I live in Melbourne!! I highly recommend you go to suburbs like Boxhill (especially for Asian) , Springvale, Melbourne (city) and Footscray for food. Although, I think you’ll find the food, coffee and cafe scene here in Melbourne is the best in the world (but maybe I’m biased) you can find almost any cuisine the world has to offer here ❤❤❤ We have a really diverse culture so be sure to try a lot. Also, Asian supermarkets are your best friend, prices are usually cheaper and you get access to foods imported from China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines!
i'm really blessed atm cuz im renting a friend's apartment she has bought. so i pay much cheaper than the avg :) i would say avg rent for sort of 1 bed 1 bathroom would be around 400... hope this helps☺
