday brunch.
2:15 No. 18, the black and white car, could not have made that corner at that speed if there had been no cars on the track. WTF was he thinking? Edit: He apologises at 10:48. Good for him. I'm sure the other drivers appreciate it.
All the experts can not see that John Bowes was in front. The Torana just went into side of JB.The red Mustang just kept going. I expected better driving from all of them.
Rusty is 100% right. Though Bowe has been a loose cannon for decades. Drivers standard? Tell him to load and leave! Power steering? For 10 lap races. Simply girls!!
That first start looked like something out of the C class DR room in GTSport...amateur hour up the inside on T1 and ruining everyones race. Guy should be penalized for races ahead for that bs. Great track crew leaving gravel everywhere to get embedded in the tires.
Aussie motorsports rule. Touring cars, V8 Supercars, Stadium trucks, Super utes... All GREAT stuff! I am so sick and tired of NASCAR it's ridiculous. I used to love American stock car racing, but over the years, the powers that be have irreparably ruined it for everyone.
I hope JB paid for the smash repairs! He's too experienced for that incident to occur! There was no way on this earth he was ever gonna make the cut inside!!!
That has got to be a record on a crash replay. Would love to see the guy in the Camaro beat the snot out of the shitty driver that put him in the gravel.
The best motorsport i have ever seen! when these beautiful cars were new the cameras couldn't give us these amazing shots. Australian commentators are also really nice.
Im really glad I just spent 20 minutes of my life to watch 5 minutes of racing.
It hurts seeing these old beauties getting mangled up, but I love seeing them driven in anger.
these are reproductions so no authentic steel
no worries, all reproduction bodies for sure!
Thank the lord they’re repro bodies
@@williamking8684 and besides, even if they were real bodies, it would take a lot more than just running into someone's rear bumper to make one of those fenders come loose... That's how tough those classics were built.

Hey "supercars", THIS is what people WANT to see. REAL cars, REAL racing. BLOODY BRILLIANT
Here here..
Safety laps is real racing ...?
Old TCM are good... I'll agree to that, but not these new(er) ones. Too much safety.

@Mr Awesome cars for sale in Aussie
@Mr Awesome like commodore and falcon - they don`t exist at least ford went to the trouble of producing a car that is still available in Au
Love seeing old school muscle cars on the track again that brings back great memories
I love the agressive
driving seen in this
series, unlike any
other classic/vintage
car racing I've seen
Wow, real racing with real cars
Love it! Thanks for upload
JB for what it's worth you are up there with the best. Everyone makes mistakes owning them makes you an absolute legend. Keep racing.
Put JB in go karts..Always got to wreck someone..
Best racing in the world coming from down under! SUPER Trucks are awesome fun too! Hat's off guys, good show!
Love these races. The diversity, rawness. Also loved watching two Camaro's take each other out.
Them Fightin words boy! 😂 😂 😂
I would love to see this in the USA. The cars look great! Thank you for sharing.
Who else prefers this over the v8 supercars?

they are racing hard
They look like old Trans-Am cars I love it
Give me the old muscle cars anytime over those generic soupcars.
Everyone!!!(c) Gary Oldman
This seems like something that would be more popular in America. Damn Australians are badass.
Thanks for the upload it's not often I get to see real racing.
I love these cars! Exciting to watch and fast as shit through the turns...
Tilley's Valiant is the biz!
Thanks 🙏
Great quality video footage mate!
🇨🇦
All of them are dream cars! !!! Really would like to have a chance to race with them !!!!!
Id be happy with any but that Ford Fairlane did look nice...
Fantastic wheel to wheel racing!!!
Right then...we're just outside the top 3... but we can make it up in the first corner.....
A beleza e robustez dessas máquinas V8 na pista em alta velocidade é Sensacional !!!🤘
Good shit! First few minutes in I wanted to change it... then they all run for that hole shot 😂😂😂
Thank you!! I needed this so bad being on lockdown.
I enjoyed that! Greetings from England!
These guys really race!
Thanks again this is a great channel
Be nice to see this and Supercars live in the US
Stupid by Bowe. "You can't win a race on Lap 1". No more truer words spoken.
But you can jump three cars and then win the race after that.
Couple guys went all Wreckfest at turn 1. Commendable 'til the wrecker comes out to you!
The Valiant.
Loving this from Vancouver, Canada!!! My Favourite is the Pacer Valiant Cam Tilley drives, is he still using that twin cam Six?
Cam Tilley Pacer is now Mopar V8.
Thanks!!!
Gregory Parker no mate,W2 headed smallblock. And the six was a single ohv engine.
omg thanks for the upload*-*
Great racing category!
be good if when listing the drivers and start positions if they said what cars they were driving
What is this and why am i just seeing this badassery for the first time
Excelente video, hermosa categoría, felicitaciones, sigan asi
Wheres the Falcon XB?
Good on JB for owning up to that one. Quite like the bloke tbh.
Mad respect to him, its all too common in racing that you see people blaming each other before themselves.

Helluva drug.
I like them mustangs, is it possible that you can enter one but right hand drive?
Sweeping gravel doesn't get any better than this!

Let's see these guys on tv not the 'supercars'
These are Supercars, and proper cars. More of a Stock Car than a NASCAR. Would love to see these race in the states.

Where do they get spare parts from? I think not all the cars have new parts

In a 10 lap race is more than half are being run under safety. Just reset grid and restart race with remaining cars.
Ford Chevy or GM?
Why are they only 8 laps. Seems kinda pointless.

All that pure unadulterated horsepower......hmmmmmm medicinal

When you cant drive, just over drive the 1st corner and dont worry bout anyone else.

Maybe the circuit design that leads to such a first corner mess should be questioned.
