Acts 19
King James Version
19 1
And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
It is pretty straight forward - they were baptized unto John's baptism, never even heard of the Good News. Paul then tells them to believe on Jesus Christ ( as we know John's baptism is of water, Jesus's is of fire and spirit).
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (This further proves they never heard of that before)
In this verse it is only said "believe on". Since the readers would know what Paul implies, the writer uses only the term "believe on" instead of citing the whole Gospel everytime someone believes on Jesus. That is my take on that.
I think a lot of nowadays pharisees do not think of that this way and use the verse "even the demons know of Jesus" and so on, but that is another story.
As I said, pretty straightforward - they were normal baptized - they hear the Good News - Jesus's baptism - sealed with The Holy Spirit.

I like how Sam's most used line that "proves" he's right is always "be honest because I know your an honest person." Implying that anyone who disagrees with Sam is dishonest and a liar. That's such a load of 💩
Exactly! Almost like he feels his ideas or his view is the final authority over the word of God. I hope he turns to Christ fully.
@scottyhamilton3999 well, I mean, he does believe that the Roman catholic church is the closest thing to Paul and peters ministries. So not surprising he'd have the same "my authority over the bible." Attitude.
@@jamesvan2201the fact is the Bible doesn't explain itself to you different people have taken different interpretation of the Bible. Its not a coincidence that no apostolic church believed in OSAS or saved through faith alone this a new liberalized doctrine
@sundiatakeita595 no. It quite literally isn't new. Osas and free grace are doctrines from both Paul and peters ministries and the early church. I can link you to a guy who proves it. The problem is not that "the bible doesn't explain itself." The problem is that the devil is very real, very intelligent, and very persistent. The kjv is the closest version we have to the original text and manuscripts. But satan has his hand everywhere and as so, has inspired godless men to "rewrite" his own version and so there is only 1 or 2 versions that are closest to the real thing, while there are about 20 other versions that change words and definitions. For example, "repent". The word repent has been changed from its original "metanoia". The catholic church (who claims that jesus gave them authority over the bible, the very word of God, and changed the meaning of repent, to "penance" meaning in layman's turns, to make up for your past mistakes. Do good to wipe out the bad you have done. And in that context, the Bible doesn't make sense and loses its power because penance doesn't Mtch up with what the gospel says. The Bible says that all men have fallen from God's grace. Not a single one of us can do anything to earn salvation, let alone make up for our past sins, and therefore, cannot please God. So how then, does the bible tell us to repent of sins for salvation? It doesn't. Metanoia means meta - to change, different, alternate. Noia - to know, mind, or thought. Repent means to change your thought. To change your mind, change what you think. So when Jesus tells us to repent for the remission of sins, he's saying "turn away from not believing in me, to believing in me and you will be forgiven." Or "stop believing in your own works for salvation and turn and have faith in me for your salvation." Repent and it's various forms is in the bible about 115 times. You now how many times "of your sins for salvation" follows the word repent? Zilch! Zero, absolutley none. The Bible does mention repentance of sins, but never does it say "for salvation." Read Matthew 7:21-23 and then John 6:40. Read 1 John 5:3 and then 1 John 3:23. It's very clear. And Paul himself says in romans "I am convinced that no man, nor angel........can take us from the hand of god." (Paraphrased) which logically shows that once you are in God's hands, nothing can steal you away, hence once saved, always saved. Also read roamns 3:10-22. It's all over that book. Don't trust just any book titled "the holy bible". Make sure you know it's the closest to the original. The catholic church has tried for over hundreds of years to stop the word of God from being brought to the world. Ever heard of the "dark ages"? It's called "Dark Ages" for a reason, hint, jesus and God's word is a light to the darkness.
Truth can be known. But only to those who diligently and genuinely seek it and want to know. Jesus didn't go to every single person who called out to him. There were many he avoided. He could see what was truly in their hearts. Not everyone who claims to be a christian is actually a christian. Maybe in name only, but that's all. 2 timothy 5 says "having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof." These are the Christians in name only.
Just because Judas did many wonderful works didn't save him because he didn't do the will of the Father, which is to believe on the one he sent 🙏
judas coulda been saved , had he not committed suicide..... sad to be honest. judas is not the only one that betrayed our Lord. and he alos would not be the only one that woulda been forgiven by our Lord. its just a sad story all together.

