In my opinion the saddest line in this game. The end of the world around the corner and it basically already ended for Cloud and Tifa.
Despite not having a place in the world, they still want to save it. They are the polar opposite of Sephiroth.
I like how Cloud's awkwardness with words isn't treated like a flaw that needs to be fixed. It's just a part of who he is.
Saw this somewhere almost 10 years ago, glad I saved it:
Man, that must've been an awkward scene for Cid and Barret.

Cid- "Yep. Said all I had to with Shera. Figured I'd make sure our little airship was in tiptop shape tonight for tomorrow's battle."

Cid- "The vampire and the ninja are...around. Red is in the back somewhere. I don't much care about Cait Sith."
Barret- "What about the kids?"
Cid- "Cloud and Tifa? Outside talkin'.@^%#'in' waste of time, really. In my day, if you liked a girl, you bought her flowers and a drink and you were golden. This communicating thing is pointless. A good woman don't need to talk."
Barret- "Outside where? I don't see 'em."
Cid- "Right there."
Barret- "Where?"
Cid- "Over yonder, see? Near the cliff.........oh my GOD!!!"
Barret- "What is it? What's going on- HOLY S#%!&!!! Look away Cid! LOOK AWAY RIGHT NOW!!!!"
Cid- "I CAN'T! I CAN'T PULL MY EYES OFF 'EM!! IT DON'T SEEM POSSIBLE!!! HOW CAN THOSE THINGS EVEN EXIST!!!!!!!!"

Thats basically their relationship in a nutshell right here. I hope Part 3 maintains the same level of intimacy. I dont need them to necessarily have sex to confirm mutual feelings but if its implied i will gladly take it!

fun fact there is a deleted scene during they night together that consist that they will go to a Chocobo stable to spend the night and during the morning one of them will look from the door if there's someone outside before return basicly saying that they did it

SE should make that scene into a mini game in part 3 of the remake trilogy….and make the high score really hard to get, so then they have to do it over and over XD

No they didn’t. Square Enix confirmed that they didn’t had intercourse at game at all. You guys are delusional seriously….They might kissed….
I put the VA voices in this scene and imagine how it will be played out in part 3.
If they do this justice, it will blow my mind just how rebirth totally knocked all the scenes i always imagined out of the park!
The lines here change depending on how many affection points you have with Tifa
For all they lost, they still have each other.
This will be the scene in Final Fantasy VII R3 that will solidify them as gaming's greatest couple.
This scene is very romantic and heartwarming. The player gets to see Cloud as the person he REALLY is, finally. He's a shy, anxious guy but whom has a big heart and a sweet sense of humour. This is why Tifa loves him so. I hope in Part 3 they hit the tone just right (I have faith because the VAs are so good!). Don't need it to be graphic, just make sure to show the two of them cuddling and comforting each other. That's real love.

Cody Christian was Cloud’s VA in Crisis Core Reunion. So you can already see what his “real Cloud” voice sounds like.
Hope game three sets this entire place up beautifully to show how tifa and cloud are great together and make advent delete itself. Rebirth had a great dynamic between them and even a kiss.
They jumped the shark with the kiss. That scene should be different. And when this moment comes they vould go to gs and do that.
I’m team Cloti all the way but I felt meh about the GS kiss. It would’ve been more impactful if they had their first kiss here

I can see the true first kiss be under the highwind or after the final final final FINAL final sephiroph fight where cloud finally becomes his true self
@@coffeeandjelly4614 while Im clerith I think its a great scene IF it happens instead of the under the highwind segment before last battle. They even walk out from the gondola like something more happened... but the best cloti scene is when they lay casually and wait gor ghat bird to appear. Cloud is actually happy.

I hope hardcore Cleriths who drop hate bomb on Tifa understand even if some interactions are optional,
Clerith can't have that obvious intimate romantic interaction EVEN when they have the option, it'll just lead to convo, ofcourse they care about each other, but never and will never reach the same level intimation as Cloud does to Tifa, and I even like Aerith, she is indeed the most beautiful char I think, but for Cloud, it's Tifa
somehow,, I can heard Britt Baron's and Cody Christian's voice in this conversation scene..
Cant wait for part 3, i assume it will skipped the deed section but likely show cloud and tifa after the deed try to fix their clothes

Wonder if the next game will do justice? Well, at least in rebirth Tifa certainly had her moment of indulgence lol.
I really hope they nail this scene. seeing them alone is really sad but I like how they encourage and talk about what has happened up to this point. I like how vulnerable they are being and how they are telling each other that it's ok now because they're not alone. they have friends and each other and now they can fight back. it's really sweet so I'm really looking forward to it.
Its crazy that, i read the dialogues, and in my head, i hear their voices from the remake.

There's plenty of ways for them to confirm it without being explicit. Morning comes, Tifa's slipping on her top with her back to the camera and Cloud's picking up a discarded boot, the two give each other a knowing smile, make some cute comments to one another, easy enough. ^^;

I do hope that Part 3 of the Remake Trilogy will the Cloud and Tifa sex scene a thing.
Man, I can think of 23 ways they could expand this part of the game in part 3 of the Remake trilogy; though if I had to sum it up into one, it would be this:
Cloud takes Tifa on a date (completely voluntarily), bringing her to many places across the world on the Highwind, maybe check up on the other party members that are spending time with their loved ones. It could end underneath the highwind, and changes depending on how much affinity is gained during the date. One other thing they could do is double the max level of affinity for Tifa after the trip through the lifestream, to show that her and Cloud's relationship is different from the rest. Not entirely sure how the affinity system will be handled as a whole in part 3.
Now if only Zidane and Garnet’s love story could have been like this, instead of being a selfish idiot and drugging and abandoning him the first chance she got to run back home like a moron.

Not sure what difference that makes, I do remember that I got it. I played the game several times over however, and explored everything I could back in the late 90's. That's what honestly makes a RPG an amazing, replayability game. Options 😊

Knowing the Remake saga, they will completely ommited this part, specifically the implications of sex.

The highwind scene is literally THE most anticipated moment along with the lifestream sequence for part 3, ain't no way they're omitting it. SE is very aware of fan expectations, and have been milking Tifa's iconic high affinity line in a bunch of side games. The question becomes how explicit it'll be given the T rating.
