Really good no flash, fancy clothes, product sales just focusing on good controlled techniques. I've watched a few videos and very impressed. Stay true!
@seguiriya1 You need to look cool to be an influencer. That's like, the main (or only?) requisite. Hurricane is saying that StrSide is not trying hard enough (to be an influencer --he can be a good coach even in falling pants). On the other hand, it didn't take long for him to start selling stuff and abandoning its videos... (even when the referral link is broken!)
The dude is good at what he does I don’t even notice what he’s wearing? As for him promoting stuff, shit, why not? Mans got to make a living, don’t mean he’s selling his soul. Never ceases to amaze me the types of comments that come from the most innocuous video of a dude, in his garage, showing you a few exercises?
@@kevinotoole885 Right! He links the equipment that he is using in his videos. Not selling about of unnecessary crap. Guaranteed if he didn't post the there would be people asking. Where did you get your bands? SMH.....🙄😁😄
Dude you have humbled me to the max!!!! I’ve practiced samurai Ju Jitsu for 16 years and the rings and some of the movement videos have been so challenging!!! Didn’t anticipate how hard some of it is. Sonkei 🙏🏻
I couldn’t hold the hollow body hold for more than 3 seconds the first time! Now I can hold it between 10-15 seconds! I followed your advice on your abs video to do it 3-4 times a week....and I feel great! Thanks again. Your videos are very easy to follow along with.
Just wanted to say, I’ve struggled with shoulder blade pain on my left side for years and the second to last exercise is the best exercise I’ve seen for targeting the specific area I’m weak in. Thank you so much for these movements!
One of the best shoulder health videos on RUclips, even if you're not an avid fitness enthusiast, I'm pretty sure this could help people of all fitness levels for preventing upper back and shoulder pain. Nice video, loving your beginner workouts and rings work.
I have been facing problems with my shoulder for ages. I play tennis and that extremely messes up with the techniques. This video shows a new hope. Thank you...
You are by far my favorite health and wellness RUclipsr!!! Me and my brother constantly share your new videos to each other and stretch everyday. Thankyou for the quality and effort you put into each video
First time in a long time when I can feel all the profound layers firing up while targeting the back, and not just those crazy hyperactive upper traps. Such a great video Josh!
Gotta say I start one video and keep finding more videos that I want to watch. They are exactly what I've been looking for for my training interests. Awesome content man.
Fantastic...seemingly simple....but actually very challenging movements. Thank you. I’m a pianist, so my time spent sitting is quite long. I’ve learned to take more frequent breaks, but mobility workouts like yours are helping me get more movement which translates to more freedom at the piano....and better sounding music! Thanks very much.
Hi Josh from France. I'm following almost daily your advice since 2 months , i'm on may way to my shoulder blades and this is not easy to feel and free this area. Because of 20 years of tennis i have a big laxity difference between the right side and the left side. On my right i'm starting to play with my shoulder blade , i can feel it and move it up and down. On the contrary on my left i can feel the stiffness of my joints and ligaments. I guess there’s nothing else to do but work and work again to hope, one day, rebalance my upper body :(
This is looking really great! Is this the follow along warm up routine mentioned in 'Rings Workout Beginner Level for Building Strength and Mass'/Strength Side Ring Routine #1?
Great video, just doing these exercise believe in me when I say, you have to do it to get the feel of the motion and I felt all my back muscles work, keep up with the phenomenal videos peace. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
If you find your connection to your shoulder blades is weak... every day with a lighter band. If your form is pretty good and you just want to develop more strength in these patterns... every other day with a bit heavier band.
Strength Side so they told me that like i moved my hands straight up and they had this thing on my back and apparently one of my shoulder blades like it moves quicker likes it's not stable or something like that
I have the same problem when i pushup or pullup i feel weard in my right scapula like its not on the right place, feel like it making different move not like left side
Great video. A nice and relaxing alternative to the usual noisy gym fitness videos - love the music. I love that your really hone in on how to position and manipulate the scapula during the movements, as a lot of fitness videos miss out on those little details, yet they can make all the difference in how a movement feels. I have a few questions if you don't mind: I can't seem to get my arms directly overhead and touching the floor in the deadbug exercise. I've struggled with this forever and have been stretching my anterior side, lats and doing thoracic extension drills with no improvement. Should I just lower as much as I can and hold the stretch or do it in a more dynamic rep fashion within my own range? Same as with the floor slides, I can't get my wrists to touch the floor. Related to the last issue, with the y raises I also can't get straight overhead so same question, should I just use the range I have or is it not beneficial? Thank you.
Thanks Geralt! Use the range you have, in time, your range will improve if you are training towards the end of your range of motion. Also consider spending a good amount of time with this stretch - ruclips.net/video/kvCdPfEFfNg/видео.html
Such a great video & routine. Really appreciate you sharing this. Currently going through PT for my shoulders and needed a good routine to improve scapular movement. This was perfect. How often would you recommend to do this routine if trying to improve shoulder blade activation?
Hi... When I was doing this exercise I think one of the nerve got punched inbetween the spine...I'm facing severe pain around scapula and it runs through shoulder till my finger tips...since a month I've tried somany painkiller medicines but no use could you suggest me som stretches to relieve it...🙏🙏🙏
Normal human body needs this to be normal, truly helpful considering deformities and illness are things you live with these days, can you find a way to do everything without elasticity doing the job for you?or lying on the ground, your own weight..feet not touching the floor?
These are the bands I use: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CRLGJJQ/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00CRLGJJQ&linkCode=as2&tag=strengthside-20&linkId=4798200ddf1c3118483eef011ccad66f
Hey Josh, you've an amazing collection of videos. I was just wondering what seven videos would be a perfect daily routine to completly opening my body. I definitly wanna put a lot of focus on the shoulders. I wanna get into bodyweight training and lifting even more then im already doing but I've got two bad shoulders. The tendons seem to click into the joint and give a sharp pain when I try to raise anything.
Hey man, When I try the straight arm retraction and protraction I get a pinch or catch in the front of the shoulder. Any specific tips or ques to help prevent this?
Hello sorry Do you have an exercise posture for the side shoulders, back shoulders, back and traps bot upper, middle, lower and low back in a calisthenic style?🤔
Another nice video. I have issues with my right shoulder sort of rolling forward, (scapular winging?) when I bench or do pushups. The next day I'll be sore in my left pec and right shoulder. As I didn't want to exaggerate this imbalance, I have given up working my chest directly. What bands are you using in the video and/or can you recommend any? Thanks! :)

Dang the link is broken. What's the name of the one you have?
I just tried the "pull apart" with a theraband... and ripped it in half. Oops.

@seguiriya1 referencing the fact he is obviously focused on the workout. It's ok no such thing as a stupid question.

With this exercise, very important to utilize "thumbs up", or "thumbs back". After all, we are working on external rotation, yes? Of course.

Make sure you hold your hand thumbs up and your scapula depressed. Sounds like shoulder impingement, not good.
Is this also good to use as a warmup?
A video on chest would be cool
Good !
Random question... do you avoid alcohol completely or do you drink sometimes? I know it can hold back your fitness goals, but is fun at times
Cool, how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
How about showing us what you eat in a day ....please.
Thanks for the suggestion Andrew.... I'll do something like that in the future :)
