Don't forget to deep condition is definitely the best advice. And I say this as someone who sometimes forgets to deep condition 😬. I know that at first I was scared about over moisturizing but you are for sure right that your curls need moisture no matter if they are looser or not. I actually stay away from deep conditioners, conditioners, and styling products with the heavier oils like coconut oil because of how they weigh down my hair. But I love the Manuka honey deep conditioner for when I accidentally protein overload. Also a good leave in conditioner thrown in a cocktail hasnt hurt me yet even when I experiment with conditioners.
Also have you tried the Acure brand conditioners in the past or since they relaunched?
Years ago I tried them since they were one of the few conditioners available in my area without silicones. And I loved thier pumpkin seed oil conditioner.
They redid stuff and now that same conditioner (or maybe they reformulated. For sure they changed the packaging) is marketed as an ultra hydrating conditioner.
I used to like it because it wasn't heavy like the suave coconut conditioner (my first "girly girl" approved conditoner) but I have no idea if it would be moisturizing enough for tighter curls or kinky hair which it now seems to claim it is good for.

Thanks girl I def agree! It’s so easy for us to skip but so important! And natural hair problems 😩 too much moisture and it’s gummy soft and too much protein hard as a rock haha and thats good especially for your looser pattern so it’s not so weighed done because heavy oils will def do that , there has been times I over did it with the oily products and my hair felt disgusting! But yess I love the deep conditioner but I def agree it’s heavyyy. And good I’m glad! ♥️ love me some leave ins🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I actually had no idea they had a hair product line! The ingredients look crazy amazing! Thank you so much for mentioning it have you tried it since they re packaged? I’ll def give it a try!!

@@curlygirllex I haven't. I bought the conditioner and am waiting for my current experiment (the Pantene jojoba oil conditioner) to run out.
