One of my biggest frustrations is watching bad vids on RUclips. I have spent 40 years in the Motion Picture industry working in camera. It's nice to see some one who has put some time and effort into lighting, camera work and good sound on close ups. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for watching and I’m glad this video helped. The two colors was chosen intentionally for the purpose of showing specific details on which thread is which.
Stay tuned because we have a new video coming out every week for this machine and all of it will help anyone who uses the Class 26. Have a great time unpacking and setting up your new machine. If you have any questions reach out and I will help ya.

You are SO so lucky to have these videos! When I got my Cobra Class 26 two years ago, they had a very bad black and white guide that came with the machine. And I was completely new to industrial sewing machines. It has been a learning experience. But the Class 26 is a dream machine. You will be so very happy with yours!

When I bought my class 26, in Fort Worth, Tx., David told me and demonstrated that the thread comes off the bobbin Clock Wise. I have used both Clockwise and counter Clockwise with no difference in my stitching. I have noticed most you tube videos show counter Clockwise. Sometimes my bobbin thread does not get under the tensioner and I have to manually push it between the tensioner and the bobbin case.

    This is great. THANK YOU!!!!
The first thing I learned is that I have been threading my bobbin winder wrong.
Question: Can you make a video about tension on the Cobra Class 26? I feel like I'm still fiddling with it but I feel like when I switch thread sizes and even thicknesses, the tension is not always right. I would so appreciate that! :).

Hi Dana, I absolutely have a tension video planned stay tuned! So many videos coming this year. The laundry list is incredible and I am positive you will love what's to come :)

On the bobbin winder, sometimes the bobbin doesn’t kick out and continues to add thread , and makes a thread mess . My question is the little screw on the spring do you tighten it or the loosen it so the bobbin will kick out of gear and quit adding thread to it?

  • @lestergrigsby594

Could you do a video on how to set thread tension?

I have to check how my thread is coming off the bobbin...do you know what happens if it comes off clockwise?

  • @donfranzini100

I know people debate this but you’re not supposed to go over the pin on the tension discs…. The pin is only there to keep the discs from spinning
