I would still advise to tape your hands for training. After taping hands it is a game changer with how much better your hands feel with tape and wraps

I have a 120 size wrap but because my hands are smaller than yours I had extra material to wrap. I made it work though. I just did a figure 8 around my hand until I got to the end and finished it by wrapping the last part around my wrist.

You go between you’r fingers because it holds the knuckle padding there when you slide ur glove on.
You don’t need it but it helps keep it in place

I'd have to agree with you. Some people don't realize the difference when buying so it's still practical and good to know how to wrap with the shorter version. I always opt for the 180" to get the extra protection