Believe in Christ and you’re saved. Don’t pray to saints, don’t believe in idols. You’ll be fine bro
Anyone who wants to justify Judas as a believer has no idea what believing in Christ is
Exactly
I agree. I like to use a skydiver analogy. A skydiver believes in his parachute. Not that it is real, or exists but he trusts his parachute completely to save his life. The same is with Jesus Christ. We believe IN Him, and we trust Him completely and we rely completely on His work. How can our work purchase life when what we owe is death?
This shows Sam has no clue on eternal security
Judas was never a believer to begin with even though he might have done great signs and wonder
Also notice even disciples were not able to understand that who was Judas because he was acting and walking just like believers
But inwardly he was unbeliever and Jesus pointed out 3 times
Yet no one understood it
Today if anyone believes in his own ability to work and perform to reach heaven then he is going to hell
Christ + works = No salvation
Once saved always saved

As a former Roman Catholic for 57 years, I was hurt and let down by born again Christians (close, intimate friends + a family member) who never shared the gospel with me. I had also gone to non-denominational churcheS for many years and never heard the gospel there either. It took a supernatural event when I almost died for God Himself to lead me to salvation. Not a human involved. I'm trying to say, that I was ignorant in knowledge and arrogant in my Catholicism (taught behaviour - only Catholics go to heaven). So I wasn't hostile to the gospel, just no one took the time to share it with me, nor did I have any idea that what I was taught was a lie and I should seek the truth. God bless each of you. I pray for you and your unsaved loved ones daily.

That is almost the same story as mine, except I was C of E…I never heard the gospel until 2020! I am now 59 and born again, despite a life of believing in God, but never understood any of it…finally when I heard the gospel, it made so much sense and I was finally set free.
@carolmaplesden916 thank you so much for the prayers. It blows my mind how angry some Christians get when someone doesn't accept their belief, i.e. King James only. I get the agression as well from the oneness believers, especially when I ask them why Jesus is talking (praying) to Himself? Boom! fight response from them. I haven't even watched the video but I can say from reading the Bible and what I know, he was not a full believer but was one of those people who followed the movement for personal gain. The Bible says you can not serve 2 masters, God and money. He clearly loved money more than he believed.
Which would also fall into the scripture that says "many will say 'Lord Lord."

