I finished cancer treatment and was given remission yesterday. I was a martial artist practising karate but had to stop. Hopefully starting again soon. I don't think I will b able to do all your strength stuff but I have done this today and man u have no idea how good it feels having not really trained for so long. This has made a 62yr old very happy. I 8ntend to keep trying your stuff. Thank you from a happy Englishman 👌👍

I messaged you on FB to thank you for your videos! You have literally saved my bacon! I'm a homesteader, and over the winter a repeated back strain turned really bad, leaving me prone on the ground with back spasms in sub zero weather....I could barely move for a week after. I went to a doctor, and found it was just a really bad pull...he gave me a regiment of basic stretching and strength training exercises and a bottle of muscle relaxers. After a month of that, I was checking out similar exercises on youtube, and found Strength Side. I've incorporated a bunch of hip, back, and knee exercises into my own daily morning routine. About a week after, my back started getting tight and hurting again...so I backed off a little with the strength training, and kept up on the stretching.... Fast forward to this morning....it rained last night, and while outside, feeding my animals, my foot slipped a few inches in the mud (while carrying full buckets of food). This is exactly what set my back off over the winter....but today, nothing...my legs, hips and back are stronger AND more flexible...I still feel stiffness, and soreness, pretty much constantly, but it is slowly fading... Mobility isn't an issue, until you don't have it...then it seems it's everything! As such, you have been an inspiration here, and have changed my life in ways I never thought a few stretches could possibly do! Thank you!!!
This time has been a blessing in disguise. Im reading more, got better at basketball, more time with family, increased my flexabilty ( with help from you guys who were also discovered during this time), started practicing MMA, and changed career paths. What a year!

Like many here lockdown, home working and a slower pace is allowing my wife and I time to discover new ways of being, and encouraging us to care for our physical, spiritual and mental well being. This is what has led us to discover your channel and we’re loving the challenging but meditative tone of your daily work outs and stretches. Just wanted to check in and say hi, and thank you for what you’re doing. Strange how this pandemic is actually bringing people around the world closer through our isolation and allowing us and the planet to heal through this enforced shut down. Found you when trying to find a way to maintain my exercise routine in the absence of a gym (although I like your approach so much that I might just ditch the gym after the stay-at-home is all over). I also continue to practice yoga, stepping up the frequency now, and give more time to improving my Spanish and learning to speak French. Being nearly 70, I don't want to waste any of my remaining time.
Crazy to do this follow along 3 years later. Haven’t done it in like 2 years and listening to you talk about Covid brings back a lot of memories during the lock down times. Reflecting back, your videos really changed my life. My body is totally different 3 years later. Thank you so much!!

This quarantine has given me some time to reconnect with my body in a meaningful way. I used to practice capoeira but fell off a while ago. Your content is helping me connect with that kind of movement again.
And one more thing.......during the dancing frog, my leg doesn't even *almost* begin to lift off the ground, ha! But, I really appreciated your reminder that just making an attempt at such a move will engage and strengthen the body in new ways. I just discovered you and am only beginning to explore your content, but I'm excited about your holistic approach to development of the body and self.
Grateful to have found you for wonderful exercises, I am edging towards 70 and as you mention in your videos, I want mobility 🥳👣🐾🤣💕70 years of age will be inspiring, like my Dad who believed in being active, and enjoying life 😜🦋

Quar life sure has me looking after my body more, but also feeling tensed a lot more - this felt soo good just now, and inspired me to bring in some of these movements into my yoga practice and classes too! I have an incurable genetic illness that attacks my muscle and joint flexibility. The Strength Side videos are awesome inspiration. I can't do the exercises fully...... but it drives me on. After only 1 week I can get off my bed unaided. WOW! Thanks for keeping me real.
Really love the stretching. I'm a man that builds muscle very very easily even when just doing body weight training. With your classes, I maintain a good amount of mobility as well as strength. Please don't bring the world of the Covid into this positive environment. Many thanks.

Hi Josh, thank you for creating this routine. I've been doing it for a couple of weeks now. It really helps me to become more flexible, not only my the body, but also in my mind. To answer your question, I'm enjoying the cocooning at home together with my wife who's pregnant and our two other children. Next to this I have been focussing on building a place online where people can share their precious memories with their family in a private and safe way which I hope to launch early next year. The pandemic has given me room to focus on trying to build something positive which I really enjoy.
OK that was just what I needed. Currently working in a nursing home doing therapy with Covid+ patients who can't swallow their food safely. It's a high stress environment but I am making the most out of it, and this has actually helped me to maintain structure (e.g. eating healthy, going to bed early, and stretching in the am). This workout is going to start my day off feelin' good. Thanks my friend!

