Part 3 shall make this moment epic. The death of the most shittiest man in ff7 ever
Well, the TEMPORARY death of the shittiest man in the world. Hojo comes back in Dirge of Cerebus and I read somewhere that he has already made his digital incarnation from Dirge of Cerebus in the remake continuity. This is, unfortunately, NOT the end for Hojo.
Vincent should be in your party for reasons when fighting Hojo.
Party should be Cloud, Red, and Vincent
@@Arkenstone435 Yeah. I actually used that party when I faced Hojo for the first time because aside from Cloud, Red and Vincent are my favorite party members.
Definitely is a must, it just feels more satisfying and feels like Vincent/Red closing a chapter of their life with Hojos death.
Yeah the one thing I don’t like about the original is it’s easy to miss story beats if you randomly have the wrong party members when you trigger events.
Yes!! Sephiroth should also show up and discover the truth.. i mean. He's been doing it nonstop! Why stop now?. 😂
I'm dying to see this scene in the next part (will be glorious).
I hope in part 3, when the party goes back to Midgar. Tifa, Barret and Yuffie fight against Scarlet and Heidegger while Cloud, Vincent and Red faces Hojo.
Red and Vincent should be mandatory for this fight

@@kentendo2672 That one works too. Having the party being useful when they comeback to Midgar instead of just waiting at the Highwind.
@RealCFZ you literally had the same thoughts as I did. The only party members missing were Cid and Cait so just thought it would be good to save Reeve since they're got better knowledge of Shinra HQ than most of the others, with the only possible exception being Vincent as a former Turk
Hojo died as he lived. Revolting
Also, take notice how, unlike SOLDIERs, Hojo completely changed when he injected himself with Jenova Cells. He must have stuffed himself with as many cells as possible, without regard for what might happen to him, all in the name of science. That’s why I honestly think he is the most despicable villain I’m not just 7, but all of Final Fantasy.

Aside from the weapons, Sexyroth and Jenova Absolute, this is the fight I'm most looking forward to in part 3 of the Remake. I hope Hojo's end is brutal like falling off the scaffolding
Imagine walking up to a guy who experimented on you, being all serious and thinking about revenge, only for him to not even turn around and say “Oh, the failure….” 😅
I purposely put Red XIII and Vincent into the party before fighting that sucker. I'd like to take Aerith along too, but...

That second form of hojo looks like dead hand from ocarina of time
I remember when I first fought him in 05 he killed me several times in a row in each phase
This is going to sound weird, but for some reason I remembered his last form looking angelic or handsome. No idea why I remember that

Hojo never accounted for the potential of Cloud.
I have a feeling he already knows. I noticed during the Nibelheim incident he really quickly shies away from the subject of who his father is after mentioning Jenova is his mother’s name. Well, even if he doesn’t know Hojo is his biological father he’s still the man who raised Sephiroth so he’s still the closest thing Sephiroth’s got to a father.
@@cathygrandstaff1957 I say Glenn taken the father figure role due to how he is in Ever Crisis. Glenn been more of a father to Sephiroth than anyone has been. Of course Hojo set the bar to rock bottom to begin with.

I wonder if they are just going to have him mutate during the phase change or just cover his transformation by black clouds in Part 3.
The flying dirty dishrags of fate will no doubt be involved.
@@commandervile394 with Sephiroth now in control of them. I won't be surprised if he makes things worse by giving Hojo a 4th phase.
Of course they are gonna wuss out and have it obscured, can't risk upsetting the poor widdle tummies of modern gamers.
@@liammccbyrne4184 They'll probably just skip the whole thing entirely and have Hojo get killed offscreen by the trashbag ghosts or some dumb sh1t because "muh subversion of expectations".
Game's part 2 where Sephiroth and Aerith along ex soldiers got plans to take down Midgar.

I always keep remedy towards the top of my inventory at the end of the game. It sucks to look for the right item during a fight.
Yup….. I wish I knew some of this stuff earlier.
This fight could’ve been much shorter if I healed Tifa.
I didnt even know that you could reorganize your inventory lol. I didnt even know you could run away from battles until I looked it up because I got mad about the shinra manor encounter rate
Just use KoTR 3 times to Kill him even with 9999 HP 999 MP I won't even fight the CARRY ARMOR BOSS WITHOUT it.
So Hojo gets injected by Jenova cells, becomes an apparently monstrous life form, and then gets more stable, more "superior" looking. I guess this proves theres some truth in genes, and Sephiroth didn't become so strong and "perfected" for no reason.
