      Thank you so much! It was a gift from my brother :)
      I am doing well and excited to start sewing up summer rompers and such. What are you working on?

    This is a very helpful video. I am starting from the very beginning. I gather I need to download pdfstitcher and then inkscape?

      Yes you can find them both online! The logos are shown in the thumbnail of this video so you know you’re downloading the correct program.

      Can you use any projector?

    • @sewitshellbee7593
      @sewitshellbee7593  Год назад

      @@VERONICA-og8vl most people use a mini projector mounted about 50 inches above the cutting surface, or a short throw projector that can sit on a nearby shelf. You can also use a system of mirrors to expand the size of your projection. The main thing is since the image is being projected down onto a table, not onto a wall, you don't want a big projector that is designed to be very far away from the projected surface.
      I hope that makes sense!

    I have the volume on my computer set to full blast, and still can't hear the sound, its so low compared to the other youtube videos I was watching prior to this one.
    I'll try again later with headphones. I'm really wanting to learn how to edit atterns in inkscape, add length, decrease width, mesh two different patterns together by copy and pasting one pattern piece onto another one and drawing lines to grade/ hack them together.

      I'm sorry to hear that the volume is an issue! There is a wonderful facebook group called Projectors for Sewing which has many helpful google doc explanations linked in their featured tab including one called The Beginner's Guide to Inkscape. Also many helpful people who know a lot and are happy to answer questions.
      Happy sewing!
