Absolutely brilliiant! I have a PNE25JGKBKWW and was told that the spring for my mullion/flapper was no longer manufactured and not available anywhere in the world. I bought this spring, followed your instructions and it works perfectly. Only differences for my fridge is that there is only one spring, and the removal screws are Phillips-head. I'm so happy that, with the doors sealing properly, I'm not going to have to thaw out the condenser every two weeks! Thanks again!
Where to source the plastic insert that fits into the flapper hole into which the spring fits? Looks like a little golf tee but has a tiny hole in it into which the spring fits.

@@appliancepartspros the model# is GNE25JSKNFSS. I have a pic of the plastic insert but I don’t know how to send you a picture. This fridge flapper only requires one spring, which I got from Amazon, which I installed yesterday. It works ok but the spring does scrape the side of the flapper indention where the spring fits. I used some beeswax to resolve this issue. I don’t know how often I will have to wax this in the future. Thanks
Unfortunately, that piece is only available with the flapper. That part number is WR17X25027. You place the order through the website or you can call us at 1-877-477-7278 to place the order over the phone.
ge cafe french door refrigerator; how do I determine. My door flapper won't pop out everytime I close the left door so that the right door can seal. I have to manually extend the flapper then close the rightside door. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
After replacing the spring as shown, the flapper sdoes not close all the way, and the left door cannot close without opening the right door as the flapper catches
Hello, do you know the correct spring part number for GNE25JMKKFES? Replacement I got on Amazon had to be trimmed and it still rubs against the plastic. Thank You.
If it's the spring on the mullion that goes between the doors that you are talking about. That part is not available separately from the mullion. The mullion part number is WR17X25027. You can place that order on our website, or you can call us at 1-877-477-7278 to place the order over the phone.
Did you seriously just unplug a connector by pulling on the WIRES? You need to go back to man school to learn the basics. You NEVER pull on wires to separate plugs! I can't believe someone in your line of business would actually publish a "How To" video with such a rookie mistake!
Just being lazy, yanking on the wiring harness by the wires, this comment is so on point and you people need to get somebody that's understandable doing these videos or put subtitles in...boo... won't be supporting this channel.

As always, it's not so simple. The door on my GE has plastic plugs/caps. Maybe the screws are beneath those, but I can't see how to remove them.
What is the model number of your fridge?
@@appliancepartspros Thanks for the reply. Already fixed. Didn't even have to remove the door part.
Glad you were able to get your appliance fixed. If we can help you in the future please let us know.