It is Jesus‘s job to judge who is saved, and who is not saved. It does not tell us specifically if Judas was saved in the Bible. You have to infer that he is either saved or not saved based on your opinion, and pre-suppositions of how you viewed the Bible, whether you are Catholic,Calvinist, Armenian, Lordship, or free Grace . So honestly, we will not know until we get to heaven.
Well done. May the Lord continue to bless you with wisdom.
Another banger
I don't say this about many people, because it applies to all sinful flesh to varying degree:
Every time I hear Shamoun open his mouth, I see a man full of pride.. manifested as this aggressive contempt for others.
Judas Iscariot was literally foretold to betray Christ. When the Lord prays, He proclaims He has lost NONE.. EXCEPT the Son of Perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
Thus however you want to perceive it, you CANNOT base anything off of Judas Iscariot.
Sitting here and debating whether Judas was saved, not saved.. isn't even necessary. The entire reason Judas did betray Him, was that He was given over to Satan at the proper time.. because Judas did NOT BELIEVE on Christ. Judas was literally CHOSEN TO BETRAY HIM.. thus, Christ picked him AS the one to fulfill his betrayal and KEPT Judas UNTIL the hour came..
No, Judas wasn't forced to do it (to the Calvinists). It was in his own heart to do it, and he was chosen and kept free of Satan until the right time.
God exists above and outside of time, people. We perceive things linearly, God knows all of it and when it came to the life and death/resurrection of Jesus Christ.. The Father worked all things to this end.
Judas was a poor example however biblically speakig one can reject salvation not lose and rejection > ignorance refer to 2 peter 2 18-22
@joellim2 I am well familiar with every warning verse that is used in this argument, including this one.
Yet if you read the passage, it finds a parallel in what Jesus spoke regarding an impure spirit being cast out of a person.. going through arid places unable to find rest, then finding 7 more spirits more wicked than it and re entering the person.. their fate is worse than before.
I have heard the argument that one can "give back their salvation". Yet, what people actually mean, is sin. What people actually mean by this, is what YOU do.. which is contrary to why or how man is saved at all.
The commandment to be saved, is to believe on the Son of God. To receive the Gospel of your Salvation, by believing it and trusting in the one who promised.
@@harpuia101 so if after i believe i grieve the holy spirit till i fall into unbelief am i still saved?
John15 makes a beatiful picture for us on what salvation is its in christ, so faith places us in him(abide in him) and seal of the spirit (he in us) only those who are abide are saved so i don't call it losing salvation rather it's losing faith cos with losing salvation it means christ went somewhere which john 10:28-30 suggest other wise
however losing faith implies failure to abide in salvation hence walking in lawlessness matthew 7:21-23 shows this set of people they have his power(holyspirit i.e he abides in them) however they didn't abide in him and you see his reason you walk in lawlessness i.e you didn't walk/abide in me he only knows those in him. Some will claim it's people that believe in works that came to him i say;
1) If they believed in works they were never saved hence never recieved of the power to do the things they claimed.
2) if the did the works through another power then they also never knew him and hence can't claim the familiarity depicted by the Lord Lord shout
@joellim2 Yes. One is still saved even if they do these things.
They simply won't produce fruit. And one cannot do anything without abiding in the Lord. You become useless and worthless.
Matthew 7 21-23 is condemning unbelievers who never believed the Gospel. That is the will of the Father, read John 6:40 .. to believe on the Son and receive Eternal Life freely. God literally gave the Gospel of man's eternal salvation and commands ALL men to RECEIVE it (by believing it). The Gospel IS the POWER of God unto Salvation, for all who BELIEVE.
Therefore, He doesn't know them. There is only one way that is possible, they were never saved. The Lord will NOT tell ANY of his to depart.
Or perhaps you do not believe Him, when he said this;
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me." John 6: 37-39
In "no wise cast out" is another way of saying, BY NO MEANS will I cast them out.
The workers of lawlessness, allow me to explain that to you.
You are either saved by Grace or under Law.
By justifying yourself by your deeds (WORKS literally is YOUR DEEDS, anything YOU DO in your flesh), you are rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ and going about to establish your own justification.. you are rejecting Him, because you reject His precious blood shed on the cross the very payment for your forgiveness.
THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. By the Law, shall no flesh be justified. Let me explain this:
If you are seeking to justify YOURSELF (attain righteousness by YOUR DEEDS), you are NOT justified freely by God. These who approached the Lord in Matthew 7, justified themselves BY THEIR WORKS. The Lord judged them as workers of iniquity, for ANY who seek to justify themselves by the Law are UNDER the CURSE. For it is written:
"Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them."
Only Christ is worthy; and His bride is worthy because He is.. for the two shall become ONE flesh.
Beautiful deconstruction of the false interpretation. The word is clear and true. God bless brother.
Another great video bro!
Judas "repented of his sin" and still went to hell. Think about that Lordship Salvation proponents
Also consider jonah 3:10 where it says turning from wicked ways is seen as a work. And we are not saved by works.
Also God repented multiple times in the Bible and God does not sin. So repent cannot mean turn from sin.
Also the greek shows repent means to change your mind. The thief on the cross did not live a changed life or get baptized by water or confess to a priest. He repented and believed. He changed his mind and believed.
Saved by grace through faith, not by works. Once saved always saved.
Glory to God!❤
Well I think Judas just think he betrayed an innocent ordinary man at the end. Plus his repentance was worldly he was just sorry he got caught, not rly caring about God.
@@CappieBG So your beliefs are based on what 'you think'. Got it
+@@YakmonSaysItLikeItIs Your faith is justified by your works. For the apostle Paul faith isn't just cognitive belief. . . even the demons believe. . . please read all of Paul's epistles, see 1 Corinthians 13 and Hebrews 11. . . And remember that both Paul and James speak to the justification of Abraham (Romans 4; James 2), so you must reconcile those two passages.
Yes, there are exceptions to repenting of sin, but by and large throughout scripture it's almost always used in the context of turning from evil ways. The Greek definition is to change one's mind but in the Hebrew, it meant to turn back. Just look at the context of the passages because many times it's given to the believers to repent. (Acts 19:18; 20:20-21; 26:19-20; 2 Corinthians 7:1, 9-10; Romans 2:4-5; 14:10-13; 1 Corinthians 3:18-23; 12:21; 2 Timothy 2:25-26).
Ask, why is it necessary for Christ to intercede for us if there was no need of repentance? “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25; see Romans 8:26-27, 33-34). If believers are to be made in the image of the Son through the energies of the Holy Spirit then it's obvious that repentance is necessary for those that struggle in the flesh, and it will vary depending on their faith.
"Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” (Hebrews 10:28-30).
The thief on the cross was before the fulfillment of the New Covenant. Christ hadn't yet died and rose from the dead. It's after His resurrection that he commanded the apostles to go out Baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:15).
Repentance and Baptism are preconditions to receiving God's grace, it is an entrance into covenant with Christ. Christians repent and receive Baptism for the remission of sins. No one can forgive sins but God, it's an act of grace. To think that could possibly merit salvation would be a blatant contradiction. . . we do these out of fidelity and love for Christ, in honor of His commandments. “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God” (Luke 4:12).
Saved by grace through faith, working through love (see Galatians 5:6).

