Thanks for going hands on with some of our gaming surfaces. For those instance we do have a few others including our Balteus ( hard plastic surface with RGB lighting ) as well as our ROG SCABBARD II which uses a different textile weave and also features a nano coating.
For those interested in the moonstone -
    Some additional details
The Moonstone is made out of durable 9H tempered glass, while it is glass and can break it is much more durable and resistant to scratches than non tempered glass.
The ROG Moonstone Ace L works best with PTFE mouse feet.
We recommend against using other feet materials on the ROG Moonstone Ace L,
especially glass feet, as the friction would wear down both the surface of the
mouse pad and the mouse feet.
Due to its unique tempered glass surface texture, the
ROG Moonstone Ace L is designed for speed, making
fast swipes much more consistent and effortless.
This would especially benefit FPS players who prefer
lower mouse sensor DPI settings for a more hands-on
    control while aiming and flicking.
In our internal testing compared to a competitors glass offering we offered superior maximum static friction and kinetic friction.
This means less force required for
    flicking / swiping movements
    This means easier tracking
    movements
Best of luck with whatever you settle on and thanks again to @1upnerdcore for the hands on impressions.

Great review but please lower your sensitivity, your aim will get shaky in intense situations causing you to miss shots and rage. I have helped countless people with the same advice, please consider it.
