Doubt I'll be doing another one for awhile but, thanks for the request. Your video of the full concert is THE most important concert film in the Chicago archive. It captures them at their best and is a true treasure to fans of their early work like me. Poem for the People especially as you just don't see it anywhere else. That's a good question! Creatively, it was just about the challenge to see how close I could get it. But deeper down, I think it's because as much as I love Kath & early Chicago, I've always been a little, just a little, disappointed in their live performances. They were never as precise as the studio and I guess I'm trying to satisfy a fantasy of seeing how they looked when they performed in studio. Tanglewood is amazing, though. I love it! Just was trying to attempt something different.