Well said brother
I feel like people do this a lot where they take a less clear text that can be confused or manipulated by interpretation and totally block out the clear text of Jesus saying one of you is not a believer one of you is a devil one of you will betray me that’s pretty clear that Judas has never believed. I don’t know why everyone skips the one plus one is 2 and go straight to trigg. We know the Bible can’t contradict it self so why even look for other text to try to block out the one that’s clear. If the Lord said one of you is not a believer that means from the forming of the 12 to the betrayal and to his death he never believed I don’t see how this is confusing
Satan's final attempt is to cloud the mind of believers and make them also doubt the work of Jesus's sacrifice on the cross. It adds fear and doubt, making them believe that they have to do good works because Jesus's death on the cross wasn't sufficient. Now add people's pride on top of all that, causing further divisions. They won't listen to sound arguments because they've already made up their minds that good works are a requirement for salvation...just like any other religion in the world.
Christ died, that is history.
Christ died, and came back to life for ME, THAT IS SALVATION!!!

Judas’ name was written in the book of life, but psalm says his name was blotted out of the book of life. You are can have a relationship with God and fall away. Jesus told his disciples that they will face many trials but he told them this so they would not fall away or be blotted from the book of life
@OnoDiamante. I have been watching your videos since yesterday. I largely agree with what you teach. However, I do have some questions:
What does it mean to "believe in Jesus"?
a) If one were to take away a feeling of guilt followed by repentance, if one were to take away expectation that is expressed through a need to fellowship with Jesus Christ through prayer and other forms of worship, if one were to take away adjustment in one's choices and priorities to align with Jesus's character, what would be left of the meaning; to believe in Jesus"?
b) Paul says something about this matter in Romans 10:10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. In other words, confession here is part of the generic term called "Faith" in Ephesians 2:8.
One can't obviously confess to themselves. They have to speak out in front of a family or classroom or some other congregation.
c) One has to arrive at a point where they know they are hopeless and wretched and that they can't by themselves make heaven, to seek Jesus's righteousnessness. To believe on Jesus therefore should come with accepting Jesus's Lordship and if he is Lord, then the discipleship element naturally comes onto they who believe.
These are my thoughts.
What is to "believe on Jesus".

