- This was always the second most emotional fight in the game in my opinion (the first being against JENOVA LIFE right after Aerith dies) cause it's Vincent's chance to finally give Hojo his come-uppins.

You don't have to be heartless to want revenge. Hojo shot Vincent, stole the love of his life, convinced her to use her baby for science and made Vincent have to suffer for all eternity due to the experiments Hojo performed on him.
I HAD to have him in my party for this fight. It wouldn’t have felt right if he didn’t get the final blow

I remember my save file of them all having a maximum stats except for aerith...but at least i got her buffed
The music is WAY too loud. When it's blowing out your speakers, it's too loud.
I have no idea why they didn't make this a vincent vs hojo battle. I always felt they should have at least forced him into your party. They don't even do that much. It's so unfair to not let him avenge his past. It is his entire back story for foks sake.
Hopefully the remake, at the very least, will make a follow-up cutscene where Vincent comes in, morphs into Chaos, and delivers the final blow. That would both give Vincent his revenge, and validate ghost Hojo's line in Dirge of Cerberus.
Vincent's an optional character. You couldn't make it a mandatory Vincent/Hojo battle since you could very well never have recruited Vincent.
Once we get to this in the remake, everybody’s gonna realize this game is about Vincent.
You did him justice--unlike others who didn't give a darn..... Thanks so much for the vid! BTW what version is this?? It's a lot better from the original from what I can tell of the graphics.

Does anyone know the song that plays during the battle? This sure could have been one of the more epic battles like a real boss fight, but it just seemed so.... short?
Yes it is extremely cold when you think about it at least he got revenge in this and in Dirge of Cerberus. It was proven canon that Sephiroth was Lucrecia and Hojo's baby.
After he owned Hojo's ass, Vincent says "Rest In Peace". That's nice.
