Had a few issues at first; however, once I took note that the Flysky receiver input mapping is different from the receiver input connections as shown in the Tamiya documentation, everything works as advertised. Is it possible to reduce the reverse speed? I tried to adjust up the low point on the throttle curve, but then my brakes wont work. I want to be able to reverse in about 50% speed when i have the stick all the way down, without losing the brake feature. Thanks.
Hey Bob. This video is great an has helped me alot, but i have one problem. When i give throttle my wheels are spinning backwards, but the speaker is making the forward sound and when i go in reverse the wheels go forward but the speaker is making the reverse sound. I have tried reversing the trottle on my fs-i6 but the sound is still wrong. Hope you can help me.
Great video, can we but a running break when left stick moved backwards.. Real breaking running with break lights, and if it bushed backward twice it go reverse, (bush backward a little =little break.. a lot = a lot) ???? Answer please💚

I have a problem and I'm hoping you can help me. I have a fsi6 and I'm trying to use all 10 channels on the controller. But I cannot find a website to download into the controller for that upgrade? Or if there is another way to use all 10 channels? I need it so I can operate a lowboy trailer. There's a lot of functions on this trailer. Can you tell me how I can do this?

Quick question.. does the FS-i6 need to be modified for using with crawlers or trucks as a number of videos seem to indicate this transmitter is designed for aircraft. I have an RC CROSS bc8 MAMMOTH and use the FLYSKY GT-5 PISTOL GRIP CONTROLLER, but find this not very satisfactory for the various functions of the Crawler. Appreciate your advice.
Awesome tutorial!! Just wonder the Lipo battery can run all kind of motor or electronic parts for the semi truck? Anything else I need to be concern beside the battery cut off issue? Yes, you can easily install an MFC in a finished truck. Generally the pistol grip radios will not work with an MFC as they do not have dual rates on the channels required to run the MFC.
Hi Bob I've tried plugging into channel 5 too have it on a switch but my transmitter doesn't do it like that. I've done it to what you have done. It just doesn't make sense

Hi Bob, love your videos. I have a question? My king hauler has the mfc with trailer leg coupler servo and the works but I've noticed it does not put full power to the drive motor unless hooked up to a trailer. Is this normal and if so can that be bypassed
Yes, normal. The switch in the coupler handles that. Easy way to add power is to just flip the switch when trailer not attached. You can just stuff some paper in it :-)

I notice you plugged in the receiver channels different than the MFC-01 instructions direct. The manual says J4-CH1 J5-CH2 J6-CH3 J7-CH4 but you say to do J4-CH1 J6-CH2 J5-CH3 J7-CH4. Is this due to differences in the Flysky radio and the Futaba Attack that is mentioned in the manual?
I seem to have an issue with the j13 headlights. Same transmitter same reciever. No matter how many times I retrain my mfc still no joy. Any help would be appreciated.

Having the absolute blues, grabbed the radio for my wife thinking best to get her going, then seeing your wonderful guidance post purchase. Too much of a hassle or have you ever tried? Will absolutely pay for any cheat sheet, need off my couch!!
They all build about the same so get the one you like! The Globe liner Frame is 18 3/4" long, the King Hauler frame is 22 1/2" long and the Grand Hauler frame is 26" long.

Does the MFC-01 automatically start without pushing the right stick down like the MFC-03? I use the MFC-03 in my truck and it's always annoyed me that I have to actually use the stick to start the truck. If there was a way around this I would love to know.
Yes, it is different. You do need to assign a dual rate switch. In the Functions menu go all the way down to "assign switches" In there switch the Fly mode to normal and assign SwA as the switch. Everything else programs the same.

Thank you for taking the time to go through all of it in such detail. Do you make front speaker mounts yourself or do you purchase them? I did a little bit of quick googling and did not come up with much. Seems like something I could make fairly easily.

Can i ask a question regards the FS-i6? Have you thought about changing out the 2 rotary`s for 2 switches? Have seen a video on YT but not as clear and detailed as your vids. With this mod and the new software flash you get get many more channels
I have not played with the channel mods yet. I do know one disadvantage of going to 10 channels is that 2 receivers will not bind if you want to do wireless trailer lights.
Can anyone help me with the lights, I've followed Bob's instructions, but when I plug in the headlight cable to test it, and switch the SWA switch the light doesn't come on.
Personally I wouldn't run a truck without LiPo now Ive tried it, a 4600mAh 2S shorty will run a 6x6 KH all day around a layout and is a compact unit easily hidden under bonnets or in chain lockers or fuel tanks.
Help me guys… The coupler switch of my mfc03 is not working but when it is connected it sounds that the coupler is connected through the system.but it does not increase the power of the motor what could be the reason for this? my radio is fs-i6 i did mapped mfc also but still motor doesnot have full power..🙁 what could be the reason?
Generally the radio and mapping does not affect this switch. On trucks without a coupler Tamiya includes a jumper that goes into port J12 and shorts the 2 pins together. This runs the motor at full power all the time. The coupler switch does basically the same thing. when the switch is activated (trailer attached) you get a coupler noise and the motor is then set to full power. There is very little difference between full and reduced power.

I just purchased the Mfc 02 for the tundra Hi lift does this system hookup the same way as the mfc 01 to the fly sky receiver

The truck is a globeliner with the original Tamiya 540 motor
Get the sound correct and then just reverse the 2 wires to the motor.

All it needs is the stick centering kit. Works great with crawlers etc.

You can run 2 cell lipo's with an MFC if you use a separate low voltage alarm.

Yes, The Flysky radio plugs in differently.

The MFC-01 starts when you power it up.

Personally I wouldn't run a truck without LiPo now Ive tried it, a 4600mAh 2S shorty will run a 6x6 KH all day around a layout and is a compact unit easily hidden under bonnets or in chain lockers or fuel tanks.

The coupler switch of my mfc03 is not working but when it is connected it sounds that the coupler is connected through the system.but it does not increase the power of the motor what could be the reason for this? my radio is fs-i6 i did mapped mfc also but still motor doesnot have full power..🙁 what could be the reason?
Generally the radio and mapping does not affect this switch. On trucks without a coupler Tamiya includes a jumper that goes into port J12 and shorts the 2 pins together. This runs the motor at full power all the time. The coupler switch does basically the same thing. when the switch is activated (trailer attached) you get a coupler noise and the motor is then set to full power. There is very little difference between full and reduced power.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC thank you for the details.. but my truck benz3363.. when coupler switch is activated it males the sound but motor power is not increased.. i am getting confused about that.. Have you ever experienced something like that?