One of your other videos where you say; "the gospel is obeyed when the gospel is believed," answers the other part of my question.

The guy in the clip is so confident in himself, it's embarrassing.
Sam is sharpe you reformed prods need to consider: Matt 16:27 27 "For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done." Also Revelation 20 :13 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. " So it sounds like works and deeds have a role to play.
Just because Jesus said you will sit on the twelve thrones, doesn't mean everyone was present that would be sitting on the twelve thrones. He could have been talking to the eleven who were there assuming each would understand they would be sitting on their assigned throne but mathus was probably the 12th. Either way putting Judus on one of the thrones would either make Jesus a false prophet since Judas is now disqualified or place Judas on one of the twelve thrones despite the betrayal proving his eternal security. Either way Sam loses.
EXACTLY MY THOUGHTSM
What did Judas not believe? That Jesus was not God? Or that Jesus wasn’t from the father? What could it be specifically
God bless u Ono... ur helping a lot of believer contend for the faith... I hope Charles see this video so he can be strengthened and not entertain Sam the agent of Satan
Excellent refutation!
Could there be an implied clause in there "Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven (if you abide in me).” Perhaps not everyone being talked to did believe.
So was Simon the sorcerer
And others!
If once saved always saved is true why does he warn the churches about their faith in Rev1 and Rev 2
So Jesus sacrifice on the cross wasn't good enough.
@@erickanter I really don’t understand how you can even say that of course his death was good enough Read Read Rev 2 and 3 and tell me why he warns the churches in those Era’s 0:09
Their was another appointed two make the twelve!
So i understand that Jesus is speaking to the 70 in this chapter, but it says he appointed them ALSO
In the chapter before, he had just sent the 12 out to do the same thing as the 70
So would that not mean, that everything he said to the 70 applied to the 12?
No, because one of the twelve was an unbeliever as I demonstrated in this video.
@@OnoDiamante all respect intended, but that seems like very fuzzy logic,
When the previous chapter plainly says, he called his 12 disciples, and gave them power
And it names Judas among them.. who received the power also.
@@johnathanbolin5539 It’s the only logical conclusion drawn when scripture is compared with scripture.
“But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.” John 6
You’re attempting to apply a statement made to one audience to all members of another one. That’s fuzzy logic.
@@OnoDiamante well I'll refrain from getting to deep into via text... Just because it's too much to type...
Keep studying, and maybe one we can talk in person...
@@johnathanbolin5539this Ono guy is wrong. Ass logic horrible theology
but then again, Matthias is an apostle chosen by the apostles whereas the apostle Paul was directly chosen by Jesus on route to Damascus...

