I have been considering building 1 of these trucks for awhile. I think ill finally give it a go. I've watched all your videos on this build and you have done an extraordinary job. Thank you for the great content. This is an absolutely beautiful build.
Hi, the wire clips are made by a model railway company called Pritchard Patent Product Co Ltd in the UK 🇬🇧 , they are under their “PECO” name and come in packs of twenty, they are used for holding model railway wiring but of course you can use them for lot’s of other uses. Hope this helps. Love the videos helped me a lot with ideas.
Beautiful rig. Looked like my W900L 1:1. Lol 450 Cummins and 15 speed. But mine was Candy red with red underglow, red lights in the breathers, and lights behind the grille. Cherry floors, door and dash trim, 22" hollow soul shifter with custom shifter knob. Was long haul driver for 10 years. Just got strangled out of the industry, so hauling with a pickup now.
Hi Bob I'm just watching your grand hauler video it's a pleasure to see someone doing truck video's everybody else seems to only do car video's I'm into the trucks in a big way myself keep up the good work...Mike
Hey ole buddy its looking good . I am a OG CRAWLER. . Me watching you build this truck has got me wanting one to build so I have ordered it all and even a Trailer to carry my crawlers to places .. so I just wanted to tell you thank you and keep up the kick a$$ builds God bless
After few videos , you Sir, stole my heart . I’m very and truly appreciated all your tips and video. Yes i did Sub to your channel and yes i order a king hauler ... i’m very happy , wife little less , but i’m so excited for it. I’m half way done. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU BOB , Sir .
Often time's I see many Rigs on the highway with a custom enclosure that surrounds the Train horns which are usually mounted behind the battery box or 7nder the sleeper for maximum effect
Bob. Thanks again for getting back to me. I used the 6 channel.. but still can’t get that other horn to work. Air horn works fine... also. Very important ... how can I get the shifter to work with a switch rather then using the joystick? Any thoughts? Thanks again.
Good job on your lighting, thats awesome👍👍👍!!! I love how you painted that frame turquoise color😍!!! Did i understand you correctly that ya said, "ya sell the LED lights???"
Hey Bob love your videos. I have a question the base that you have made or used above the vibratio motor that you mounted the mfc on. Where did you get that or what is it I like how that mounts. Also I need to get one of thw templates from you for the speaker relocation where do I email for that thanks
Hi Bob, as a truck driver I'm really digging this build. I can't wait until it's done. Quick question, have you looked into the airbags for the drives? I saw another video where the guy used them and they really complete the rear end of the truck.
Really looks awesome Bob. I would love to add the extra lights to my black edition, but I struggled with all the wires as it is. And I really hate to take the cab off again. Seems like no matter how careful I am every time I do some of the smaller parts that are glued on come off. Have to reglue and then it looks messy. Yours looks great though.
The MFC has color coded harnesses. Some have1 led and some 2. You can cut them off and add more led's if you wish. For more details see my "how to solder" video. ruclips.net/video/Tln2ocwSvVY/видео.html
You do some very intricate and clean builds. Interested to see the cab paint design. Same as frame or something contrasting? Or is that a secrete? You coulda printed out a radiator on adhesive label paper and stuck in front?
@@HobbyconceptsLLC That's what I'll stick with then. I'm into crawlers and like the hobbywing 1080 for it's adjusting features and was hoping it could be used. Thanks for your quick response.
I've been following this build and I've noticed by your other build videos showing the use of the MFC, There's just one thing I don't like - The automatic turn signals. is there any way you've discovered that allows for manual use of the signal lights, or is there maybe a way to adjust where in the steering axis they come on? I am loving how this tractor is looking and it's putting me closer and closer to pulling the trigger on one of these - Even though I've never built an RC from a kit before. (Long time Traxxas owner). Thanks for your hard work and any tips you've got!
Jared, it depends on your radio and if you have any pare channels on your Rx. What I did was put it onto a spare channel(ch9) and mixed the channel to work on 2 different 2 position switches. The switch on the right turns on the right indicator and the switch on the left for the left indicator. You can also put it on a 3 position switch if you like.
Not that it matters much but those three lights in the back are red running lights on the full scale rigs. Identification lights is usually what they’re called, supposed to be on anything that’s over 80 inches in width.
Hi 👋 again further to my other message about wire clips, they are in the PECO electrics range, they are called “cable clips” part No. is PL-37. If you have a model railway shop near you they maybe able to help with supply. Bye for now….
I KNOW what you mean - waiting for parts!!! 😖 PLEASE Bob, where did you get that Chrome Tape?? I see that coming in handy in several places on my Rig. She's looking GREAT!! 👍👍👏👏👏👏🍻 Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Hello Bob I very much would like to have a template of your speaker brackets to go with my grandhaller build. I am visually impaired and it is very difficult to find your contact information.
Chill out geek of course it's yours... It's annoying watching him say my truck my mfc my this that bla bla bla... It's just annoying af...but its just my thoughts...