Hey Josh, Another well done video, thanks! I am 51 and have some advancing arthritis in my left hip and low back. This morning I woke up and it was throbbing... The kind of pain that makes you not want to move it but we all know that movement is key. Anyway I did a couple of sets of this very routine and I'm telling you I can face the day now! It is the combination of lengthening with muscle contraction that makes the difference. Stretching alone WILL NOT help conditions like mine... I hope this kind of approach is found by the masses. We need it!
Thing is here where I live, schools are still close, so my 3 kids are being homeschoold. We already spent almost all day together, sharing a lot. Now I have to teach them even how to read. It turned into my own "Aconcagua" to climb. A real trip into getting to be the best teacher and mother I can be. In the meantime I found your videos. Hello! I am really discipline yoga practitioner. I hurt my knee badly. Had surgery. In this painful 2 years time i lost all my flexibility and strength i had. 2020! Crazy year but in the past couple of months I've started to piece together a daily practice with a big thanks to you. Right now , I'm in 14 days mandatory hotel quarantine in Australia, im using the opportunity to get into a routine that I know I can follow through with on the outside!

@@mightyr9721 In Australia, our international borders have been closed since mid-March 2020 & will be til at least mid-Jun 2021, to prevent greater rates of Covid community transmission. Australians abroad are allowed to return here but are marched off the aeroplane by police or army staff into a hotel of the state government's choice (you cannot choose) & you are not allowed to leave your hotel room for 14 days, while regularly getting tested for Covid. There are police, army or security guarding each floor. Meals are delivered to your door but you have no choice re meals, although you can request meals catering for specific dietary requirements, like vegetarian, halal, etc. The state government covered the costs of the hotel rooms & food for the first few months, then the returning travellers were billed for their compulsory hotel quarantine stays after then. In Syd, the cost of a single adult returning from overseas & being quarantined for 2 weeks is currently $3000 AUD. If you are diagnosed with Covid during the 14 days compulsory quarantine period, your hotel stay is extended unti you test negative for Covid.

felt great!! Love the dancing frog I am definitely a lot more motivated to workout at home whereas previously my motivation only came from having a trainer at the gym. I feel more creative during this time to come up with workouts and to provide my body with activity all through the day instead of only for a certain time. I hope these habits persist into non-quarantimes.

OMG! I am repeating some of your stretching poses for hips almost every day last month and i have just found out that I am able to do pancake pose! I cannot believe. I was not able to touch the ground with my elbows between my legs and today I can touch the ground with my forehead! I have never done this! Thank you a lot! You are amazing! Been doing a few of your stretching routines and workouts for 2 weeks an d can already notice a difference. After moving from a very physical job to a desk job my body had stiffened up and lost strength. I already feel better in myself physically and mentally.
Being at home has led me back into my yoga practice seriously. From that routine I needed to build strength and happened upon your meditative strength training. It fit. It is exactly what my body needed. You're instructive style detailing exact body motions and muscles and the contracted slowness prevents injuries. It brings me into my body. Thankyou Josh. I am 68 and female and still learning.
I got came back from the gym and I was watching the 15 minute fully body follow along at the gym. Haven't exercised or even stretched in a while so I really felt the stretches. Good on you for making these videos. They're very helpful.
I've never been one to like workouts, so this was a great way to do something without it feeling like a burden, I loved it. And that cat stretch was amazing.
Hi, have just discovered your type of training and has caught me. I am a very sport person, I do wave windsurfing and soccer at a very competitive level (amateur) and I have been always looking for a training that work for me. before finding this, I was working out with TRX, however this is so much better for my body and mind, a lot better. Really loved this! As other people wrote down here i really like your aproach and metodology, always priorizing mobility and flexibility over strenght. Im not a flexible guy and also been experiencing some backpain and mobility loose in my right arm fingers (which is terrible bcs im a musician and really need those to be fast, strong and flexible. Hope that a little bit of excercise and this kind of stretches help me recover! Love
I a 30 day breast cancer survivor. I saw your video and thought yes healthy knows and stretching. My ankle needs strength and stretching would be great to see some of those. I am a walker and a jogger. I want my health and soul to start rebuilding.

since the end of February, i changed my diet, NO SUGAR, NO white, NO REFINED and started exercising 7 months later still going strong :)

