2 Ways to Gain Mobility with Band Strength Training

  • As we age we want out strength training to keep us LONG and STRONG. This means having the stability and mobility to maximize our strength through larges ranges of movement.
    There are two techniques you can apply when strength training with bands that will help you build strength with length.
    1 - Assisted Strength Training
    2 - Eccentric Lengthening
    These two techniques are only possible with band strength training using a variable resistance.

    Awesome drill Dave, Tuesday and Thursday I do boxing training with my trainer and Sundays sparring. Also on my off days I do band mobility strength training that I learned over the years with you using your bands and I can say to be 55 years old I feel great. Also band training works great for my clients as well. Thanks Brandon Parker.

    Nice drills Dave. I tried for a while some mobility movements but I felt some discomfort on joints. However when I do traditional old style statist stretching I do not feel any discomfort. YMMV