Thanks Bob. You sir are a great help with my first semi build.

Beautiful rig! I always get excited when I see a new video pop up from you. You have an amazing talent!
You have a wonderful knowledge of building these trucks. I enjoy your videos very much as it gives me a good idea of what you can accomplish.
Does anyone know how many extra LED`s you can run on a Tamiya wire lead ? also how many extra LED`s in total could the MFC handle? thanks
Great work is easy to appreciate, can't wait to see Part 3.
Great video watching here in Scotland 🏴
Looking good. I just got mine. I'll be starting it soon.
I've got mine together last night but waiting for the MFC
Sure is going to be a pretty looking truck! Thank you.
Looking great Bob these Hauler trucks are the only rc rig's I go crazy with LED's really enjoy your builds 😎👍

Shift servo need to be plugged into channel 5 (not the MFC). See this: studio.ruclips.net/user/videoI_XY7zh7H70/edit
Also new MFC-03 video coming next week.

If I do that the steering is controlled by the SWA Switch. I am so confused right now
Contact me by email. My email is in the video description.
Top notch build . Looking forward to seeing the finished truck. 👍😃
Need recording of CAT C15/16 engine sounds.. but pretty cool looking ;)
Great video. Anyway to buy parts from you and ship to Australia Bob? Thanks
I'm thinking of using my vintage lighting kit for this build. Guess I gotta get some more LED's!! so many extra places!
looks great! always quality productions from you Bob.
Great build

Yes, sell them at hobbyconcepts.net

That plate comes with the Grand Hauler but not the other kits. Contact me by email and I can fix you up. My email is in the video description
Great video! Would really like to see how you installed the lights and wired the front bumper.
That is in part 1
Awesome work Bob!
Hey bob where did you buy that piece behind the rear bumper the piece. That covers the light cords
The decking is cut from RC4WD diamond plate.
Nice work

Probably have to do a video on those in the future!
What are the switches you use for the bumper and underglow lights?
These: hobbyconcepts.net/products/hobbyconcepts-electronic-switch?_pos=1&_sid=de1fe52e2&_ss=r

Beautiful job Bob. What is the number for the single backup light with the MFC01 kit? And what is the green and white harness for?
The MFC has color coded harnesses. Some have1 led and some 2. You can cut them off and add more led's if you wish. For more details see my "how to solder" video. ruclips.net/video/Tln2ocwSvVY/видео.html
Looks great. Going to be an awesome rig. 😊
I'm curious, I have the same transmitter for my drones but what model receiver did you use with a ground frequency to match up to it?
Great video, love the build!!!
Thats amazing. Just subscribed
Hey bob I was just wondering where did you buy that plastic diamond plate?
RC4WD makes it. I usually get it off eBay. It is real aluminum not plastic.
Hi Bob,
Nice build so far. I am waiting for the next part.
Where does the mounting plate for the coupling actuator servo come from?
Comes in the motorized landing legs kit
You do some very intricate and clean builds. Interested to see the cab paint design. Same as frame or something contrasting? Or is that a secrete? You coulda printed out a radiator on adhesive label paper and stuck in front?
Those metal clips are sold at Daiso which is a Japanese 99 cent store
Can you fit a bumper animal guard on it?
Have you shown how to use a hobbywing esc with the mfc unit? Also I'm very thankful for your videos and can't wait for mine to arrive.
Since the MFC has a speed control built in you do not need a separate one.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC That's what I'll stick with then. I'm into crawlers and like the hobbywing 1080 for it's adjusting features and was hoping it could be used. Thanks for your quick response.
Do you have to put a sound system
No, you can easily build it without sound and even add it later.
What's a mfc 01 wish you would explain for people just enjoying the video?? 😊
ruclips.net/video/HVKR6K_q89k/видео.html
That is the sound and light unit and also serves as the speed control.
good work 👍🤙😎

What’s everything I need to build the same build on your website.
I love the work you did on the truck.but I don't think much of the color.but the color is one you have yo like as you are building the truck
What is the gauge of wire you use for the lights?
I use 30 guage.
Awesome thanks for the help
Which wires are negative and positive on the MFU for adding the led's
The whites are ground.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Thankyou very much, love your videos.

if I put a bed for an excavator, or a dump truck if it could about 20 kilograms
Can you help me put together