Hi Josh, thank you for creating this routine. I've been doing it for a couple of weeks now. It really helps me to become more flexible, not only my the body, but also in my mind. To answer your question, I'm enjoying the cocooning at home together with my wife who's pregnant and our two other children. Next to this I have been focussing on building a place online where people can share their precious memories with their family in a private and safe way which I hope to launch early next year. The pandemic has given me room to focus on trying to build something positive which I really enjoy.
OK that was just what I needed. Currently working in a nursing home doing therapy with Covid+ patients who can't swallow their food safely. It's a high stress environment but I am making the most out of it, and this has actually helped me to maintain structure (e.g. eating healthy, going to bed early, and stretching in the am). This workout is going to start my day off feelin' good. Thanks my friend!

I am 51 and have some advancing arthritis in my left hip and low back. This morning I woke up and it was throbbing... The kind of pain that makes you not want to move it but we all know that movement is key. Anyway I did a couple of sets of this very routine and I'm telling you I can face the day now!
It is the combination of lengthening with muscle contraction that makes the difference. Stretching alone WILL NOT help conditions like mine... I hope this kind of approach is found by the masses. We need it!
Thing is here where I live, schools are still close, so my 3 kids are being homeschoold. We already spent almost all day together, sharing a lot. Now I have to teach them even how to read. It turned into my own "Aconcagua" to climb. A real trip into getting to be the best teacher and mother I can be. In the meantime I found your videos. Hello! I am really discipline yoga practitioner. I hurt my knee badly. Had surgery. In this painful 2 years time i lost all my flexibility and strength i had. 2020! Crazy year but in the past couple of months I've started to piece together a daily practice with a big thanks to you. Right now , I'm in 14 days mandatory hotel quarantine in Australia, im using the opportunity to get into a routine that I know I can follow through with on the outside!

Could you please explain me what means "hotel quarantine"? Did the government specifically moved you to a hotel? You were traveling and got stuck in a hotel?... What happened?

@@mightyr9721 In Australia, our international borders have been closed since mid-March 2020 & will be til at least mid-Jun 2021, to prevent greater rates of Covid community transmission. Australians abroad are allowed to return here but are marched off the aeroplane by police or army staff into a hotel of the state government's choice (you cannot choose) & you are not allowed to leave your hotel room for 14 days, while regularly getting tested for Covid. There are police, army or security guarding each floor. Meals are delivered to your door but you have no choice re meals, although you can request meals catering for specific dietary requirements, like vegetarian, halal, etc. The state government covered the costs of the hotel rooms & food for the first few months, then the returning travellers were billed for their compulsory hotel quarantine stays after then. In Syd, the cost of a single adult returning from overseas & being quarantined for 2 weeks is currently $3000 AUD. If you are diagnosed with Covid during the 14 days compulsory quarantine period, your hotel stay is extended unti you test negative for Covid.

I am definitely a lot more motivated to workout at home whereas previously my motivation only came from having a trainer at the gym. I feel more creative during this time to come up with workouts and to provide my body with activity all through the day instead of only for a certain time. I hope these habits persist into non-quarantimes.

Been doing a few of your stretching routines and workouts for 2 weeks an d can already notice a difference. After moving from a very physical job to a desk job my body had stiffened up and lost strength. I already feel better in myself physically and mentally.

Being at home has led me back into my yoga practice seriously. From that routine I needed to build strength and happened upon your meditative strength training.
It fit. It is exactly what my body needed. You're instructive style detailing exact body motions and muscles and the contracted slowness prevents injuries. It brings me into my body. Thankyou Josh. I am 68 and female and still learning.

I am a very sport person, I do wave windsurfing and soccer at a very competitive level (amateur) and I have been always looking for a training that work for me. before finding this, I was working out with TRX, however this is so much better for my body and mind, a lot better. You give clear instruction and demonstration and your voice is soothing and natural. While your physique and style alone would intimidate me a bit, you don't come across as pretentious at all, and I love the sincere encouragement you give with just a touch of playfulness. Really loved this! As other people wrote down here i really like your aproach and metodology, always priorizing mobility and flexibility over strenght. Im not a flexible guy and also been experiencing some backpain and mobility loose in my right arm fingers (which is terrible bcs im a musician and really need those to be fast, strong and flexible. Hope that a little bit of excercise and this kind of stretches help me recover! Love
I a 30 day breast cancer survivor. I saw your video and thought yes healthy knows and stretching. My ankle needs strength and stretching would be great to see some of those. I am a walker and a jogger. I want my health and soul to start rebuilding.