Everyone ever born has their name written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
When you die without Christ your name is blotted out.
Sam Shamoun is a heretic.
Well Done I agree. I just started watching Your Videos after watching Your video, where You disagree with Gene Kim. I Think Gene Kin explains How God deals with us at different times, very well. Look at King Saul who lost The Holy Spirit. Ki,was mpointing out hoe we were not always under Grace, which is Why Jesus went to Cavalry for Us. But that beind said, I think Your explanation Of Judas, and The Scripture to back it up was was spot on.
AREN'T WE ALL UNBELIEVER'S FROM THE BEGINNING JUST LIKE JUDAS? 🤔🤔🤔
Yes but we believed at some point, unlike Judas.
Good video.
Sam also said animals have immortal spirits like humans! I made a short refuting that!
Praying for you don't lose your security after you earned it 😮.
He laid no smackdown. Judas didn't realize what he had done till after. Thus he hung himself He didn't believe thus he deceived himself. Compare Judas to no one. Jesus even told him, it's better if you were never born.
If Judas was part of the 70 or the twelve rulers wouldn't that just disprove his own argument that Judas lost salvation?
Judas had lost everything, as an unbeliever. Judas died had died in his sin, and went to his own place, Acts 1:25. Mathias, a true believer took the place of Judas.
You should debate him live
This man comes across so prideful and arrogant
Great points. Sam should have taken hermeneutics classes at a good seminary; it would have saved him from making such Biblical errors.
Why does the ESV say Seventy Two?
Amen 🙏 brother in our Lord Jesus Christ ✝️ God bless
Judas Iscariot never 👎 believed the gospel (The Death, Burial And Resurrection Of Our Lord Jesus Christ) to be saved and have Salvation (Eternal Life/Heaven).
I don’t believe Judas was saved for the record.
@@TheLaymansSeminary Judas Iscariot never 👎 had salvation because Judas Iscariot never 👎 believed on the Lord Jesus Christ on what the Lord Jesus Christ did for him on the cross for his sins (The Death, Burial And Resurrection Of Our Lord Jesus Christ).
@@iamachildofgodbecauseibeli2491 Ok, that's one view. I don't believe he was saved either.
Even those who are told "depart from me" in Matthew 7 said they cast out demons in His name. The name of Jesus has that power, it doesn't mean the person doing the excersism is saved. Btw, this guy is so rude and overbearing!
I would love to see ono and sam debate
It wouldn’t be a debate Sam shamoun would use personal insults and kick him off the live stream
I want to see Ono debate too. Anyone.
@@YakmonSaysItLikeItIs As much as I'd like to agree, videos are good because you can present a well thought out argument and not risk being overcome with emotion. A lot of these 'debates' are pointless babbling over non-essential, often obscure doctrine. Where you'll have a panel of 10 guys, zero are saved, and they spend three hours arguing over some vain thing. Ono is 100% dedicated to the gospel and in my opinion, he's doing a great job with this channel.
@kM-ij2ly right, Sam isn't capable of having a civilized conversation. He's too much of a narcissist. He doesn't tolerate disagreement.
Brother I’d love to see you debate him.
Do not cast your pearls before swine.
I think it would be a good take If the verse of Christ saying their names were written in the book of life and that's why they could do the miracles and included judas was not there. And you can also read Christ knew who did not believe and who would betray him as two distinct people or persons. There were people in his group who did not believe and he knew who would betray him. Plus seeing him recontextualize written in heaven as something different was sad.
*different topic, but using Judas: Did Judas exhibit remorse for what he had done after? If so, does that mean that remorse is not a sign of repentance? If so, then we should not use remorse as a means of giving reassurance of one’s doubts that they are saved? But instead by way of gentle reminder of the gospel it feelings? I want to point this out in order to critique my own thinking.
*not feelings
why does Sam have to be so passive aggressive. it is so hard to listen to this guy.

Tony Evans claims in his devotional book that Judas was Jesus's friend. Clearly false.
We are his friends if we do what he commands us, which is to love one another as he loved us. Jn 15. Judas did not love Jesus. I think that's pretty safe to say.
I really like your content. Not sure how I feel about repenting not being a part of salvation, but maybe salvation is given the moment you have faith 🤷🏼♂️, and that will result in you repenting. I want to figure out if a change in allegiance is required to achieve salvation or if it is a result of salvation, I’m assuming repentance would be a similar argument. I think Jesus saying that the kingdom of God is near repent and believe could be an argument for repentance being part of the process in obtaining salvation and not not an after effect of salvation. I like how you use the King James but honestly late I don’t know if it’s my attention span or if your videos are getting more technical I find myself finding it hard to stay focused when you go through the scriptures. The old English is cool but sometimes it makes me lose focus. Anyway keep up the great work you and several others cleared up James 2 for me.

The part of Judas casting out demons, the power is not in him but the name of Jesus. It's also written in the end times many false prophets will find Jesus not knowing them yet the cast put demons in Jesus name. Judas casting out demons doesn't mean he was a believer.
Saying Judas was an apostle is basically teaching that you can loose your Salvation.
Saying judas was a saved is basically Saying you can loose your Salvation.
Judas was not a true believer.
Judas was called for a different purpose.
He wasn't a believer.
