Perhaps the most popular feature race category at the Adelaide 500, 'TCM' sees former fan favourites from the Supercars series jump behind the wheel of favourite Aussie Muscle cars like Ford GTs, BOSS Mustangs, Chevie Camaros, Chrysler Chargers, Holden Monaros and Toranas and Porsche 911s. These big machines are the V8s of yesteryear, driven by the gurus of yesteryear. See names like John Bowe, Steven Richards and Steve Johnson among others running these legendary vehicles at the Superloop Adelaide 500.
This race organization would do very well in the US, where there is a huge untapped market of people that want to see real production and muscle cars race. How have they not thought about that? 330,000,000 potential customers.
This is where nascar needs to get back to. Instaead of cookie cutter cars with decals.And loose the desstruction deby driving.
I'm saying it again. This stuff is the best road racing going. It should make some money. It's the best show in town.
Nascar is the equivalent of WWE wrestling. It has been for decades. The last remnant of actual racers and real life racing died when Dale died. All racing, other than this touring car masters, is nothing but pointless 200mph billboards. And it needs to change.
"TCM engine" Great now they have made this category boring as well by making all the cars run the same engines....When they show the grid they only mention the driver and sponsor..no mention of the car type.....it is not footy...people actually watch car racing because they like the cars...
seeing old cars race is far more entertaining to watch compared to todays racing. I'd rather see this than watch F1
Is good, is Touring Car Masters. I agree with Blake ramp up the lap numbers per race. Actually replace supercars after 2021 with TCM! Great race and top racing.
